About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Voyager626806074140 contributions5-day tourI booked the 5-day tour. Super organization. Accommodation is good you even stay in beds not hammocks. Food was great. Tour guide was top (Makario). Tons of interesting information about the indigenous people and the lost city. You can ask any question. Desirable: more transparency in the description of the tour in terms of group size and people on the trek. There are groups of about 13 people and you are one of about 5 groups walking the trek at the same time (low season). There is not much time to enjoy the nature and take pictures. However, the 5-day tour is rarely booked. You split up on the 4th day and walk a different route. There you are practically alone in nature.Written 24 November 2024
- N9566SZevab0 contributionsAmazing adventure with awesome people! The trek was amazing! Our guide Diego was spectacular and shared so much of his knowledge with us. Also, Pilar, the translator helped a lot to make this experience wonderful. The camps were well organized with clean beds and delicious food. We did the 5 day hike and it was so worth it. The last two days we walked with Diego only and had the whole trail to ourselves. We were crossing the rivers, saw multiple gorgeous waterfalls and ate fruits straight from the trees in the jungle. We recommend this 5 day trek for those that have more time and for families with children. We walked with our 10 y/o daughter and she loved the adventure too!Written 14 November 2024
- Venture067058668550 contributionsHighly recommend the 5 day tour! This was the most surreal, special and amazing experience... highly recommend to anyone coming to Colombia. We had the most organised and knowledgable team we could wish for. Jhoan, Easy, the chef (forgive me I cant remember his name) all made it seem effortless. They timed everything to perfection, and made it really feel like an adventure holiday (we even missed the rain on most days). At Cuidad Perdida itself, we basically had the entire site to ourselves in the morning as other tours hadnt arrived yet - and Jhoan gave the most special and detailed telling of the culture and stories behind the site and it's discovery. The food was AMAZING - our chef was a champion and always made sure we were well fed after a grueling hiking day. Not a single person had tummy issues as you may read in other reviews, and water facilities at each accommodation site were perfect and clean. We did the 5 day tour, which is not the same route back but slower. Jhoan took us a different route back for our extra day and it was well worth it! We spent the 4th day viewing and swimming in magnificent waterfalls with some exciting river crossings. As few others in our original group chose this option, we felt we had the jungle even more to ourselves and it was very memorable. The team also went above and beyond to collect us and drop us off at our hostels (which were on the way). This was the more phenomenal experience and one i will cherish for ever. The Expotur team delivered! Note: for those not fit, it is demanding and a good base level of fitness is required. Having unfit individuals in the group can impact morale of others, as the pace becomes too slow. Bug spray critical!!!Written 18 September 2024
- marwanb6260 contributionsNice experience in la Sierra NevadaNice experience in la Sierra Nevada, with breathtaking nature and landscapes as well as interesting contacts with indigenous people. Ida and Samuel (guide and translator) were lovely and helped us to know more about the history of the region. Juan David has been a fast and friendly assistant along the road.Written 25 August 2024
- marcolivierc6580 contributionsExhilarating experience of a lifetimeI recently completed a five-day trek to and from the Lost City (Ciudad Perdida) via Expotur in Santa Marta. The experience is at least as much about the journey (surrounded most of the way by majestic nature - old rainforest, rivers and waterfalls - with stunning views, indigenous communities and campesinos along the track, camps in the wilderness, ...) as about the destination itself (mystical Ciudad Perdida). Words or pictures cannot do justice to the beauty of this place: you have to experience it with all your senses. It is a strenuous journey, not because of the miles/km covered or the terrain (both moderately difficult), but because of the heat and humidity: this is a tropical rainforest, after all. There are steep bits (amusingly called Happy Hour!) in sweltering heat and then sudden downpours, both of which will make you feel drenched (but lifesaving fruits or treats await after every tough bit!). The beauty of the forest and then, following a steep ancient staircase, Ciudad Perdida itself, where you can feel why this distant place is sacred, towering amidst the jungle, butterflies, and birds emerging from the trees... it is a spiritual experience. However, the quality of any journey, and especially an adventurous one like this, is measured by your companions and by your guide and support team. And this is what made the journey truly exceptional. First, the guide Dennis, translator Maria, and cook Letiz, and assistant Gomer... one couldn't possibly imagine a better team to lead and support you! They are spectacular and deserve gold medals!! Dennis and Maria were always charming and attentive, the pace was excellent, and they made sure everyone was not just okay and as comfortable as possible, but also having a great time, with stories and jokes along the way... and some delicious treats ready when you needed them! They were always cheerful, sharing knowledge but also spontaneously helping out at the camps, whatever our needs and desires, and along the way on treacherous bits, assisting to cross slippery rocks or a river. Strong, capable, professional, considerate, and humorous, keeping the spirits of the team high, surprising you with treats that seem to emerge from nowhere, and making sure you have the time of your lives. Letiz cooked incredible, hearty food in the midst of the wilderness that everyone enjoyed. The camps were basic with bunk beds and mosquito nets (take extra care, and bring lots of repellant!), but lots of fun, the sounds of the forest around you, close to a river for bathing and relaxing. Tip: bring shades (flash lights at night) and, possibly, ear plugs if you are sensitive to frog choirs! Bringing a pair of rock/amphibious shoes is helpful in the rivers (not necessary, but helpful). I have some back issues, so appreciated the assistance of Gomer and, at the end, Letiz, with carrying half my stuff in a backpack for a reasonable fee (ask at the start), leaving me only a daypack to carry... and no backpain all along! I recommend this service. Also, I felt really lucky having eight wonderful, mutually supportive companions in our "Fellowship" from various places and backgrounds - we called ourselves the Pocahontas, a name that strarted with a story in jest by one on our team. We all became friends quickly and it was hard to part, especially for me after three days, as the other Pocahontas had booked a four-day trek (I definitely recommend the extra day 4 with deep jungle, fantastic river crossings, towering waterfalls, and a lovely extra camp). In summary, I can most warmly (pun intended) recommend the trek, you won't regret it if you are reasonably fit - strenuous, but making memories for life. Thanks to Expotur, and the most amazing star-guide Dennis, Maria, Letiz, and Gomer. Six stars!Written 24 August 2024
- annemariesB4556OK0 contributionsGreat experience - 10/10The 4 days trip to the Lost City was absolutely amazing. The views were stunning, the hikes were great, the food was really good and our team with our guide Sixto und translator Justin was incredibly fun. The guides were so helpful and made this experience a special one. I absolutely recommend doing this track with expotour - everything worked perfectly. But be prepared to take some good mosquito spray with you!!Written 24 August 2024
