Full-Day Shared Phnom Kulen National Park Tour from Siem Reap
USD 35.00
Explore the natural wonders and ancient treasures of the Phnom Kulen National Park on this full-day tour from Siem Reap. Discover ancient Khmer ruins, receive a blessing at the sacred River of a Thousand Lingas, visit the famous Reclining Buddha, and take a swim beneath the Kulen Waterfall.
What to Expect
Tour begins with pickup from your Siem Reap hotel or departs from the tour office. If using the pickup service, guests are advised to wait in the lobby, be patient, and be ready to go as soon as the mini-bus arrives. Pickups commence at 8am and run through 8:30am. Guests can bring a packed lunch for the day or eat at the basic food stalls located near the park.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you require hotel pickup, then you must tell us the name of the hotel and preferably the street when you book. If guests do not inform us of the pickup location, we cannot pick you up.

You will be driven approximately one hour to Phnom Kulen National Park. Phnom Kulen is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia and is of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists.

The tour starts with a drive to the foot of the Kulen mountain, the birth place of the great Khmer Empire in AD 802. Enjoy the breathtaking drive up the mountain, exploring the abundant greenery and the Kulen Waterfall. Take a dip if you wish, or sit back and watch the local families in their sacred homeland.

Make your way up the mountain by foot to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a gorgeous river with sophisticated Shiva Linga carvings covering its floor. Get a blessing in the Cambodian way, with the holy water from this sacred river. Continue up to the tip of the mountain to discover the beautiful Pagoda and its world-famous Reclining Buddha at rest.

Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or the tour office.

Great Value and Beautiful Waterfall

Well organized and a nice value on this trip to this impressive waterfall. The reclining Buddha was impressive. The luncheon restaurant was also excellent. Our guide had a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
