About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Ahoelzen0 contributionsExcellent tour of the fortImran gave us an excellent tour of Lahore fort. He was very informative and courteous and spoke excellent English. Our conversation ranged from historical facts about the history of Lahore to the agriculture and ecology of Pakistan to his work with National Geographic. We highly recommend a tour with Imran with anyone who wants to dig a little deeper in Pakistan at a great price pointWritten 1 December 2023
- ness8840 contributionsBeautiful day trip to Lahore old cityHad a great time with the guide Nawaz - good historical overview, very nice atmosphere, flexibility in customizing my trip all made my trip the best experience possible. I got to discover all beautiful sites and their remarkable details in an easy pace. I felt always at ease both at the touristic places as well as the busy bazaar. I got much help in finding all the souvenirs I was looking for - always in a very nice way. The restaurant Nawaz took me too was really delicious. Nawaz was also always communicating with the driver so he was exactly where needed and super on time. He was very mindful of my needs and the pace of the trip was great.Written 15 October 2023
- lquatro0 contributionsAmazing, intense and immersive!I can’t recommend Imran and his team highly enough. He thought of everything, managed everything and adapted to our needs every step of the way. He tailored the experience to cover things that adults and children alike would enjoy. It was a very immersive and interactive tour of Southern Punjab and we got to see and do a lot of things that many of our friends didn’t do with other guides. We had some really unique experiences including watching traditional mud wrestling, camel riding, dancing with local musicians, mud pottery. And of course we got to see the wonderful bazaar, mosques, shrines, forts and temples that the area is known for. Thank you so much! We will definitely be contacting Imran for the next trip!Written 4 April 2022
- 84azrar0 contributionsWonderful tripHi, my name is Azra Daniela and recently I come back from Lahore. I meeted a guide, very nice person honestly, careful about about everything🙂. I highly recommend if you coming in Pakistan to visit or you want to discover another world. 🌎 He has experience over 10years travelling in Pakistan, he knows everything about history, culture. Thank you Imran bhai ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written 14 February 2022
- TripsPlanners0 contributionsLahore Fort Virtual TripImran is always an ideal choice for the guided tours all around Pakistan and specially for Lahore. Not only due to the strong grip on history, culture and geographic; Imran is also a very dedicated, friendly and flexible tour guide. Highly recommended!!!!Written 31 August 2020
- arlete300 contributionsUnforgettable dayI had a really great time with Imran in Lahore. I spend one full day with him. I am a woman and I was travelling alone there, then it was very worth to hire IMRAN to explain me the places and take fotos. He knows hidden places and he is friend of local people, then I could experience the local life, entering in some homes and talking to them. In the end of the day he left me to a Sofi Ceremony inside a Mosque, where probably I never could enter by myself. Again, he met his friends and I could have contact with them, learning more about their way of life. I highly recommend Imran Guide!Written 6 June 2020