- 771barborav0 contributionsWonderful tour to a magical placeThe tour was wonderful and very well-organised. Our guide Jhoan was excellent, incredibly professional, with many interesting stories to tell and artefacts to show us. We learnt a lot about the region, the impact of the armed conflict, and the indigenous communities living there. The hikes are demanding but manageable if you are in a good shape and exercise regularly.Written 23 August 2024
- rhiannont2870 contributionsI would 100% recommend to a friend! We had a truly incredible time on the four day Lost City trek with Expotur. The views were breathtaking (pictures never do them justice!) and everyone from Expotur were so knowledgeable, professional and helpful! On the four day trek, you walk a manageable distance each day and get chances to take in the breathtaking views, go for regular swims in the rivers that you have lunch next to or sleep next to and you get to spend plenty of time at the Lost City site. We thought the showers and accommodation for sleeping were great as bedding is clean and provided and there were little shops where you could buys snacks, beers and lots of other things you might need. Along the way, you stop regularly where you can get drinks and fruit is provided. At night you can fill your water bottles for free and you can also put chance drinks along the way from locals. I am so pleased that we did the trek as it has been a highlight for us on our Comimbia trip and I would definitely recommend to a friend. If you have moderate fitness and love to be out in nature, then do it!! You won’t regret it. If you are lucky enough to have guide Dennys, translator María, guide anssistant Gumor and cook Ledys, then you are in luck because they made the trip truly unforgettable! We learnt so much about the local indigenous communities from them, they always made sure we were ok (despite doing the long walks themselves they’d be handing out coffees and hot chocolates as soon as we’d arrive at camp!) and the food was great (big portions and option for a second helping). We walked with a group of 9 and it was so nice to get to know such a great bunch of people. It is an experience I won’t be forgetting. Thanks so much to everyone who made it happen! #teamPocahontasWritten 22 August 2024
- R5899CSheleng0 contributionsIt was tough but we absolutely loved it! A highlight on our Colombia trip!We had an amazing time on the trek to the lost city. The hiking was tough and I definitely reached my limits but the nature was stunning and the Ciudad Perdida was super impressive and definitely worth the sweat. Our guides Maria and Cesar Jr. took really good care of us and always made sure everyone was feeling okay and having a good time. They kept up the motivation and spirits at all times :) The food prepared by our cook Wilfredy was excellent and very much needed after the long days of hiking. We had different meals each day and they always made sure everyone got enough to refill their energy stores. The fresh fruit along the way and fresh juices we had with the food were also a highlight.Written 21 August 2024
- 929felixp0 contributionsBest trek in Southamerica. We heard from many different sources that Expotur had the best guides for the Ciudad perdida trek. So we booked the tour and weren’t disappointed. The trek was not as hard as expected, but you should be prepared for high temperatures with high humidity. Our guides Cesar Jr and our translated Maria made sure that everyone was fine at all times. They made us feel like family. During the trek we had a lot of very nice fruit-stops, where we enjoyed several types of fruits while heaving breathtaking views of the rainforest. The camps where very cozy, they offered free filtered water and the food was amazing. There were so many highlights that it is impossible to mention all of them. I can promise you, that you‘ll love the experience and I must thank our guides Cesar jr, Maria and our cook Piki.Written 21 August 2024
- ecosquirrel20150 contributionsUnreal experienceThe Lost City tour in Colombia is an unforgettable adventure that immerses you in the rich history and captivating beauty of the country. From start to finish, the tour provides an exhilarating experience that exceeds all expectations. The trek through lush jungles, crossing rivers, and ascending steep mountains is challenging but rewarding. The knowledgeable guides expertly navigate the trails, sharing the fascinating stories behind the ancient ruins and indigenous cultures. The Lost City itself is breathtaking, with its intricate stone terraces and majestic views. The tour also offers a unique opportunity to connect with local communities and truly appreciate Colombia's vibrant heritage. Without a doubt, the Lost City tour is a must-do for any traveler seeking an extraordinary and culturally immersive experience.Written 27 January 2024
- C1778VNjessiec0 contributionsAmazing trek, unforgettable experience with the best team!I did the five day tour to the Lost City with Expotur. In one word it was unforgettable. Our guide, Jhoan, was cleary very passionate about the Ciudad Perdida and went above and beyond for our group. We learned many things, and we explored many different paths then the other groups that were present, making it extra special. Our translator Santi conveyed all the information to us in English and besides that he was the best companion we could wish for, sharing a lot of knowledge and stories himself. To complete the team there was our cook Angel, who took amazing care of us in the camps and made sure we had everything we needed. The hike through the jungle is amazing in itself and reaching the city is an amazing reward. Very special place to be. Would highly recommend!Written 23 January 2024
- MilanP4480 contributionsIt was perfectI did the 5 day trek to the lost city but it was not listed above. Our guide was Jhoan, translator Santi and cook Angel. I loved the trip. All of the above mentioned crew members were the best tour guides I could have imagined. Very knowledgable about the history and significance of the place and they told us about it from the heart. You could tell that they care about the stories behind it a lot and enjoyed being on the trip too, not only just doing their job but really really engaged with the whole experience. I felt very lucky to be in this group with Jhoan, Santi and Angel.Written 23 January 2024
- stefanie123456670 contributionsHighlight of our tripThe lost city trek with Expotur was one of the highlights of our trip through Colombia. Our guide Jorge was excellent and super nice. He gave us so much information about the indigenes and the lost city and answered all our questions. He also took care of a friend, who felt sick and made sure that everyone was fine. Also our translator Andres was amazing! He was very funny and had so much energy. He motivated and entertained us during the trek. The trail was not always easy and it was super hot, but it was worth every step. You should definitely do it while in Santa Marta.Written 22 January 2024
- Helene J0 contributionsAmazing jungle trekWe just came back from an amazing trek to the Lost City with the best team from Expotur! We spend four incredible days in the jungle and the trip was both beautiful and hard 😊 we had nights in both small and large camps and if possible to choose the small camps are by far the best! We felt very well informed and led by the team (Nelson, Juan David, Carlos and Fernando) all worked well both guides, translator and cook. Can’t recommend enough 🤩Written 9 January 2024

