The moment I saw my name on a sign held by Mr. Firoz at the Udaipur airport, I knew I was in good hands. And a thorough tour of the City Palace, lunch at a calm and tasty restaurant near the Jagdish Temple, excursion to Saheliyon ki bari, a showcase of a local artist, scooter excursion into the local market, and coordinated door-to-door transportation in an immaculate SUV proved Mr. Firoz’s 18 years of experience has accumulated into a fantastic tour experience. I especially liked how Mr. Firoz tied together his tour, specifically the significant of Tripoliya Gate, the theme of three (3), and alignment of various viewpoints within the palace with the gate. Mr. Firoz checked in with me consistently prior to my tour. Enough for me to get important information, but I neither felt bombarded nor annoyed. Despite a one day gap between my airport pickup and my tour, Mr. Firoz went above and beyond and offered to explore during the day between. I valued Mr. Firoz’s respectful assertiveness when purchasing tickets and navigating crowds. I am personally accustom to different queueing practices, and I feel uncomfortable asserting myself. Mr. Firoz led the way, making me feel like a VIP. While enjoying some Chai Masala at the end of the tour, I casually mention that I’m interested in purchasing some spices. Then, Mr. Firoz stepped away for a moment, as I thought he was courteously creating distance to enjoy a cigarette, but to my surprise, he returned with a soccer, and we rode into the markets straight the spices I wanted. I had never ridden a scooter before! It was a delightful addition. Mr. Firoz told me that in Udaipur and in India, anything is possible. I think he is only partially correct. Anything is possible in India WITH Mr. Firoz. I had the incredible privilege of experiencing Mr. Firoz by booking a tour with an operator. If you’re reading this review, this is for Mr. Firoz directly. I strongly advise for you to move Mr. Firoz to the top of your list for Udaipur, Jaipur, and Rajasthan tour considerations. He maintains an official tour guide license (I saw it on his lanyard). For my first trip to India, I stuck with a more touristy route. Mr. Firoz, however, mentioned an alternative Rajasthan tour I could do with him, and I am extremely tempted! I easily understood Mr. Firoz, for his English well exceeds average multi-lingual people in India. I felt Mr. Firoz made the tour my own, so I encourage you to mention your thoughts, ideas, concerns, and questions to Mr. Firoz. He helped explain pricing for some spices, so I was able to a get a good deal. Thank you Mr. Firoz for your integral role in my fabulous first time in India!

Firoz was an excellent guide. I a temporarily disabled due to knee surgeries, he was amazing at helping us navigate the City palace. His knowledge, ability to communicate in English with my daughter was impeccable. Cherry on the top is that he is a great photographer as well. He found spots that drew a line from others...strongly recommend his services

I could not fault anything, from collection of tickets to venues and general help with shopping, currency, even collection of paracetamol from pharmacy no task was too big. Firoz was an incredible tour guide for the half day we spent exploring Udaipur with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the city; we particularly enjoyed the city palace tour where he took us through the history of the royal family and pointed out a number of different features and characteristics around the palace. He also took us to a number of non-touristy districts to show us the ‘real India’ and ended with the monsoon palace for sunset where he gave us the full set tour of the Bond film!
