The history and the tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. Small group so everything was easy.

We booked the tour through viator.com with Koki Travel, which outsourced the tour to Emo Tour Operator so all the guides and drivers are from Emo. Koki was late for confirming the next day arrival reception detail morning flight and Cairo arrival detail which caused some undue anxiety. The tour guides are also not sure about the iternary for the day activity and expense so Koki does have work to improve the internal communication. Note the tour is private and we had private airport reception, transfer and local transportation along with private tour guides. The Cairo Nile Hotel we stayed is 5 stars on the river bank with great breakfast and services. The Nile Cruise ship is Miss Egypt rated 5 stars, which I would rate as above average and food is OK not great. The room is clean with good size. The activity schedule in Cairo was packed and we took the options for Camel ride, Great Pyramid tour and solar boat, so we had only two hours in the Egypt museum after barely made the valley of Temple. So be sure to remind the tour guide you do not want to miss any listed activity whenever he adds a new plan or shopping stop. The time in Ashwan is very relaxed with free time on the arrival afternoon and next morning. You can book optional tour to Abel Simbel but have to get up at 4am. The tour guides is Mahady in Cairo and Mido the rest. They are both passionate about the Egyptian culture, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We appreciate Mido helping to resolve all logistical issue at Ashwan and Luxor. We enjoyed our first time in Egypt and great services received from nice EMO tour guides. Egypt is amazing and you will not be disappointed.
