About the operator

- carabX5440LP0 contributionsGreat tourVignesh was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and provided in-depth answers to all of our questions.Written 11 February 2025
- clarenicheall0 contributionsA Must Do Experience.I could not recommend this tour more! If you are a food-lover, you must book. Jai was very kind, knowledgeable and good company. He showed us the flower market, fruit and veg wholesalers and then we got the Metro to have many tasty treats at a street food market. Honestly it was like eating 3 different delicious dinners - so many delicacies!Written 11 February 2025
- Ines G0 contributionsBangalore in a dayI had a very diverse and interesting city tour with the very knowledgeable guide Divarkar. His good spirits and humor made the day fly by. I personally would suggest to include the Botanical Garden only after monsoon season. During dry season it’s a bit …guess what …dry and not too much blossoming.Written 11 February 2025

- Vladimir B0 contributionsFantastic Bengaluru Tour with an Amazing GuideI had a fantastic experience on this daily tour of Bengaluru! Our guide, Diwakar, was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day truly enjoyable. We visited Bengaluru Palace, Vidhana Soudha, ISKCON Temple, and Sri Big Bull Temple, covering a lot of amazing places in just one day. The highlight for me was the incredible traditional lunch served on banana leaves—such a unique and delicious experience! The visit to the local market was also a great way to immerse in the city’s vibrant culture. This tour is a great way to see a lot in a short time, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bengaluru!Written 9 February 2025
- Aaron86LM0 contributionsTemples, Parks, and More in BangaloreI really enjoyed my Bangalore city tour with Vignesh. He was always willing to answer our questions and be helpful and I learned a lot about the sites and culture of this area.Written 9 February 2025
- Travel4457670 contributionsGood information on templesFor me about 4.6-4.7 star, mainly because of the price. Definitely on the expensive side for India. Dawikar‘s English was good, so we could have a decent conversation. I‘m very nervous when it comes to food, because of bad experiences in the past. But the lunch place was clean and my stomach is still doing ok a day later. Due to the nature of the city, it involves quite a bit of driving. FYI, one cannot enter the parliament building. The botanical garden and the palace you could do on your own. The palace is done with a audio tour. The information on the two temples however was very good, and made the difference.Written 7 February 2025

- Marisenmarie0 contributionsI learned a lot about Bengaluru and India. I met some interesting people during the day. I would definitely recommendDivatar was knowledgeable and if he did not know an answer he did not make one up. I had a few special requests and did them all. The tour exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed Divatar's company for the day. I got to eat some tasty food with my fingers and NOT get yelled at, lol.Written 27 January 2025

This tour requires some driving time. The highlight for me was the silk pod market. It is a fascinating place and learning how the pods are sold was very interesting. From there we visited a toy factory. That was somewhat interesting and may have been made better if more in the history or significance of the place was shared. The toy store we stopped at had a lot of variety. We also went to a recreation of historic times and villages where artifacts and relics were housed. This was okay and was made a little confounding by having a grounds person, perhaps docent follow us through. He was speaking over the guide and was hard to understand. The place was still under some construction but it was not obtrusive. There was some signage in English that provided historical perspective and that could have been enhanced. Our lunch stop was excellent. We ate with our hand off a banana leaf in traditional fashion. Final stop was the 400+ year old banyan tree. Some historical background on the tree would have been more interesting than pointing out the obvious way in which the tree grows and expands. More about the tree origins in India would have been of interest. My guide Vignesh spoke excellent English, communicated well regarding pickup details and was very accommodating. I am not sure I would call this a folk art tour, but some of the sites were of interest to me.

It was a great adventure! The cocoon auction was striking. I would have loved to see where the cocoons are grown, if possible.

I really enjoyed my day out with Harish my guide, and Manju the driver. The day was longer than planned allowing time to enjoy the sites and not rush. The toy factory was my favourite part and the factory owner was such an interesting man! The Banyan tree was also fascinating, and a lovely peaceful place. I’d like to have heard more about its life cycle and history though
