About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jimoD8071BT0 contributionsProfit before Safety.... Shame on you Viator!!!We had a reservation to do the Blue Lagoon Snorkeling tour, but the weather on 12/10 was that of a Typhoon. I reached out to the parties involved both Viator and the Tour operator to voice my concerns about the weather and the tour operator agreed with me and told me to have Viator send over the cancelation request and he'd approve it. Well, Viator decided that Weather and Safety of customers don't concern them as much as $140 tour cost does. So, I say this Viator, Shame on You!! This is a boat tour and there was verifiable Typhoon Type Weather conditions present and your Refund Policy is printed clearly that the weather has to be good for the tour to occur, or a rescheduling or a total refund will occur. It didn't happen here and for that, everyone who wants to use your company should know that you don't honor your refund policy and choose Profit over Customer Safety. It's not the cost of the tour ($140USD) it's the principal that the dangerous weather conditions were present and the tour operator had said that he would approve the cancelation, and you declined to issue one. I will never use your company again and I urge others who prioritize their Safety to find another tour company to use. One that puts your Safety ahead of their Profits!!! Shame on you Viator, Greed clearly controls your Compass. Sincerely, James OlsonWritten 9 December 2024
- yullyl20240 contributionsMust try experience in Bali!Lovely snorkelling experience, even for first timers! Guides were really helpful and attentive, sea was great with loads of fishes and corals. Our driver, Ketut was on time, friendly and helpful! Waterfall is beautiful as well, loads of tourists so a little tricky to get the perfect shot but worth to go nonetheless Super fun experience to try when you’re in Bali! p.s it’s ok if you don’t have a swimsuit to snorkel p.p.s if you have motion sickness, highly recommend to take medicine before you goWritten 6 December 2024

- rochellel7010 contributionsFabulous silver jewellery experienceWe had a wonderful experience today at Sri Rahayu Silver. We were shown the basics of silver jewellery making and got to make our own rings with the guidance of our hosts. They were lovely, welcoming us to their home and workshop. - S2570LKerinb0 contributionsBest part of our tripThis was without a doubt the best thing we did while in Bali. The entire day was amazing and our guide was the best. Quad biking is great for all ages, we went with 21-55 year olds and all absolutely loved it. This one in particular is meant to be very good as we went with a small group of 5 people and only ran into one other group during the ride (apparently other companies can do very large groups and share the track with others so it can get very crowded). The waterfall was great but a bit crowded and included a walk down and back up some stairs. The monkeys were very cool and interesting. Definitely would recommend to anyone and honestly would have done the quad biking again if we had time.Written 1 December 2024
- bichthuha950 contributionsThe best tour everI highly recommend this tour to any travelers. We had nothing to complaints but to enjoy the whole tour with beautiful views, nice photos, great food, and kind tour guides. We had Agus as our tour guide for Nusa Penida day and Aris for Ubud Tour day. They are both locals and knowledgeable. I will definitely have them again when we come back to visit Bali near future!Written 29 November 2024

We booked the one day tirp via Agoda. It was our first time visiting Bali so we didn't know what to expect but we had a great day at the beach. Candra was very helpful to us, driving to and from the harbor to our villa, even helping us get the tickets and waiting with us. He picked us up at our villa at 6:45 in the morning and drove us to the harbor which took about 40 minutes. The speedboat was quite big and all the seats were fillled. The boat ride was about an hour and when we got to Nusa Penida, there was another driver waiting for us and he drove us around to all the places on the island. He was also very nice and offered to take our pictures.
It started raining on our way to the first destination which was Broken Beach, but luckily the rain stopped once we got there. We got there around 10 a.m. but there was already a lot of people around the area which was to be expected at a tourist attraction. The view was really nice and there were a lot of spots to take photos. After taking a few photos, we decided not to spend too much time there and moved to another location. The roads were quite narrow and bumpy throughout the ride. The next stop was Kelingking beach and it was breathtaking. There was a photo spot built on a platform that you can go to take photos for 5000 idr. We wanted to go down to the beach but there was a time concern and it started raining so we went to get lunch which was included in the package. The driver drove to us a restaurant where we could pick one meal and a drink (either water or ice tea). We can also pay extra to order anything else we wanted and we got grilled chicken with chili which was really delicious. From there, we just decided to go to Crystal Bay so that we can swim and relax at the beach. We rented 2 sun beds and towels for 150,000 idr. We couldn't find any toilet or a place to change after the swim and others were also just changing on the beach so I'm not sure if there's a place or not. That was like the only inconvenience. We got to spend about 2 hours on Crystal Bay before it was time to go back to the meet up point to take the boat back. We got back to the harbor around 5pm and our driver from the morning was waiting for us and drove us back to the hotel. All in all, I would recommend this tour for first timers like us or anyone who don't really like planning everything by themselves. You get to visit different places and also without having to worry about tickets or driving.

