PADI Open Water Diver course is conducted by PADI certified professions and provides is a life long certification to dive to 18m independently which is recognized world wide. Comprising of 4 Open Water Dives, 5 Confined Water Dives and 5 Theory sessions the course is completed in 3 days. The Open Water Dives are conducted in the beautiful waters of the Egyptian Red Sea providing the opportunity to see the diverse array of marine life.

- buciIstanbul0 contributionsIt should be named "Red Sea Diving and Snorkeling Excursion"Although we gave the correct name of our hotel when booking (our ticket shows we did), they went to pick us up from a different hotel. Luckily we were able to correct it, the pick up was 45 minutes later. The tour is sold as Tiran Island Snorkeling Excursion but it is more a scuba diving tour with some time given for snorkelers. We did not even go close to the Tiran island. They promise three snorkeling locations but 1 and 2 were made at the same location. Why they do not give the correct information is not something I could understand. The rest was ok, the food was average. The guides and the crew were excellent.Written 22 March 2025

White Knight dive location. The aquatic life is diverse and breathtaking. Instructors are friendly and informative. I completed the open water course here for a great price and visited again to explore the local caves and saw a huge range of life and beautiful views around the coral. Mustafa and Mohammad are great instructors who ensured the equipment was safe and helped me to gain a lot of skills, knowledge and experience.

We had an amazing dive trip with these guys. With very little advance notice they were able to set us up with the perfect boat and crew for a two day liveaboard dive trip. They were always super professional and courteous and made sure we were looked after but also that we got the most out of the dives. The dive spots are among the best we have ever been to. The instructors ensured we had variety and excitement and that the schedules and dive plans were within our groups limits. We ranged from 12 year olds to 50 year olds and we all came away thrilled and agreed that we would highly recommend Mohammed el Karim and Mohammed 2 and the whole Pyramids Dive Center team. Thanks guys, we hope to be back soon!

I recently completed my scuba diving license at Pyramids for Diving Centers, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and expertise of my instructor, Mohamed Abdelkarim. Mohamed was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and always made sure I felt safe and confident underwater. His passion for diving and teaching was evident throughout the entire course. He took the time to explain every detail clearly and provided constant encouragement, which made the learning process both enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend Mohamed to anyone looking to learn or improve their diving skills. Thank you, Mohamed, for an unforgettable experience!

As a diver of nearly 30 years I wanted to ensure the dive school for my daughter (13 yo) would give her the best possible start and experience of diving. Right from the start, I could not have been happier with Pyramids. Sabrina was proactive and clear in communicating the course details, and her instructor Ahmed was brilliant - understanding and encouraging. The kit is also great ensuring we felt safe at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Pyramid Diving - 5 stars ⭐️! We will come back next time we come to Sharm.

We had been planning to do an Open Water diving certificate for a while now and finally here in Egypt we had a good opportunity. And we are so glad we chose to do it here; location to dive was amazing, starting from the very first dive we saw so beatiful corals and fish. We fell immediately in love with diving. Farid was professional and fun teacher. He had a lot of patience with his students and he continuously took care that we all are okay and gave us our time to learn. He made us have confidence in our skills by giving a very good foundation to our diving skills. Other staff was also helpful and friendly, everything, like transfers and taking care of our equipment, went very smooth. Equipment was also great quality and we had our time to find suitable wet suits, shoes, snorkles and weights. We are already looking forward to our next dive!!

Our 16 year old son wanted something different for his birthday so he chose to learn to dive in the Red Sea, Egypt. Over 6 months before we even arrived I wrote to over 5 different dive companies in Sharm and there was one that stood out head and shoulders above the rest from the beginning. Pyramid.
Right from the start Maria was so informative, responsive and professional. Never pushy and always understanding. Upon our arrival she became our main daily point of contact simply and easily via WhatsApp. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I therefore decided to accompany my son on many of his dives.
Pyramid allowed our son to study online back in the UK, taking the tests remotely which then saved so much time in Egypt. He passed his OpenWater certification within two days and then immediately went on to complete his Advanced OpenWater including night, peak buoyancy and deep dives. We had a wonderful time diving together and saw some incredible sights.
His diving instructor Farid was extremely professional and made sure every part of every training was done to the highest standard. Safety, understanding and enjoyment where key themes I witnessed. Having dived myself hundreds of times around the world I can honestly say his attitude and professionalism is of the highest standard and he is a credit to both Pyramid and PADI alike.
I now have my own diving buddy, my son, my friend and someone who is so relaxed and at home under water thanks to Egypt, Pyramid, Maria and Farid.

If you are looking to do a dive, or get PADI certified I cannot recommend Pyramids enough. I was basically coerced/ guilt tripped (sorta) by my husband into doing it with him and honestly I was dreading it the whole time. I should mention I've always had a fear of deep sea don't like swimming in general.
Our teacher was Nassar and I am so glad he was our guide. He would go through each lesson/ excercise you will need to perform in the water on land first. And clearly teach you how to make sure your gear is working. And he even told us at first, when you first get in, you might feel strange breathing through your mouth and be scared. Just stay calm and keep breathing.
Then we went into the water. I straight up had a panic attack. I was like nope. I want to go back on land and sit this one out, but he was so calm and helped me to breathe normally again and literally held my hand as we descended into the water. Not only did he help me become PADI certified, I would say my fear of deep sea has subsided quite a bit (not gone though).
Now that I've come out the other end PADI certified I really can't wait to put my certification to use around the world. Thanks Nassar!! :) :)

Our Instructor is Mohamed Abd Elkarim.
High professional, very disciplined and trustworthy.
I fully recommend his services.
Furthermore I recommend to adjust the prices for the pictures which are made on the Safari's.
And the Photographer should make very clear how much they cost from the beginning.
Here must the management establish clear rules and a multilingual pricelist!

The best course in my life turned out to be the diving rescue course, which not only taught me how to help people underwater and on the surface, but also equipped me with skills that are invaluable in everyday life. Thanks to this training, I gained self-confidence, quick reaction in crisis situations and knowledge of how to effectively provide help in various conditions. I owe all this to the best instructor - Mena kerelos , who provided me with the necessary knowledge and skills with passion and professionalism. It is thanks to his commitment and patience that I can now feel confident, knowing that I can effectively help others in emergency situations. This course is truly one of the most valuable experiences I have had in my life.

Myself and my partner have recently completed our open water dive training. Mohamed Abdelkarim was so patient when showing us the skills, waiting for us to demonstrate as many times as we needed and reassuring us when we weren’t sure. The views of the Fanara house reef were incredible. Can definitely recommend the course with pyramids dive centre and specifically Mohamed Abdelkarim