We hiked to the Ciudad Perdida with Expotur in the first week of December — right after the trail re-opened from 6 months of COVID related closure. There were a fraction of the normal numbers of tourists so we had a very special and personalized experience. The safety precautions taken by Expotur were excellent — everyone wore masks, were continually sanitizing their hands, and everyone on the tour had a negative COVID test. Additionally, we were required to wear masks on the trail to protect the indigenous population from possible infection (we didn't get to see the local indigenous village which is normally part of the tour). Our guide Jhoan was excellent and obviously highly experienced — he is a local to the area with a strong sense of pride in showing the best of his homeland (note: he only speaks Spanish so ask for a translator if you don't). He stayed with us on the trail across the 4 days, explaining everything thoroughly with personal stories and insights, and took care of all our needs. When we reached the Ciudad Perdida he gave us a two hour history tour of the site with lots of explanations and insights from both pre-columbian and contemporary history. We felt very lucky to have him as the other groups were just left to wander alone around the site for the most part. Additionally, I had an allergic reaction to the mosquito bites (warning: take lots of mosquito repellent, the mosquitos are savage!!) and he helped me with herbal baths and remedies that worked really well. We had been concerned about the accommodation (having read other reviews), but we found many of the huts are newly renovated and in excellent condition — you will get a mat, blanket and mosquito net. The food was ample and delicious — large servings of rice, fish, chicken, plantain, veggies and dietary needs were considered. A word on the difficulty — we've done a lot of hiking (Nepal, Patagonia, Peru, North America etc.) and found the trail itself fairly easy, but the temperature/humidity/mosquitos made it fairly challenging (several people in another group weren't particularly fit and really struggled). You'll definitely need proper hiking shoes and you'll sweat like you've never sweated before. We recommend bringing the bare minimum, hiking poles and wicking shirts (you can wash them out at night and they'll be semi-dry by morning). Overall a high enjoyable walk with lots of beautiful jungle scenery, and amazing history. Highly recommended.

