About
The street food of Siem Reap includes everything from succulent barbecued meats and flavorsome noodles to delicacies like fried crickets and boiled duck eggs. On this tour, travel like a local aboard a remork-moto, leaving the navigation to someone else as you visit restaurants, night markets, and street food stalls. Your guide will point you toward can’t-miss dishes, and a small-group means plenty of personalized attention.

  • Travel by remork-moto: save time by avoiding the traffic
  • Personalized tour: small group limited to 12
  • Have an opportunity to taste tarantulas, crickets, and durian
What to expect
  • Meet up with your guide, hop aboard a traditional remork-moto (motorized rickshaw), and set out to explore the city with your guide. Zip down busy streets, avoiding rush hour traffic, and stop at night markets, street vendors, and restaurants to sample the best of the city’s street food. Along the way, tuck into a wide variety of Cambodian foods, including delicious skewered meats, fried chicken with green mango, and hard-boiled duck eggs. Listen as your guide explains how traditional Khmer dishes are made, learn about local ingredients, and taste tropical fruits such as dragon fruit and durian. If you’re feeling brave, try some of the more unusual delicacies, such as fried crickets, red ants, or spiders. After stopping by a popular dessert stall to sample tasty sweet treats, either return to your hotel or opt to stay on in the Bar Street area to discover the city’s nightlife.

Thou was a wonderful guide! He was a wonderful introduction to some of the more adventurous Cambodian foods we might not have otherwise tried! It was also fascinating to talk with him about local life and customs.

Wow what a fantastic experience! From stuffed frogs, to freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, and ofc the must-try delicacy of the silk worm - this tour really had it all! My guide, Vantha, was so knowledgeable and knew how to have a joke too! So glad I decided to do this tour, you won’t regret it either!!

Just finished the Siem Reap Street food tour. I have to say, I was VERY impressed.
I did not expect much, however, our Guide Thou was VERY knowledgeable and taught us more about Cambodian culture in 2 hours than I had learned in my entire trip so far.
Not only did he take us to inique places only known to locals- but he explained all ingredients, preparation, and even taught us Khmer phrases to be able to speak to the locals briefly.
Tonight was an awesome adventure- I very much recommend to anyone looking to dive into Cambodian culture.
Request Thou as your guide- he is a dream!

Nice way to find out more about Kmer food and eat with as locals.
Very nice guide Thoy gives a lot of information.
Tour goes through different markets but local ones.

Food experienced is very good but if you don't want to eat with fingers and you are picky with places be prepared.

We like to have fun and explore cultures while we travel. What better way then to immerse yourself with their local food? Kim was able to guide us through the maze of street food with ease and humor. We instantly feel in love with him and his infectious laugh. He pushed our boundaries with some wild food and explained that Cambodians eat pretty much anything that moves. We would highly recommend this tour and especially Kim!

This was a pretty cool tour with the different types of street food to try like the locals. The food was unique and interesting starting off with duck embryos all the way to crickets, beetles and ants. Kim was a great guide/host, fun loving and gracious. He made the tour that much better!! Be prepared to fall in love with his laugh!!
