This tour was beautifully organized from beginning to end. All transfers were smoothly coordinated and all bookings made for us. We were pleased to discover that we would be conducted personally, and were not in a group with others. Our tour guide Kiran Rai was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. We cannot praise enough our driver Suren who drove faultlessly over some quite challenging roads. The hotel accommodations were exceptional. One small problem was the Peerless Hotel in Kolkata for our last night. We were assigned to an annex, which was adequate, but we had faulty TV service and poor WiFi. Only one restaurant was open, and it didn't start service until 7:30. After the wonderful service from the Elgin chain we were disappointed that the Peerless could not match this standard.

Everything went very well, from drivers to guides, very prepared and professional people. We have never had a setback and we have been well assisted!

This is the second trip we have organised with the help of Apollo Voyages in Delhi. With 5 years between them. It was just as brilliantly organised as our first trip to India (which was a family of 10 on a Rajasthan road trip!). Airports, hotels, taxi services, train station drop off, hotel bookings. All went brilliantly and easily. We spent a week in Kolkata, and a week in Varanasi. Apollo's agents met us at the airport, took us to our hotel, took us on one day trip from each venue, and were always 100% punctual, helpful, reliable, friendly, and courteous. We like to discover cities by ourselves so we have them help us with the infrastructure and broad planning, rather than daily planning, and they are brilliant!! I would highly recommend their services. Again and again! And again.

We have just used this travel agent for a customized trip in Kolkata. They returned our online request very promptly. I was so worried about whether it is a trusted travel company or not. We heard a lot about the scams in a foreign country. It turned out that we have a great experience with the tour guide and the driver booked through Apollo Voyages. They were very professional. Even though its head office is in Delhi, but we get the personal service from Muthu from Delhi & it’s Kolkata’s office also. They are a travel tour company a person can count on.

Got a life time memory as we could visit places like Taj Mahal,Mathura sreekrishna temple,Lotus palace, Akshardham temple, India gate, parliament house......etc.It was a 4 days trip with proper planning to cover many most important places in the scheduled time. All credit goes to Apollo voyages.

I have to say that my family has a very good time in India. This is the first time for me to use service from Apollo Voyage and I have to say that it very fantastic.

I was a member of a party of four, wishing to transfer from the airport to Candolim. We each had a large suitcase as well as hand luggage. With that in mind ( through Travel Republic) I booked a minibus for five people and paid extra for the privilege. What Hoppa provided was a saloon car which was totally inadequate. As a result we took the TUI bus and finished up being the last hotel on the journey, which is what we wanted to avoid in the first place. Through Travel Republic, I asked for a refund for the inward journey. Hoppa's reply (via Travel Republic) was that in the small print if they cannot provide the requested vehicle but provide something similar which will do the job, then a refund is not appropriate. I contacted TR again pointing out that the vehicle provided was not only inadequate but had we been squeezed in there would have been serious health and safety issues with the vehicle being overweight. Hoppa's reply was exactly the same and the refund was refused. I chose Hoppa because it was on the list provided by Travel Republic. I can't help thinking that perhaps Travel Republic could have done more to persuade Hoppa to change their mind. In future, I shall avoid Travel Republic and on my return to Goa next year, I will choose any transfer provider other than Hoppa. . As a rider, it was only when the incident occurred that one of my companions mentioned that she had experienced problems with Hoppa before, albeit in Sri Lanka. A a result of the failure in the inward journey, I cancelled the return journey via Travel Republic. I received an automated response saying my amendment had been accepted. Whilst we were waiting for the TUI bus, a minibus arrived supplied by Hoppa. Given that I already knew the refund had been refused, and that my cancellation had not been effected, It would have still cost me, had I refused to use it. We therefore took the minibus. The journey was satisfactory and no more. After all it was a simple transfer. For me both Travel Republic and Hoppa need to sort themselves out.

Just back from our trip and this is one of the side tours that is still fresh in my memory. We participated in a Hindu ceremony at the lake and received our "Pushkar Passport" . We were not hassled at all during our stay. An enjoyable experince.

Was there on the 19 Dec 14 and ended on 27 Dec 14 .Apollo need to check out the hotels and not to go by website photos as they can be misleading like kumarakom lagoon and eleteria resort which was a disaster. Our driver (Soman) the driver attached to us was always talking about tips and drives us to certain shops selling handicrafts which were very expensive. He is also long winded ( always on tips) and gives you a bad image of kerela drivers. Always talking bad of how he is treated by hotel staff and restaurant staff. Says that the tourists usually invite him for lunch and dinner which we did. This guy needs to be taught proper manners and the way to take care of tourists.
