Our driver 李超 was awesome, prompt, friendly and helpful. We went to the Panda conservation and then Mount Qingcheng. Made our day very pleasant and would definitely go with him again. Thank you!

This was a repeat performance - to take the family to these two sites, both of which are important for anyone who enjoys traveling in China. This tour is an ideal solution for anyone who does not want the hassle of groups or incomprehensible "English-speaking" guides that you have to smile at all day out of politeness, while straining to understand what on earth they are wittering on about. The quality of this tour has not changed since my last visit in 2023 - the driver on this occasion, Huang Lin, was, just like her colleague, excellent, very safe and discreet, she left us in peace, but gave us all the support that we could have wanted by helping us to obtain the admission tickets to the Panda Centre and the Leshan Buddha. Excellent value for money. Altogether a very impressive, unforgettable day - but be prepared for a full day's tourism!

This was exactly as promised. A safe, pleasant, helpful driver to shuttle you to both the Panda Center and the Leshan Buddha. Lovely driver. He doesn’t speak English, but uses a translating application to converse. Realise this is just transportation. Do not expect a guide. If you’re looking for reliable transport to both sights look no further.

The water was too low for the boats and the stair case was close for repairs( which I found out after I climbed all those steps. The driver could not speak English but had an app on his phone which work well. The driver was friendly and on time.

The trip didn't advise that due to low water for over a month, no boats would go to the buddha. Also it advertised a written English guide which I didn't receive so I had no idea what sites the free shuttle bus tour was stopping at or why. The ancient town was a shopping centre with more fun, people playing the river. The driver was fabulous, trying to translate & help me have a good experience though

The Leshan Buddha was amazing! I highly recommend doing the hike instead of the boat, it gives you plenty of time to enjoy the magnificient Buddha. I recommend going in September, definitely not as crowded as I imagine it gets other months of the year. Our car driver Master Hu was amazing! He was punctual, he came with us to the ticket office and helped us get our tickets. Leshan Buddha is quite far away but he definitely made the journey smooth. I can't stress it enough, great rider!! He then took us to Huanglonxi Ancient Town, and he pointed us towards the best street to stroll on. I also recommend doing this portion of the trip, since you get a picture of the old china housing style which is mostly lost in the big cities. This trip is worth doing and worth the 4h total of car.

5 very interesting place away from the crowds at least wheni went there on june 27 2024. Try to book a guide or to study before -about the place

Shi Jianhua was my driver for this tour, and he was excellent. He was very punctual with the hotel pick up and even arrived 15 minutes early. A bottle of water was also provided. Both Leshan Giant Buddha and Huanglongxi exceeded expectations. The journey was smooth and I would definitely recommend this trip.

This was such a fun little trip made much more convenient by my guide/driver. He helped with all the busy work such as buying tickets, guiding me to entrances, and finding convenient parking while also giving in-depth knowledge about the local history as well as food/shopping/tourist recommendations. He even gave me some insider tips on how best to visit a couple of other Sichuan tourist destinations when I mentioned my itinerary for the rest of the trip which were so helpful. I highly recommend this trip if you're looking for a personal driver for the day that's a little more personal than the average tour package. I was able to hit all the spots I wanted to visit, take my time, not be rushed along, and still get back to Chengdu in time for dinner.

We have found in this product exactly what we have looked for. It was no guide drive from Chengdu to these two amazing places. Our driver has pick us up very punctual from hotel lobby. The car was comfortable with air condition. We have received two bottles of water per person. Our driver was very good expired in the variable traffic. He has taken us to the Leshan and assisted us by the ticket office. We had enough time to visit the complex of temples and statue. No time pressure. After that the driver has taken us to the ancient city and let us the time to visit the village in piece. Thank you for the tour and 100% recommendation.

Finding the right solution for this excursion to two of China's important tourist sites is not an easy task. This programme turned out to be the best solution for me and it offered excellent value for money. I saw that all of "the private tours with tour guide" are very expensive indeed (with entry and lunch included). However, what I needed was a private driver who could guide me to the entry points of the Panda Centre in Chengdu, as well as to the Giant Buddha in Leshan - but I did not want to have to listen to a guide all day or to be taken to some restaurant (or even shopping at selected merchants). I wanted privacy but independence. That is what I got at a much more reasonable price. I was picked up from the hotel in a comfortable limousine. I had the driver that everyone else has been praising on this site. He is indeed careful and smooth at the wheel, keeps his distance, and he steered us safely through a bout of some very heavy rain. He accompanied me to all of the ticket offices and, once I was equipped with all of the paper-work (paid myself), I was set to enjoy these impressive Chinese sights. It was a very successful occasion - but be prepared for a full day of tourism!
