An extraordinary experience which was very well organised
.Uka, my driver brought me first by jeep to Kuldhara, an a banded village. The next stop was the Jassery oasis where some women and children danced by the waterside. A magical experience. Next and final stop was a short visit to Khabarovsk Fort, which was really in the middle of nowhere. One hour later we arrived at the spot where the camel driver was waiting for us. My camel was a bit irritated at first but fortunately his driver kept him under control so I could enjoy the ride. It was a rather uncomfortable drive, at least if you are not used to it, but one hour later we arrived at our overnight camp in the Thar desert, on top of some lovely sand dunes. It turned out to be the perfect spot to watch the sun setting whilst my dinner was being freshly cooked on a bonfire and I was enjoying a cold Kingfisher they had brought for me. What a lovely evening and with it being full moon there was plenty of light to see the surroundings but also the starts. My bed had been prepared with fresh bedding on top of a sanddune. The view over the desert was simply breathtaking and that. Night I went to bed with an enourmous smile in my face. Next morning I was woken up by Uka who was bringing me a cup of tea. Another moment I will never forget, the sun was already set and magical colours filled the air. After breakfast we returned for the 2 hour drive back to the hotel. The safari was a big success, everything was perfectly organised, food plenty and tasty. The best without doubt was sleeping over I under the stars. Magic pure magic. I can highly rec this extraordinary experience

        A must-do safari in Jaisalmer
This was one the best experiences I've had in my life. The safari takes you to the most exotic place in the middle of the desert. The organizers were very friendly and helpful. The safari was smooth and the necessities were arranged properly. The food was amazing. You should feel free to ask them for whatever you need. Definitely a must-do if you plan to Jaisalmer

Really nice adventure experience with ovenight stay in the desert
I booked this trip for my daughter (29), her friend (20) and myself. As we stayed in Rajwada Fort outside the city it wasn't clear if the organizer will pick us up from there. But three hours before the trip the informed us that they'll pick us up and bring us to the meeting point. Everything went well. At the meeting point (hotel) we were invited to visit their roof top restaurant to have something to eat or drink. I think it's ok if the organizer tries to have a bit more business. So we went there and had coffee and chai. All was nice. Including us the group was 5 people (we three from Germany plus 2 Students from Germany). With the Mahindra off-road vehicle we startet the trip. I sat in front on the passenger seat, the other 4 on the back of the off-road vehicle. In the back there we're two seating benches - it wasn't too spacious, but ok for the 4 students. If you're older it might me a bit uncomfortable. But a strong off-road vehicle was needed absolutely, because we went up the dunes, which wouldn't have been possible with a normal SUV or something similar. So if you want real adventure, you need the off-road vehicle. To the place where we planned to sped the night we had a 45 minutes camel ride. Everyone had it's own camel. Also that was great. The night was real adventure, too. As we wanted to have a kind of bed and not sleep on the sand, we chose the right trip. We got quite good bed, good mattresses, warm blankets. As in February the nights are still quite cold, we received even two blankets. Without the second one have been really cold. Before going to bed we had a well tasting Indian dinner prepared on the fire. Same with breakfast. Overall we would recommend this tour to all who want to have some adventure. Such tips are also offered without staying over night, but if you don't mind a bit of sand in your ears and nose and you love nature, you should try out this trip. Our guide Oka was great, too. The only reason why we don't give 5 points is because it would have been good to here something about the photo stops. But overall trip was great.

This was an amazing and unique experience. The views in the desert were unbelievably beautiful and sleeping under the stars was amazing. Our guides Ukka and Dinesh were so friendly and kind. Great time in a desert
Our guides were very attentive and friendly. Big plus was that we were able to shower before and after the safari. Everybody was very helpful. Even when kitchen was closed they made us sandwiches and borrowed scarfs for safari. Experience on camels and in desert was great. We stopped at few places on the way. Good food cooked by local. Highly recommend them.

        The highlight of our Trip..!
We started our journey at 2pm with a relaxing 1,5h Jeep ride into the desert. On the way we stopped at a lonely town and a water place. We then did a 1,5h camel safari which ended on a nicely located dune where we enjoyed a remarkable sunset, good thali and slept under the stars. Amazing experience, thank you so much and highly recommend..!

A memorable experience with lovely people
What a fabulous trip this was, exactly the experience we wanted, Ukka and Dennis looked after us so well in the dunes, my camel , Johnnie was a good ride, we watched dinner being made, which was fab and watched the sun go down and come up. I even managed an early morning run in the desert. The stars were stunning. Ukka took us to his village on the way back to Jaisalmer where we met his family and had Chai, a really nice touch A memorable trip, highly recommended

Great option if you're looking for a truly outdoorsy experience
Unique experience. No camp, just out in the open in the dunes. Well organized and safe. Just be mindful that you will not have access to any utilities or facilities for a whole evening and night.

