The tour/boat itself was fine, we went where we wanted without any issue. However, I paid for an English speaking guide, and her English was not particularly great and required us repeating ourselves several times in order to convey our meaning. It didn't cause an immense distraction to the day itself, but it was a bit disappointing to not have someone who could communicate fluently with us for the price that we paid. At lunch, food also comes out very slowly (use the beach during this time, I feel like a better tour guide would have advised us to do this), and you are prompted to order food for the boat captain (this should be disclosed explicitly in advance; it was not). These didn't detract meaningfully from the experience overall, but I would expect a higher standard of service for this type of trip.

We had an amazing experience using this company. We had a group of 22 people and rented a private catamaran for a night tour of the bay as well as for a trip to the islands. The boat was impeccable and beautiful. The service was top-notch. It was very easy to coordinate everything via email and they were extremely helpful and attentive to any questions or request. We can’t wait to go back and I will be using the same company going forward. Highly recommend!

Luxury Sailing is a wonderful and relatively inexpensive way to explore the islands and beaches outside of Cartagena. We rented a 44’ comfortable boat and the very professional Alejandra set us up with an excellent captain and mate. We started with a 40 minute ride to Cholon, a cute island with about a dozen other boats partying nearby and people in the water, socially distanced but still having a good time. Good vibes all around, but the guys selling food and trinkets were absolutely relentless. Followed that up with a stop at Playa Blanca which was beach-rustic gorgeous, with colorful hostels, perfect sand, shallow clear water and a number of quiet outdoor bars. It’s a great walk from one end to the other, about 1.5 miles of beachfront. Our trip ended with an hour-long slow sunset tour of the bay around BocaGrande, which was a perfect ending to a wonderful day. Tips: The boats speakers connect via Bluetooth, bring your playlist! Boat also has a cooler to store drinks and food. Both Cholon and Playa Blanca had food and drink options but it’s a 40 minute ride to get started. Sunscreen is an absolute must. Bring it. Bring a bathing suit!

A very professional company who arranged everything perfectly for my day trip. Although somewhat restrictive under covid conditions, i still had a wonderful trip & will always use Luxury for my future visits. Thorougly recommend them.

Fantastic experience with a professional and hospitable team of people. My 3 friends and I chartered a 42’ foot boat and spent a day at the Rosario Islands. From the booking and check-in experience with Alejandra to our Captain Robert and Skipper Henry it was a magical, beautiful day from start to finish. The whole Luxury Sailing Boats team offered incredible service prior to and throughout our trip by helping us understand where we were going, accommodating some unique excursions specific to our group and even adding an additional day on the boat last minute. It seemed like Luxury Sailing Boats was known by every service provider we came in contact with in the various islands we visited. We felt very safe the entire time and were able to enjoy the local island experience. Would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Cartagena.