Nusa Penida full day tour was spectacular!! We booked through Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking. They picked us up from our accommodation in Seminyak at 6.30am. Our driver Putu was so lovely and organised...he knew the best place to park at the very busy Sanur harbour, he raced around organising our tickets and guiding us to our boat. When we arrived on the Island we met our driver Nengah...what a team Putu and Nenhah were!! We had a great day with them. First we went snorkelling (3 different locations which were all very different). Then we did a tour of the island. Nengah was a great driver and a more impressive photographer...he was so funny in moving all the other tourists out of the way at each spot so we could get a great family photo. I highly recommend booking with Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking for this tour and any other tours/transfers in Bali..they can organise most things for you and are excellent at what they do. Thank you Gede, Putu, Nengah for making our time in Bali so wonderful.

Our driver Wayan picked us up from our hotel in a lovely car and navigated the busy traffic and tiny windy roads with ease. He was very friendly, with great English, and professional and helped us to find our way to the fast boat for a wonderful but quite bumpy trip to the island. Heads up it is still a wade out to the fast boat, while they build the new jetty, so shorts and thongs are the go. Our second driver was also really friendly and made great conversation while he negotiated the bumpy roads of Nusa Penida. The island was busy with tourists and having a wonderful guide made getting the perfect photos easy - he knew all the best spots and took some wonderful photos for us. Our included lunch was very nice with a wonderful view.
I would not want to have tried to get to all these places without a guide, as the roads were windy and treacherous. For our return trip, we asked to come back on an earlier boat as the weather was not great, and we had no trouble changing to another boat company. They did keep us waiting for an hour after the advertised departure time, as they made us change from one boat to another until the second boat was full. I am sure this was because of rough weather, and not the fault of Bali Natural Tours. Getting back off the fast boat in rough weather was a bit tricky as we had to jump off into water that was waist deep.
Would recommend Bali Natural Tours for friendly, professional and fun tours.

Overall, this tour was just okay. What you’re paying for isn’t a guided tour as much as someone to take care of the logistical headaches/navigation at the two ferry terminals and in navigating between the beaches. Honestly, I found this to be well executed (including hotel pickup). I also appreciated being in comfortable cars with safe drivers and air conditioning.
However, overall, I was not that impressed with Nusa Penida. The four beaches we went to were veryyyyy crowded with tourists and long lines to take pictures. Also three of them are rocky cliffs. The fourth had such strong waves/riptide that we ended up not being able to get in the water (eg-grown men were being crashed down by them).
Our driver on Bali (Candra) was prompt, communicative over WhatsApp and made sure we got to the boat on time (the ferry terminal was pretty hectic and poorly marked).
Our Nusa Penida driver (Thantra?) was also a safe driver, but not a great guide. He took some pictures when asked, but was otherwise a bit lazy and didn’t share any information about the islands or beaches we were visiting.
Overall, (and I know this is a controversial opinion lol), I might recommend skipping Nisa Penida. Or, if you really want to visit it, maybe find a different tour company or go in prepared for it to be nothing more than logistical help/safe car rides.

We read the reviews well before booking because several different sites offered this tour. What was our disappointment during the tour in question ..
We are picked up at 6am by a very nice Guide, with whom we were able to talk a little, full of energy for such a good hour.
The explanations for the boat were clear
Disaster occurs on arrival. The following Guide speaks almost no English, the car does not have air conditioning. The journey is made, certainly in music, but 0 conversations with the Guide.
When arriving at the spots, the Guide walks alone in front, explains nothing, does not even explain the route before going for a walk, and goes to wait and smoke with his friends.
I am not talking about the lunch restaurant (well 10:30) which is horribly noted.
We paid an extra €20 on this activity, to end up having to choose a poor quality dish reheated the day before to 40k IDR (about €2) and water for a fee.
Toilets are paid from everywhere, and in the restaurant, well it is a Turkish toilet, without tap to wash hands ..
The crystal beach place is nice, but you can not put your towel down (no room and 0 shade). It is necessary to rent deckchairs (100k per deckchair).
Same for tables for drinking, the time is timed according to the drink/food.
No boat leaves before 14:30 from the port so we had to wait 2h at Crystal beach. Swimming at this time is quite dangerous for your health so the timing is just bad.
The return with the Morning Guide went very well, he even accepted a small culinary detour.
In short, a star for the effort to have risen early + the kindness of the first Kadek Guide.
I do not recommend this tour, or in this case, ask for the correct Guide (even if a self-driving scooter tour is a thousand times cheaper)

Most of the Nusa penida tours seem to run on the same route however this tour was more expensive that others despite providing suboptimal service.
Payment was taken for the tour on a date in which they were not even running the service prompting a last minute rebooking.
Our driver also did not seem to make efforts to try to find us when we arrived in Nusa penida and we were left waiting for than 30 minutes when all other tourist manage to find their guides within 5-10minutes of arrival.
The rest of the tour was as advertised. It is a private tour which allows flexibility in itinerary.

