Nonetheless when we were given our slot, each cubicle was clean and well-maintained. I booked this lounge from a travel site and after reading the reviews was ready to cancel due to some stating no alcohol, but after contacting the provider they verified that is was included and I am sitting in the lounge now and can verify it There is a price list in the bar but that is for top shelf. They have Vodka,gin, whiskey, beer and wine and probably a few more that are included. Good is decent. Cooked fresh as ordered. Lounge is big, quiet and overlooks the runway. Priority Pass is getting worse and the Plaza Premium Lounge would ask you to pay extra to use shower facilities. However, it is complimentary if you have Amex Platinum.

A good place to stay and wait out the long layovers - with complete amenities!
I was able to gain 6hr access through Get Your Guide (I believe they're also affiliated with klook). The place is extremely clean, no pods feel like they were used by someone before you.
The staff are kind and helpful to all kinds of requests, and go out of their way to assist you personally if they've noticed the QR of your table hasn't received an order. Shout out to Jefferson and to the folks who took the early morning shift of April 12!
Will definitely do this again!
Note: though this lounge is located in terminal 3, you will need to take a tram (tram is free) to the Gate A area if you are coming from Gate B/C. It's about a 2 minute train ride, and a 3minute walk to the lounge.

We arrived in Dubai from Scotland at 1.30 am, Dubai time, with a lay over of 9 hours. Concious about needing to rest but not wanting to sleep, we booked into the Plaza Premium Lounge at the airport.
It was a great quiet clean space to rest while waiting for our plane. I enjoyed the food that I ate from the buffet, and it was great to have as much beer and wine as you wanted.
As the morning crept on it did get busier, but still had a relatively relaxed feel about it. However, we left by 8.30 am.
The staff were extremely friendly and really helpful. In particular the bar staff, who poured a good beer and made a really good flatwhite, which was so needed by the time we were getting to ready go.
I found this to be a great alternative to getting accommodation especially of you're wanting to stay awake but needing a space to rest and eat.

And there is constant bland music being played which is rather like listening to hold music.
Also, it's almost impossible to find. The detailed instructions are hidden at the bottom of their web page beyond a first set of vague instructions (and because you've found some instructions you don't imagine there would be better ones elsewhere) and dubai airport has the poor navigation, with no maps.
It's 23.20. I've got a 3 hour wait here and there's no way to relax and the music is slowly driving me mad.

I visited the Plaza Premium lounge in Dubai airport terminal 3 Concourse A in April 2024.
The staff at reception were friendly. However the experience went down hill after check in.
The lounge is actually very small when you get in it and it was very busy, with very few seats available.
As I was not able to find anywhere in the lounge area to seat a family of four I went to the restaurant part of the lounge. This is also very small, with very limited selection of food (rice, some meat balls and other hot dishes, bread, small selection of salad, crackers and some cake), none of which looked appetising, with the hot dishes looking like they had not been refreshed for some time. I had read there was an al la carte menu and there is a QR code in the tables to scan for the menu. However this only came up with drinks, and no food.
I visited the toilets before I left. Two out of three toilets were blocked and didn’t look particularly clean.
Needless to say I won’t be visiting this lounge again. It’s one of the worst lounges I have visited and I am a frequent flyer so have seen many airport lounges.

I am deeply disappointed by the treatment my husband and I received at the airport lounge while trying to access the facilities with our Amex card. Despite having the card in my English name and my husband's last name, the receptionist, Ms. Manly TiXXX from Philippine, displayed a robotic and hostile attitude towards us.
Ms. Manly TiXXX not only refused us entry but also displayed a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. When we reached out to Amex for assistance, she was unwilling to cooperate, behaving like an aggressive robot rather than a helpful person. Her uncooperative and dismissive behavior left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported.
It is unacceptable that a representative of a reputable company like Amex would treat customers in such a manner. We tried to resolve the issue through Amex, but Ms. TiXXX's hostile demeanor hindered any progress. The complete disregard for our concerns and the refusal to engage in a meaningful conversation only added to our frustration.
I urge the management of the airport lounge to address this issue promptly and ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar mistreatment. Customer service should be paramount in all interactions, and the behavior exhibited by Ms. TiXXX falls far below the expected standards.
I hope that this feedback prompts a review of the staff training and customer service protocols at the airport lounge. No customer should have to experience such disrespect and hostility when simply trying to access the services they are entitled to with their Amex card.