Read great reviews about the Lost City tour with Exoptur so decided to book a few months ahead of our trip.
Good email communication and very helpful with any questions. Popped into the office when we arrived into Santa Marta the day before the tour to sign paperwork and pay the balance.
They arrange collection from your hotel in the morning, but we decided to walk in ourselves.
There were 2 groups of 13 which were split out, and each group kept to themselves for most of the trip.
Really good experience from initial contact all the way to the end. The guide and translator were both excellent (Dennys Higuita and Paula) and looked after the group well.
The camps were better than expected, with comfy bunks with individual mosquito nets and warm blankets.
The food was good and plentiful for breakfast, lunch & dinner. They also provided fruit at various breaks throughout the day, as well as choc/biscuit bars with lunch & dinner which you can save and use along the treks.
We felt our group were very fast so we were always at the back so we could enjoy the scenery and take photos. But this was a little disappointing as it meant we got shorter breaks as we always turned up later, but nothing that could really be done unless the guide sets a pace for the whole group to walk at.
Main things to bring: head torch, sleeping bag liner, 4 pairs trekking socks, earplugs, eye mask, refillable water bottles, swimsuit, flipflops/water shoes to walk down to rivers, mosquito reppelant, and long sleeve top and trousers for evenings.
There are lovely rivers on day 2 & 3 which were wonderful to jump in and cool off at lunch and end of day.
The Lost city on day 3 was much bigger & better than we expected. We got 3hrs there to absorb, learn history, take photos etc, and they staggered the groups really well so each group got there turn at the main sights, and could all take photos with no-one in shot.
Really recommended, but this was one of the toughest things we have ever done. We have done multiple OCR events, walking holidays in Dolomites, Nepal etc, but because of the intense heat and steep hills, this was really tough – do not underestimate it !