- Dta12340 contributionsGuided tour of Lahore Fort and Badshahi MosqueWe came across Imran by chance when we were visiting the above locations. He nicely and pleasantly persuaded us to take a guided tour with him and while initially reluctant we were very pleased that we accepted. He is very knowledgeable about the above sites and was able to give us the most fascinating insight into their history. We could not have hoped to learn half as much if we were left to our own devices. He has a good command of English and so communication is not a problem and he is very pleasant too. He knows the best spots to take pictures and in fact it took our photos at all these places. Despite using our iPhone we now have a professional set of photos to remember our excursion. We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone visiting Lahore. Thank you Imran for a memorable day out. Visitors from Kent UK.Written 13 March 2020
- mustafan19920 contributionsCompetent and FriendlyOur great tour experience started even before we embarked on our journey to Lahore. The communication with Mr Imran Ali was very professional and he was very quick in replying. He considered all our questions and replied precisely, sent us an itinerary with the costs. On site he spent a lot of efforts showing us around and listening to our questions. He not only explained the sights but managed to eyplain the historical as well as political background and link them together so that we were able to grasp a broader picture of Lahore and its heritage.Written 25 February 2020
- Claudia V0 contributionsLahore in briefWe met Imran Ali by incidence on our second day in Lahore. He showed us Wazir Khan Mosque, Shahi Hammam and parts of the Walled City. The next day we visited Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort together. Imran Ali is a very experienced guide and gave us an interesting first insight into the history and most important monuments of Lahore. I can definitely recommend his services.Written 24 February 2020
- CHWang370 contributionsA delightful and educational tour of Lahore with ImranI had wanted to visit Lahore on my own because that's what I did in Islamabad and most places in the world. I met and took on Imran's offer for a guide at the entrance to the Badshahi Mosque because I wanted to see as much as possible with the limited time I had and because I saw that Imran might be one of those I know who love, are knowledgeable and are passionate in promoting their home town or home country. I ended up toured the Mosque, the Shahi Fort and the walled city nearby with Imran. Yes, Imran was educated, cultured, in addition to being very knowledgeable of the history and cultural significance of the places we visited. We also got into the discussion why there was so few international visitors where we visited and that international tourism would be good not just as an additional source of income but also a vehicle to promote cross-cultural understanding of the country,.. A note to the Pakistani government here I guess. I thoroughly enjoyed the tours with Imran and would recommend him to the visitors here :)Written 12 February 2020
- JohnnyCov0 contributionsLahore & Islamabad tour & guideI booked Imran for a total of 3 days. Just Imran, myself & transport he provided. It was a totally private tour with the itinerary agreed after talking with Imran & researching myself on what I wanted to see & do. We toured Lahore & Islamabad together Imran is a friendly professional educated guide who totally satisfied my requirements at all times. The prices were competitive & his service was perfect If you need a guide in Pakistan then contact Imran first and you won’t be disappointed John U.K.Written 4 February 2020
- johnbK9905NX0 contributionsGreat guideImran guided me around the Lahore Fort and Badshahi masjid. He is very knowledgeable about Mughal history and answered all my questions. He is very easy going and kind. I would like to take another tour in Lahore with him.Written 20 January 2020
- Stella_H_Zhang0 contributionsKnowledgeable, skilled, and friendlyMy half-day visit to the Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, and the Walled City of Lahore was made more memorable thanks to Imran! Imran is not a tour guide who tells you silly jokes. He is serious when he introduces the history of the places to you. And he knows his stuff. As I said to him in person, he sounded like an academic with the kind of vocabulary he used (and of course he went to college and studied history!) I was very happy to have such a tour guide, being an academic myself. Moreover, Imran is a very good photographer. He knows how to take good pictures with a phone, which is not the case with any tour guide. I'm glad that he helped take quite a few good pictures of myself (as I'm not much a selfie person and I don't like asking others to take picture of me, especially when the random passer-by is not particularly strong in photo-taking). When we toured the walled city together, Imran took me to tea places and treated me street snacks. I could not have done that myself being a solo female traveler in Pakistan. So it was great experience. I had a very relaxed afternoon as if I was doing the sightseeing with a friend, not a tour guide from whom I was buying the service. Overall, I wish Imran great success in his business because of the great quality that he has.Written 14 January 2020
- 496fabriceb0 contributionsFantastic experienceWe spent a day in Lahore old city with Imran and our 2 kids. It wasn’t our first visit, and Imran, our guide, realized that and took us to new places, and told us details we had never heard before. We had a wonderful day, and Imran was very flexible based on our existing knowledge, desires, and time constrain while making it interesting for our 13 and 8 years old kids. A fantastic experience I highly recommend.Written 5 January 2020

Randomly met Imran in the streets of Lahore, as i was having difficulties figuring something out in a market, he helped me out, out of the goodness of his heart and invited me for lunch, then went on to show me around Data Darbar a very important religious site in Lahore aswell as another smaller Sufi shrine in the evening, not expecting anything in return.
I have now hired him and spent several days with him, going on a day tour from Lahore to the Khewra mines where the Hymalayan salt is extracted from along with a stop at the Unesco listed Ketas Raj temple complex. This is definitely a MUST DO for any tourists.
As i am a vlogger, i have had some special requests of seeing things that are not on a regular tourist map, "Pakistan under the Carpet" if you will, and Imran delivered ! He seems to know everyone in town (if not the country). He took me to discover Pakistani traditional music, with Tabla and Harmonium with several musicians and bands, as well as to a Sufi festival a couple hours away from Lahore that was absolutely INSANE. And if you have a chance i would definitely recommend you to contact Imran just to know if there is something similar going on at the time you are visiting.
Another underground thing that everybody should in my opinion is the Pehlwan also known as Kushti, a form of traditional wrestling perfomed on soft ground (or mud if it rains) that has been going for centuries in the region and is very impressive. I got the chance to witness the wrestlers train, and to wrestle with them. my exercise regimen is more one of lifting cake into my mouth than anything else so.... that was bad... but incredibly fun and made they were incredibly proud of showing their passion and sport to a foreigner as i was the very first one to be interested in this. But i had not met Imran i still would have had no idea this even existed.
This is what you can expect from him, incredible knowledge of the places he will take you to, the ability to have restricted areas at some places become open for you, and a very personalised tour of pakistan, if you want to see something that isnt part of the original tour he is very accommodating.
Further to this, his prices are very reasonable and honest when compared to many other places.

I bumped into Imran outside Lahore fort and he took me on a great overview tour of the fort and parts of the Old City for a reasonable price. Imran is clearly knowledgeable about Lahore (and much else), although I think that the biggest advantage of taking a tour with him is that he seems to know a lot of people, which greatly increases your chances of getting an insiders look into the city. I was also impressed that Imran has worked with some well-known international journalists/writers with expertise on Pakistan.
A definite recommendation and I look forward to seeing Imran again the next time I am in Pakistan.