As per our Amex policy, lounge access requires the presentation of a boarding pass matching the name on the Amex card. In this case, the name on the boarding pass and passport did not match the name on the Amex card. Without identification verifying that the Amex card belonged to you, our staff had to adhere to this policy. We went to Plaza premium lounge as it had quite a high rating, but were disappointed that we had to pay for the alcohol, 45 aed (140 nkr) for a glass of sparkling wine, and 35 for a glass of red wine. Not cheap, but it seemed to be cheaper than in the restaurants. The food was fine, fresh salads and a really good curry with scampi. There were some other warm dishes also, that I didn’t try. A lot of cakes and dessert that I also didn’t try because the changed the menu around 4 am, when they served breakfast. I tasted the pumpkin soup which was ok, but the slice of carrot cake was excellent. I was really fascinated by the tea machine, which had choices like ginger tea with sugar and masala tea with sugar. Really good teas with milk.

We are so glad to hear that you found our food fresh. Thank you for voting for our shrimp and squid curry and carrot cake and we totally agree with you. All Lounges offer Coffee Machines with variety of coffee beverages, and we decided to go one step ahead to include a Tea machine too. This is one of our 'Proudly Local' initiatives and the Tea dispenser will spoil you for choices with Ginger, Cardamom, Masala and Karak Teas. We are thrilled you enjoyed it.
Your Lounge access include a complimentary menu from the Bar which includes beer, red & white wine, spirits- Whiskey, Gin, Vodka and Rum. We also have a premium selection for those who prefer more variety and is chargeable. This is purely optional.

Having used the Marhaba Lounge on previous occasions, I decided to try out the Plaza Premium lounge this time. It was well signposted and thus easy to find. I signed in and went inside. It was about 11.00pm on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of seats available despite the airport being quite busy at that time.
There is a dedicated bar. There was nobody in there so I went in and ordered a glass of wine. On taking a seat I could see a bar code on the tables. This brought up the menu on your phone. You simply choose what you want and within 15 minutes it is delivered to your table - no charge, of course. All part of the lounge experience. So, I ordered the fish and chips. An unusual meal arrived soon after. There were three fillets of a fish called Cream Dory each cooked in batter with a kind of mustard sauce on top. They were excellent. Unfortunately, the "chips" element was an American interpretation. Yes, crisps to us British. So, fish in batter served with crisps and thin slices of cucumber. The fish was excellent and that was enough to keep me happy at this late hour. I left most of the crisps.
On leaving the bar, I found an area of individual seats in booths (for one) with a little table and charging points for the phone. I could get non-alcoholic drinks at that point (well, I did have a few hours before my flight and didn't want to fall asleep).
All in all, I rather enjoyed my trip to this particular lounge and will seek it out next time I'm in Dubai.

Danilo and Jeff were attending me during my stay at the Plaza Premium Lounge! They’re very respectful, funny and mostly helpful! Always ready to serve you and immerge yourself into a relaxing stay. We stayed almost 9h into the Lounge knowing it’ll be a very exhausting and tiring day especially for new years. Our flight was scheduled for almost 12h!! Their hospitality made us enjoy our stay even more and would recommend interracting with them next time you attend this lounge!! Order some hot chocolate too :)

Since we have been flying with Emirates Business for many years, we have always visited the Departure Lounge in Dubai, among other places. We were impressed every time. You could enjoy a variety of hot and cold international dishes of very good quality. But what we found this time in the Departure A Business Lounge was so appalling that we were speechless. A buffet across all gates A with only low-quality fast food. The emphasis is on bad convenience food, not on using savings potential and avoiding food waste. It's not about quantity, but quality when it comes to prices! We have had better food in the lounges of other airlines or airports that are not known for good and varied food. What was presented here was abysmal and not even remotely reasonable in price, especially for the home airport of Dubai.

Im travelling next month , transiting via Dubai intl airport.. I`ll land at Terminal 3 , and my connecting flight will depart from Terminal 2 ( layover is 3hrs and 45mints)
I want to stay at premium plaza lounge at Terminal 3, because they have shower facilities ( the one at T2 they don`t ) , for 2hrs, and walk to terminal 2 after that ... is that possible ? or will I have issues with security checks?
Or, is there any shower facilities at Terminal 2 ??
