What is Travellers’ Choice?
Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
This tour is perfect for those with a little more time on their hands and those interested in the recent Cambodian history. The War Museum houses a wide array of weapons and military vehicles collected from Cambodian battlefields and will shed a light on the recent years of turmoil and explain what shaped the country you see today. Wat Thmei, the Memorial of Victims of the Khmer Rouge Regime, is another sobering reminder of the recent, turbulent past of Cambodia. To lighten up the mood a little we suggest a visit to the Artisans d'Angkor workshop where skilled artists produce gorgeous pieces of lacquer, stone carvings and silver plating and seeing them at work shows the positive direction of the path Cambodia finds itself on today. If you don't find your souvenirs and gifts here then perhaps the Old Market will have what you are looking for. Browse and use your bartering skills to bring home your memories of Siem Reap.

          A fantastic tour with Chansip
Our day-long tour of the Angkor temples with Chansip was one of the best experiences of our Cambodia trip. He is friendly and outgoing, speaks excellent English and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Angkor Wat and also the history of Cambodia and the whole region. Chansip was also very thoughful, keeping us hydrated and in the shade where possible and answering my endless questions in great detail.

Must Do Tour in Phnom Penh
Our guide was Ms. Sreyneang. She spoke impeccable English and was knowledgeable about many topics in addition to her deep knowledge of the 1975-1979 genocide. Really enjoyed the tour with her. Went in the afternoon so while traffic back to the city from the Killing Fields was bad, we had fewer crowds at the sites.

An Incredible and Memorable Day in Phnom Penh
This was among our very best tours during a 2-week Asia trip. Ms. Chheang Sreyneang was our guide. She absolutely terrific in brining to life the history and culture of Phnom Penh. She connected with every member of the familiy and led a compelling and well-paced tour. She offered terrific and well-structured insights and she welcomed questions throughout. Our day started with thoughtful visits through the dark history of Pol Pot and the Khemer Rouge (Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Genocidal Center). These were sad but respectful visits and we learned so much from Ms. Sreyneang. Afterward, we shopped the Russian Market, enjoyed a terrific Khmer lunch, and visited the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Our van was comfortable and discussion with Ms. Sreyneang continued through the day between visits. She shared personal stories that brought an authentic view of Cambodia to life.

          Super knowledge tour guide
Ms. Sreyneang is amazing and super knowledge. We learnt a lot from this experience related to Khmer Communist and brutalities to Khmer people in that regime. Thank you, Sreyneang, for your sharing all information with us.

Superb private tour around Phnom Penh
We had a private tour with our guide Mr Lee Silong for 4 days around Phnom Penh. Silong is excellent and knowledgeable! We learnt a lot on Khmer history from Khmer ancient dynasties to Khmer Rouge era during sightseeing. Silong is very helpful in our whole tour. We are well taken care during such hot weather. Big thanks for our wonderful experience in Cambodia! Highly recommend to support local tour guides because it is the best way to benefit local people and local economy!

          Must visit in Phnom Penh
Excellent explanation of history by our guide Lina Rachana. The site itself is very heavy with all the past memories, but a must visit if you want to be at Phnom Penh.

Very nice tour and good driver
The guide was so kind and knows well about the temples. We enjoyed the tour. The explanation during the transportation was a little bit long. The explanation within 10n minutes or so would be better.

Great family day at the temples
We enjoyed our tour with Chansip! We went with 2 kids and 3 adults. He had so much great information and really enhanced our time at the temples. We had been told a guide wasn’t needed but we found that having a guide helped us understand the temples better and show us some neat facts. It was also nice to be able to ask questions about life in Cambodia. An added bonus - having a photographer that could take good photos of our group! We had lots of cold water provided which was great on the warm day. Thank you for a lovely day!