Imran was recommended to us by some friends who'd also done a tour with him. It was quite expensive, but with limited time in Lahore it was absolutely worth the price for us. The whole day was totally fascinating, we packed so much in and would never have seen so much in such as short time otherwise. Imran made sure to take in our interests (my husband spend A LOT of time buying spices). Husband also says that he particularly liked the lunch and took us to a place you'd never find in a guidebook. I really enjoyed visiting the mosque, learning about all of the history. I would HIGHLY recommend Imran to anyone, and when we one day come back to Pakistan we will definitely book with Imran again.

Imran is a great guide and is the one you have to experience Pakistan with. Very knowledgeable in history and culture, good story teller, at the same time very tactful and polite. Everything was well organized and every minute of the trip you I couldn't even imagine it could be done better. 100500% that after the trip you will stay good friends with Imran and would recommend him to everyone visiting Pakistan. The county itself is a real gem: heart-welcoming people, amazing cultural and historical sites, 100% safety and breathtaking natural beauty.

If you are new to Lahore, Imran’s tour is essential to gain a historical and cultural perspective you won’t get from a guide book or vlog. He is extremely knowledgeable on the background to Lahore and Pakistan in general. We spent 10 hours with Imran and his careful driver, covering the principal sights in the city, culminating with the must-see border ceremony at Wagah. There were many highlights, with a guided tour around Delhi Gate among the most memorable. Rather than wander around yourself aimlessly, Imran handily explains the unusual occupations of some inhabitants. Street food is also described before you sample it. There is no hard sell whatsoever. It was 40deg C during of tour but we never felt rushed and had plenty of rehydrations stops. We felt comfortable under his care throughout and would not hesitate to recommend him as a guide to ensure you get the most out of your time in the city. His friendliness encapsulates the welcome you will receive here should you opt to visit.

Imran is the best possible tour guide one could ever wish to have! He is extremely knowledgeable - not just about Lahore and its history, but about Pakistan and the wider region as well. What's more, his knowledge is not just limited to the same information anyone can read up on. Indeed, Imran seems to know everyone in the city, and can tailor tours to meet anyone's particular interests. We, for example, ended up in the living room of local musicians for a private concert! He is also super easy going and a great travel companion. We highly recommend his services!!

Imran spent 14 days together with me in Punjab. He recommended a lot of sights and had a lot of knowledge and informations. We´ve seen Lahore, Wagah, Hiran Minar, Sheikhupura Fort, Chiniot, Ketas, Rotas Fort, Multan, Bahawalpur and other hidden treasures. But he is not only a very qualified tour guide, he is also opening many doors to Pakistani daily life - what I really appriciated. So we went to a marriage ceremony, to Sufi ceremonies, had a lot of contacts with musicians, religious peoples, merchants, and so on.
Imran is the perfect opportunity to learn much more about Pakistan. Much more as you expect. I had a perfect journey with him. Unforgettable and priceless.

Taking part in the Lahore Full Day Sightseeing Tour was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I was greeted by my guide Ahsan Jamil to the very end of the tour, every aspect was well-planned and executed. I felt completely safe during my solo exploration experience. Imran's company and Ashan provided excellent support and made me feel at ease throughout my journey.
There was a diverse range of attractions on the itinerary, allowing me to gain a holistic understanding of the rich cultural heritage of the city. Ahsan's knowledge, passion, and dedication made this tour so memorable. Throughout the tour, his storytelling skills brought the city's landmarks to life. Whether we were wandering through the narrow streets of the Walled City, admiring the majestic Lahore Fort, or exploring the old city Ahsan's insightful commentary provided context and perspective, allowing me to appreciate each site in a new light. Thank you for a truly memorable day!

This was the ideal full day tour of Lahore at a great price. The guide was excellent. He spoke fluent English and had a deep knowledge of the history of the city and the places we went. The car was clean and comfortable and came with a lovely driver. All protocols were arranged in advance to ensure smooth sailing, especially at the Wagha border. We changed things around a bit with an earlier lunch and they were completely flexible and accommodating. We had a car as it was a scorching day for this tour but they also offer the tour on a rickshaw or horse drawn carriage which would be great in cooler months. If you are in Lahore for a short stay and want to see and experience a lot, do this tour. Bring change to tip people along the way.

I had a 2.5 days visit in Lahore with Imran. The first afternoon, we visited the Lahore Museum. On the second day we went to the city center (Lahore walled city, Lahore fort, Bagdashi Mosque, etc) and on my last day we visited Shalimar garden and Wagah Border).
Imran was a nice guide, always on time and everything worked perfectly. He let me discover some interesting street food, which added a true value to my visit. We used various vehicle to move around the city, including a nice car to go to Wagah border, but also his motorcycle, which was a truly experience. I would recommend him for my next visit of Lahore. Do not hesitate to contact him directly to get a personnalisés itinerary, fitting with the budget you want to spend !
