What to Expect
Meet up with your guide, hop aboard a traditional remork-moto (motorized rickshaw), and set out to explore the city with your guide. Zip down busy streets, avoiding rush hour traffic, and stop at night markets, street vendors, and restaurants to sample the best of the city’s street food. Along the way, tuck into a wide variety of Cambodian foods, including delicious skewered meats, fried chicken with green mango, and hard-boiled duck eggs. Listen as your guide explains how traditional Khmer dishes are made, learn about local ingredients, and taste tropical fruits such as dragon fruit and durian. If you’re feeling brave, try some of the more unusual delicacies, such as fried crickets, red ants, or spiders. After stopping by a popular dessert stall to sample tasty sweet treats, either return to your hotel or opt to stay on in the Bar Street area to discover the city’s nightlife.

  • In the rare event of extreme weather or other conditions such as flooding you will be contacted and given the opportunity to reschedule or cancel.
  • For most of the year it is hot in Siem Reap. There will be opportunities to purchase water, and you can also bring a supply with you. Please keep hydrated. During the rainy season you should bring an umbrella or light rain jacket. Plastic ponchos are also readily available for a small sum in local shops and markets.

If you cancel at least 4 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 3 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