We booked the Nusa Penida One Day Trip with All-Inclusive through Trip Advisor. Although our hotel in Sanur was not listed as a pick up location on the page, our very friendly driver Gusti Rasnayasa picked us up perfectly on time at our hotel and brought us to Sanur Harbour. From Sanur Harbour, we took a speed boat to Nusa Penida where our driver Sandi was already waiting for us. He took us to all the main sights on the island (Kelingking beach, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Beach). Our driver was also a great photographer and took lots of pictures of us. We especially enjoyed swimming at Crystal Beach and we even saw a turtle and dolphins close to Broken Beach. Overall the trip was perfectly organized and we would recommend booking the One Day trip for a great time on Nusa Penida!

Not worth the money paid. Whilst our driver that picked us up was lovely and even played music for us, the driver on the island was far more disappointing. Whilst all the other tour guides were enthusiastically taking photos and showing the their group around, ours was just sitting at each location doing nothing except the first where he made a slight effort for photos. Each time we had to ask him if we wanted our photos taken. When we stopped for lunch on the way, every single driver dropped their group off at the restaurant entrance in the pouring rain so they wouldn’t get wet but no, not ours. Our entire tour was ruined by the driver that we had been allocated who also tried scamming 300,000 IDR from us for snorkeling. When we asked him three times if it was included or not before booking and each time he said yes it’s included only for him to go and book it and demand the money from us despite telling him to cancel since he never told us the amount. His excuse, my English isn’t good “I meant the snorkeling equipment was included not the snorkeling” very convenient, not sure why it said English speaking driver. Eventually after much back and forth, he refunded the cash payment. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Had a great time, both our drivers (to Nusa penida and on Nusa Penida) were amazing giving us tips and informative information. Our driver on Nusa Penida actually lined up for us in good places to take pictures as it was quite busy and took us to a good place for breakfast.
Definitely recommend, no complaints.

Dec 2024 • Friends
The travel time from Kuta to Sanur Port is 30-45 minutes, and from Sanur Port to Nusa Penida Port is 45 minutes. The trip was okay, but there were big waves. Once we arrived at the port, we were asked to wait for our tour guide/driver, who informed us that our first activity was snorkeling at three different locations: Gamat Bay, The Wall, and another spot close to the port where you can see sea turtles. The current was strong, so my friend and I skipped the last site. The beach could have been beautiful if not for the plastic rubbish everywhere. The marine life, however, is gorgeous.
After roughly two hours, we had to wait again until our tour guide asked us to ride the van/car and head to our early lunch, about 40 minutes away, at a nice restaurant with beautiful views of the scenery and landscape. The food was great, especially the Ayam Betutu, Chapay, and Tempe. After lunch, we headed to Kelingking Beach, which is 15 minutes away. It was gorgeous, with shops and restaurants lined up and an awesome view. According to our guide/driver, people can go down to the beach, but it would take an hour to go down and back, so we skipped it as the trail is narrow and steep.
Then we went to two more beach sites, Angel Billabong and Broken Beach. Unfortunately, they are not swimmable, but they are gorgeous and great for photo ops. We were asked if we wanted to go to Crystal Beach or elsewhere, but we opted to go back to the port as it started to rain. Overall, the experience was great, but it's sad that Bali is like a trash site now. I don't know if it's because of the monsoon season, but there is a lot of rubbish. I still recommend visiting at least once, considering the ocean is great for surfers, and the friendly Balinese people are something special. However, I would say that Koh Samui, Phi Phi, Boracay, Palawan, Siargao, Panglao, or Bantayan Islands are simply gorgeous and "viewtiful."
Make sure to book your tour packages here or through other activity sites/apps for cheap rates and deals. Our package for two cost only 125$ which includes transportations (land&sea), entrance fees, lunch buffet, bottled water. Subscribe to my YouTube channel as well at Yeye Kasilag. Thanks and safe travels, Gorgeous 😘
