About
Udaipur also knows as ‘the city of lakes,’ is one of the most picturesque destinations for any travel enthusiast. It is a fantastic mix of the natural beauty of the lakes and the polished panache of its regal heritage – represented by magnificent forts.
City Palace in Udaipur is the largest palace complex of the state. It stands magnificently on the eastern banks of Lake Pichola. Flanked by the Aravali mountain range, City Palace is worth admiring for its natural settings that offer a breathtaking view of the surroundings.
Another impressive structure is Jag Mandir that occupies the island with the same name.
Bagore Ki Haveli is a haveli that stands magnificently on the waterfront of the surreal Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime minister of Mewar kingdom, Bagore Ki Haveli has been restored over the period of time and is now converted into a museum.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- easytraveler20190 contributionsLovely place to see.I gave it 4 out of 5, due to that when we got to the waterfalls you had a difficult job to get to the water. Way,way, way too many people there. You could not sit for long. Needs to be less people taken up there at a time.Written 15 January 2025
- Global6708210 contributionsA great day trip.A fabulous trip, we did the private transport option and had a very nice driver Sanjay who collected us and drove us first to the jeep safari and waterfall experience, and then on to the spice plantation. The waterfall is stunning- would recommend wearing trainers as there’s a bit of climbing about on rocks and change of clothes if you are going to take a swim there. The guide at spice plantation was really informative and tour wasn’t too long, we found it really interesting. Tip- don’t buy bananas to feed the monkeys when you are waiting for your jeep - they shouldn’t be fed.Written 15 January 2025
- Hazard57210 contributionsUSA Family of 4 - Good time, do it, Bring a Swim Suitamazing, bring a swim suit and Swim under the Falls, yes do it! The walk over rocks to the falls is not easy, bring Crocs or good hiking shoes that can get wet.Written 1 January 2025
- shilpasunthankar0 contributionsGreat Sites, But Questionable Tour CompanyOverall, the sites on the tour were amazing, and the lunch at the plantation far more than expected. As far as the tour company, the driver was late, and then when he had arrived, it turns out he had been given the wrong location and that was more then an hour away. So by the time he got to us, it was 2 hours later for us to start. This pretty much shifted our entire day then. Any concerns or questions sent to my original tour company contact went unanswered. When we finally started the tour, everything seemed rushed, and the tour guide didn't seem to know which sites we were going to, so we had to make sure to hit the ones that were important to us. The guide did a good job of not rushing my aging mother, and making accommodations for her needing a cane, which was considerate of him. Overall great sites, but I wonder if another company would've helped folks tour them better.Written 25 December 2024
- elinak9590 contributionsNice trip in beautiful surroundingsAlthough it was a bit off season for butterflies, it was still a lovely visit at the sanctuary. Both the owner and the guide were welcoming and gave us a nice tour. The place was peaceful and beautiful. The spice farm was nice as well and the guide gave us a tour and told us lots of interesting things. The chauffeur, on the other hand, seemed to be new. He drove an unnecessary crowded route and didn't seem to know which ways were the best during different times of the day. He also seemed a bit stressed and took some unnecessary risks in traffic. Altogether, a nice and pleasant trip.Written 15 December 2024
- Y560BSandrewm0 contributionsDay tour of GoaFabulous day out with Stanley our guide and Raju the driver. Stanley's knowledge of Goa was exceptional, some great sights and wonderful lunch at a spice plantation Would definitely recommendWritten 7 December 2024
- manjitkb20190 contributionsNot what it promised! It's just a taxi service! This tour promised a lot on paper, however it fell very short on what it delivered and didn't meet our expectation! We were picked up from our hotel by a friendly driver who was simply that..the driver. He had no itinerary! There was no guide nor a leaflet provided giving information on the places we were visiting. We visited one church , given directions to walk to the next stop Fountanais, and then back to meet the driver where he dropped us off! Then only one stop (as the next two stops were closed )at a Temple, before visiting the Spice Plantation and lunch, which we did enjoy. I would NOT recommend this tour as I could simply have booked my own taxi at far less cost and told the driver where to take us! I have given it 1/5 and that is for the friendly driver.Written 21 November 2024
- 848faiqas0 contributionsS GoaWe had a nice tour of south Goa and saw some beautiful places including churches, temples and even a mosques. The visit to the spice plantation was very informative and topped off with some very delicious food at the end! Our tour guide Ms. was very knowledgeable and a great guide. She went above and beyond to explain the history of places we saw and and to answer our questions. She also got us some extra delicacies than were not on the menu at the plantation. I also liked the fact that we were not pushed to buy things but rather left at our own will to buy or not to buy.. Overall an enjoyable day!!Written 17 November 2024
- Jacekrob0 contributionsGreat day out- not to be missedPick up on time- very friendly & helpful staff. Amazing day out for little money. Nice lunch on plantation. Wonderful waterfall- pleasant jeep 10km drive with nice views.Written 15 November 2024

- A8365PZhanak0 contributionsDudhsagar FallsThe jeep safaris were still not open. We walked. It took ages (22 km) and lot of sweat, but was worth it. There is a refreshment place along the pathWritten 4 November 2024
- munuevojane0 contributionsDo not book this. It’s not private tour. Please read the details in the photo carefully. Don’t be victims like us. This is not a private tour. Paul John does not offer private tours. The package this tour offers is a 750-rupee group tour from Paul John. They only arrange a taxi to take you from your accommodation to the distillery and back. This travel agency falsely markets a taxi service as a private tour.Written 28 October 2024
- Alanfavellackey0 contributionsWonderful day in jaisalmerSanjay was a really wonderful host. The car was new, great aircon. Very relaxed vibe. The Jaisalmer Fort and local town is gorgeous. Loved the catfish and cows. Quite spectacular architecture. Found a local Barista for espresso (sorely missed and greatly appreciated), the silks are a 1/3 of the price compared to government delhi shops. More variety too e.g. lotus silk for vegans. We loved the roodtop view at sunset cafe. Great value and food. The sunset was nice in the Thar desert but probably would skip personaly as not interested in quad bike joy riding and it was awkwardly touristica trap, it was also filled with garbage, I wish I brought a bag and picked some of it up 😥Written 26 September 2024
- ashleyvC9778VN0 contributionsGreat DealThe waterfall is beautiful but difficult to get to so I would not recommend for those with mobility issues. The Spice Farm serves lunchWritten 4 May 2024
- KurtV4970 contributionsCancellation day before for no valid reasonThey cancelled the trip last minute due to weather conditions. I luckily managed to book a similar trip with another organisation and had a great day. It was warm but not to the extent it justified cancellation of the trip.Written 23 April 2024