Excellent hike, excellent service, overall excellent 4 days!
The 4-day hike to La Ciudad Perdida is not easy but it is absolutely worth it to see the brilliantly preserved archaeological site. Expotur will take care of you over the course of the 4 days as you hike through Colombian jungle, across rivers, up and down mountains and finally up the 1,200 steps to the city itself.
The Expotur team was amazing and I can't commend them enough, they were Daviana (translator), Gabriel and Poncho (Guides) and Juan (Cook). From beginning to end they each worked tirelessly to make sure the entire group had the best possible experience.
I actually became ill during the early hours of the morning of the third day, the day we were to climb to the lost city, and I had to wait a few hours to recover. Poncho remained behind at the camp and waited for me while the rest of the group went on ahead. When I was finally ready to go Poncho and I visited the city, where he personally gave me the tour, and we then spent the rest of the day catching up with the group.
The point is the team will go out of their way to make sure you are okay and are extremely flexible, whether it is because someone is sick or for people who may be moving at a slightly slower pace than the rest of the group.
I would highly recommend Expotur and if possible the team I got for the trek!

We did this walk in the very high season in January as a family group of seven which included my 76 year old mum and 8 year old son. First and foremost, the trek is wonderful, and Expotur are amazing. We had Jhon Jairo and Daviana as our guides and Joel as our cooks, and we couldn't recommend them enough - they were amazing!
As for some specifics for travelers thinking of doing this, a few tips:
1. This is not an easy walk. Although the distances are not that great (10-17km per day), the terrain is rugged, the heat and exposure is high on the first day, and the vertical up and down is tremendous (on Day 3 we did 1900m vertical change). My very fit mum did it but was on a limit, and our 8 year old who is very active also only just made it. Both enjoyed the challenge tremendously.
2. You should pack as light as you can. Ample food (and good food - thanks Joel!) is provided, and you only need the water for the first few hours. All along the way there are little stalls selling gatorade, water, beer, and snacks, so you never get short of that stuff. And at all camps you can refill water with filtered barrels that are made available to everyone.
3. It didn't rain for us, and the paths were fairly dry and so we did the whole thing in trainers. But i can only imagine the mud if it does actually rain. Most important is to wear things that dry quickly and pack light.
4. Accomodation is basic, and a combination of hammocks (only if very full) and bunk beds in dorms. We took a sheet sleeping bag for ourselves which was a really nice detail to have. Also pack swimmers as there's ample opportunity to go in rivers.
All in all, an unforgettable experience and i highly recommend it! The Lost City itself is amazing, but the trek is just as fun. Big thanks to Jhon Jairo, Daviana and Joel for being amazing guides and really explaining a lot about Tayrona history and culture, and the logistics for food and accomodation was impeccable and seamless.
3. The camps are pretty

Big thanks to Jhon Jairo, Daviana and Joel for being amazing guides and really explaining a lot about Tayrona history and culture, and the logistics for food and accomodation was impeccable and seamless.
3. The camps are pretty

The 4 day hike was a great experience and we highly can recommend Expotur.
Our local guide Jhoan could give us deep insights about the history of the region, the indigenous people, the nature and the ciudad perdida (he once lived with a shaman for several years). Also Gustavo (our translator) and Carlos did a great job. During the hike the always were courteous and had an eye on every participant (We were a nice group of 13 people). We always felt comfortable and safe. Our chef prepared great food that provided us with the energy needed for the hike.
Thanks again for the great trip and your hospitality!

Trekked to the lost city with my group the Jaguars, Jose and Jorge. Such an amazing team. Everything is very thought through, from the pickup with the jeep, all the freshly cooked meals, beds with mosquito nets, snacks along the road all days to meeting the local indigenous Cogi people, getting daily briefings on the next days' trek and of course the interesting history about the Lost City and the spanish conquestadores. Jose keeps the spirit up and keeps you going with humour and high energy. Jorge gives you all the knowledge you need and is solid company, especially if you know a little conversational spanish.
For the money aspect I would say you definitely get value for money on this tour. There's no extra fee for anything along the way, so if you don't buy snacks or souvenirs along the way you will not have any extra expences on the hike. This is really a plus, as I have experienced having to pay a lot extra than the initial cost on other tours. All in all I would highly recommend both Jose, Jorge and Expotur! Thanks a lot guys!

