January 20 2025. The day was beautiful for a visit to Angkor Wat. We took a tuktuk driven by Mr. Cheat. And, our guide was Sophy. The tuktuk was very clean and cold towels and cold bottles of water were provided, both welcome relief as the day became hotter. Sophy our guide gave us informative lectures on the history of the temple and was very patient with us throughout the tour, especially taking photos and videos. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and we highly recommend both Sophy and Mr Cheat.

Had a great day out. The driver was friendly full of smiles and he could see I was hot and gave me a cold towel which was refreshing and Nak the guide had so much knowledge I enjoyed finding out about the history of Angkor Wat and actually hearing about Nak being a monk. There is a lot of walking and steep stairs just tell your guide if you need to rest or not do as much climbing.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience on this tour with our family of four including two sons aged 19 & 21. Our guide Sophy spoke fantastic English and he shared his deep knowledge of the local area and Cambodian culture throughout the tour. Our driver Reaksmy was awesome - professional, safe and very friendly. It is currently the dry season, so the water level is well below its maximum, but the benefit of this was that we could walk through the village and see the detail of the elevated houses and vibrant village life at this time of year. We stopped at a bustling local market on the way to the lake which was another fantastic way to get a glimpse of local life. We took a boat to a floating restaurant on the lake where we stopped for some drinks and more fascinating local information from Sophy. We couldn’t fault this experience. It exceeded our expectations and we strongly recommend this tour with Sophy and Reaksmy.

I would strongly recommend this tour!! It’s an easy way to view Angkor Wat and two other temples as well. You get to skip the long walk (extra 3km) and drive right up to Angkor Wat in the tuk tuk. Our guide Sophy picked us up right on time and dropped us off back at our hotel after a great day of touring. Sophy made the day smooth and was very knowledgeable about the history of each temple. Any question we asked, he had an answer for and he was great company! Thank you Sophy for a lovely, memorable day!

Soy Dy was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and gave us a great experience! He went above and beyond our expectations, sharing personal stories with us and taking lots of photos for us. Had an amazing adventure with our guide Nak!! He is so knowledgeable and explained the history of Cambodia which was so interesting. He took us everywhere we wanted to go. We visited where the fishermen work, ice house, and spoke with the locals. The Cambodian market was so interesting and we ate at Sokha restaurant, so beautiful!! We would highly recommend Nak!!

Nak was the best guide ever! He speaks great English, took us to the most unique spots, including a fisherman market and an awesome resort for lunch and a really fun shopping market. We are so so lucky to have gotten him and we would highly recommend him.

Driver was waiting at the airport for us with a sign with our name on it. He spoke English well and gave us some interesting insights along the drive. We highly recommend this company for your airport to hotel in Siem Reap!

We had such a great day with Nak visiting Angkor Wat. He is such a pleasure to be with and so knowledgeable and so happy to share his knowledge with you! I would not hesitate to book a tour with him as your guide. I plan to book with him again while in Siem Reap. His English is excellent!

My tour guide was amazing. He was very informative and there was no language barrier, especially with me being an English speaker. He accommodated me very well. I would definitely recommend his services and the services of his company to anyone. He was also even able to give me some great locations to eat great Cambodian food. I had a wonderful time.

We were collected promptly from our hotel by Sorphea, our guide and Sopheak, the driver. The vehicle was modern, clean and air conditioned. Sorphea spoke perfect English and explained many things along the way, including some general unrelated questions about our time in Cambodia. Sopheak’s driving at all times was safe and confidence inspiring. In January the water level is quite low, but you can still see how the villagers live on the stilts.

I requested the car pick-up services by Green Era Travel three times while in Cambodia. Every time they were impeccably professional, even though both of my flights were late, and I had a late ferry. They patiently waited for me, were safe and reliable, and used professional drivers with proper vehicles who were safe and skilled drivers. Anytime I had a question or concern, they were quick to message me back. That is hugely important when traveling in Cambodia, where the local taxis and tuk tuks are risky to use and prone to scams. I 100% recommend!

Sophy was a knowledgeable guide who took time to explain history of local village, lake and river. Had good command of English and explain slowly and clearly and answered all our questions. Peab was a very safe driver who took care of our water needs and provided cold towels. Boat driver (I don’t know his name) took us around the lake was quite but courteous and helped us get on and off the bat. We felt very safe in his boat.

Excellent trip to Tonle Sap lake and the village on stilts! Aside from Angkor Wat, this is a must visit for travellers staying in Siem Reap. Our guide Dy was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a fascinating insight into Cambodia’s history and his own personal experiences under the Khmer Rouge regime, which were very moving. Kampong Phluk was a sight to behold, as was the vastness of Tonle Sap lake. We also opted to do the canoe ride through the mangrove which was good fun and provided some great photos. Highly recommend the whole experience and thanks again to Dy and the driver!

It was a must-do tour. Mr Sam-Ang Eng was very knowledgable and attentive. The transportation was great quality. The whole experience is highly recommended.