A truly transformative desert experience we will cherish forever.
This is one of the most transformative experiences we've ever had in our travel life. We booked our overnight camping towards the end of November 2023. My wife and I were the only people on this overnight desert stay, and we were quite apprehensive about our safety out in the wilderness. However, the people that took us on this expedition made us extremely comfortable and at ease as soon as we met them. Durjan Singh, a very polite and well-mannered gentleman took care of the overall journey and stay. He drove us to the location from where we had to take our camel ride, and along the way, showed us some desert sights. The more we interacted with him, the more we started trusting him with our safety. Our cameleer was another gentle and exciting person named Santosh, who was a person we could talk to for hours. Both of us were given a camel each. Both Durjan and Santosh are local villagers and their stories and experiences are so unique and thought-provoking. The dunes they took us to was serene and untouched. We did not see a single person anywhere along that path or our desert stay. The dunes were neat, our cots and blankets were neat, our food was freshly prepared. I do not want to talk about the magnificence of the experience as words are inadequate to describe it. The night was starry, the desert seemed like a dreamy, strange place at first, but as hours passed by during the night, the desert grew into us. We did not want the night to end. We were provided a healthy and freshly prepared breakfast. The way back was via the same route on the camel, but felt a lot different in the morning. The desert landscape adorned with mighty windmills and cacti is a sight to behold. We felt we had become part of the desert, and as we approached the place from where we had to get down from our camels and board the jeep, we felt a pain in our heart, almost as if we left a part of our hearts and minds back in the beautiful desert, entrusted with our caring and responsible guardians, Durjan Singh and Santosh Bhai. This is a trip worth taking, unless you have some serious health conditions. Do not expect luxury. You are going to sleep under the open sky. Carry basic toiletries with you for emergency. There was no one around, and the people that took us slept a little away from us, giving us ample privacy. We faced no safety concerns. Highly recommended.

        Remote trip to beautiful dunes
We wanted to do a trip into the dunes that meant we were going to isolated, away from people but with proper nice dunes. It is probably the key ingredient is nice dunes. The place pleasant haveli has chosen is perfect. Huge dunes in the middle of nowhere, nature as far as the eye can see. Of course you want a great team looking after you too and again pleasant haveli was a winner. Our team consisted of Uka, Denis and Puna. They had everything working like clockwork. You read a lot about best experience.... But it really was a super experience.

Good Visit and A Different Experience
It was a new and relativity different experience. Guy who was trying his best to make us comfortable ( Durjan Singh) was really well aware with his work and role. I knew that people are probably over amplifying the description but lack of washroom facility and none of activities other than camel ride and self photography, were the main reason that I was thinking about it. Even they mentioned it well before too while description but this is something was a minimum expected from my side. Overall it was a different experience and a new one too which was thrilling. I can certainly be considering it in next visit as now have better clarity what's there or what's not.

Couple of stops enroute to the camel ride and desert experience. Camel ride was good - camel’s looked well cared for. Desert sunset was great and camp fire food delicious. We opted to take a couple of beers with us (arranged with the tour co) which we enjoyed whilst watching the sunset. Enjoyable trip. Long drive back.

Excellent trip, can't recommend it highly enough. Everyone we met was so welcoming and our driver Kabil was excellent, both personally and in terms of driving safely/knowing the complex route out of the route. The camel riding was a lot of fun and the meal around the campfire was very tasty. Everyone ensured we had enough to eat and was constantly topping up our plates. Really lovely group of people and wonderful experience.

Me and my partner did this sunset safari with Pleasant Haveli and highly highly recommend! We were able to enjoy the same experience as the overnight safari but were still able to come back to the hotel at night and sleep and shower. They let us choose whichever time we would like to leave the desert so there wasn’t any pressure to rush off, despite the fairly long drive back to Pleasant Haveli. Our guides were fantastic (I’m so sorry but I’ve totally forgotten their names as we did this about a month ago!) and we laughed, joked, sung and ate with them. They were so friendly and accommodating and just genuinely want to make sure you are enjoying your time. The camels seem well cared-for, the dinner was delicious and the view of the stars at around 9pm was absolutely beautiful! They made sure they took us to a proper sand dune (sometimes the dunes other companies take you to aren’t so great) and the sunset views were breathtaking.

Only thing I would suggest to people booking this is that you bring some tip money. A young child came with us to take the camels back once we had got to the dunes (you take camels into desert and jeep back out), we only brought a small amount of money with us and he held his hand out asking for tip before he left so it’s clear it was expected. We then had no money left to tip the tour guides which was a shame, so bring some change, it’s worth the tip!

Out of 1 month spent travelling India this was the best thing we experienced and I could not recommend it enough.

This was such an excellent sunset safari tour! Our guide took us out of a very non touristy area and shows us local villages along the way in the jeep.
Arun was our guide, he was very friendly and experienced. Cam and Sambu led us on the camels and then the 3 men cooked us a delicious dinner under the stars in the dunes.
      Would recommend!