Couldn't have had a better experience. Our group was led by Idarle (guide), Bayron (translator) and Samir (chef). All did an amazing job and went above and beyond to maximise our experience. Idarle and Bayron gave us so much interesting information throughout the journey with history and culture lessons. Thanks to them I felt immersed in the history of Sierra Nevada (the indigenous culture, the history of the farming and coca production, the lost city, etc.). The food was incredible. I can't believe such high quality meals could be provided on a trek. I would recommend booking with Expotur (especially with Idarle and Bayron) since I feel our group actually had a better experience than groups using other companies. The whole experience was so professionally done right from start to finish it was pretty unbelievable. One of the best things I've done and thanks to the staff and everyone involved for the memories

A very well organised trip to the Lost City, the kind that you will always remember. They take their job very seriously and make sure to provide you with the best possible guides and staff so that you will have a safe and unforgettable journey to the spectacular lost city.
Our guide Jhoan made sure to always keep us safe and attended to all our needs. He was extremely kind, helpful, attentive and pleasant. He adores the area and knows so much about it, learning about the history of the mountains and the indigenous tribes through him and his personal experiences was a very informative journey.
Our translator Daviana was not only very fluent but also very bright, helpful, understanding and patient. She helped us through the trip as well.
Our cook provided us with delicious meals and healthy snacks, hygienically prepared for us.
We got to absorb the history and of course take in all the nature, in a very safe manner, since our group was very small and all the necessary Covid precautions were taken. Very important during the risky times we live in, to know that the camps are clean and the meals are prepared in a hygienic manner.
Overall totally recommend, they genuinely love what they are doing and it shows, they are experienced and they do everything to make sure that this trip is all you ever wanted.

Ok so just back from the Lost City Expotur trek. We originally planned 5 days but switched to 4 which was convenient thanks Expotur. Let's start with the positives!
The 3rd day when we all hiked up the 1200 steps was the best part of the tour. Victor our guide, Roberto our translator and Brigid our 2nd guide made the 3rd day a day to remember! Our accomodation in Camp 1 and 2 was fine.. Camp 3 considering how high was also basic but fine. All in all day 3 was the best. You get to spend a long time in the lost city and Victor explained the history well (on the 3rd day). We got a talk from on evening 3 from a local tribe leader which was brilliant. The cook Emerio cooked us some lovely meals along the way. Other positives were Fernando our translator who was practically a guide!!
Negatives - check in on the 1st day is a mess. Some people had paid others did not. We waited at the office for almost 2 hours. Also our group was disjointed while trekking. The trek felt v rushed on day 1 and 2 and our guide was nowhere to be seen at times! More information and question times along the way would have been nice ( we often listened into other groups for information)
Another negative is the itinerary and distances. I wear a km and GPS tracker it clocked 80 KM over 4 days waaaaaaayyy more than the itinerary!!! (40-50km) also the tour does not mention that you are up at 5 a.m every day. On the last day they sent a minibus up the mountain to collect us it broke down!
All in all however we had an The cook Emerio cooked us some lovely meals along the way. Other positives were Fernando our translator who was practically a guide!!. No need for a rain jacket. Bring plenty of cash you will need it for extra water, Gatorade etc along the way.
Special mention to Fernando our translator he was with the group constantly. Also Victor and Brigit who looked after older less mobile and sick member of the group.
Rating 3/5 more time for information questions and engagement with guide as well as slightly misleading itinerary let the tour down

What an amazing and challenging experience. I can’t compliment our guide Ciser enough. Such a dedicated, caring, funny, inspirational, and motivating man. He really took a lot of time to enlighten us and tell captivating stories. Wow. If you’re able to, you should ask for this guy.
Also, his assistent Robert was really great!

Hello is there any additional options to pay to let the bag pack transported by a mule during the treck? Thank u!
Written 28 December 2023
You can pay for a mule daily. They are pricey and I don’t recommend as it’s tough work and unsure how ethical it is.

Hi, I will be travelling with a suitcase. Where could I leave this during the 4 days of the trip ? Do you have a save place for that ?
Written 15 June 2022
They have a central office where you can safely keep your luggage.

If your backpacking, where do u put ur bags on the walk, can u leave them at the departure point? Or do u carry them the whole way?
Written 22 January 2022
you can store them at expoturs office or even leave stuff along the campsites in case you want to get rid of stuff while hiking

Cómo es la acomodación en los campamentos? Hamacas o camas?
Written 25 November 2021
Hello, can we leave our backpack somewhere before starting the tour? I guess a little backpack is enough right? And is there English guidance/translation? Regards,
Written 12 November 2021
Hi,
you can leave your backpack at the office where you booked the tour! I booked it with Expotur and they even gave the option to deliver your backback after the 4 days at the start point so you can continue your travels and don't have to go back to Santa Marta.
Hope this answers your question
