We had a great time during this trip. Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went with car until Balea Waterfall, but unfortunately cable car was closed due to severe wind. Since we couldn‘t take cable car to Balea Lake, guide offered us an alternative trip and on top of Carta Monastery, we visited also Sighișoara Fortress and Viscri village.

Our family visited Romania for 6 days before Christmas and Traian was AMAZING. He met us in Bucharest at the airport on the first day and drove us to our hotel in Priona Braşov. Then, he picked us up at the hotel for our castle day. He was knowledgeable, patient with our kids (all 10 and under—even had a car seat for our little one!), and seemed to know everyone and everything. His English was great and he was so kind. Then, his company drove us back to Bucharest on our last day. We would recommend this tour company 100% to anyone who is traveling to Brasov. If we make it back to Romania, we will book with Traian again!

Traian was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide/driver. The car was also perfect. This is the best experience you can hope for.

We really enjoyed our bear viewing experience! It was rainy going to the park, but it cleared up nicely once we got situated in our "hide" The viewing area was protected from the elements (like a glass fronted cabin really) and bears would come to feed in viewing distance. I particularly liked the interaction of bears and the cunning little foxes. It was definitely the highlight of my trip to Romania.

Transfagarasan Road, Balea lake Carta Monastery with Discovery Transylvania. An exhilarating experience blessed with perfect. Traian did a perfect job. Lunch at a trout farm was the icing on the cake.

Claudio, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about each castle. We went ahead of some other tour groups and were virtually the only group in Peles Castle. It made the tour intimate and easy to follow and see everything without rushing. Peles' castle was intricate and beautiful. There were many beautiful paintings and furniture. It felt like we were in an art museum. The second castle we saw had been taken over by the communists and turned into a hospital. The beautiful frescos had been painted over and the staff was attempting to restore some of the original grandeur of the palace, The juxtaposition of the two ideologies was informative and interesting. This tour is a must to get a glimpse of the complicated history of this region of Romania. Claudio was an excellent guide and a great driver. I'll leave Bran's castle to your imagination.

My favorite part of the tour was Viscri, one of Romania's most beautiful villages, best known for its centuries-old fortified church and traditional houses. I have never seen anything like it. The village consisted of many walled houses, almost like mini-fortresses. The church was at the end of the town. As we toured walnuts fell around us, The gardens were beautiful and the church was filled with ancient script on the walls and pictures. Tryon, the tour guide, answered all our questions and was truly interesting. We had a nice time in Sighispora and a delicious traditional meal. Don't miss Dracula's room at the restaurant. Lots of fun!

We had an amazing day filled with castles with Traian. Not only was he a brilliant chauffeur but he provided private tours of each of the castles (which he knows so much about). He was obviously popular with all of the people working at each locations and we were one of the first groups into Peles which meant we were able to see most of the interior without other people around. Cantacuzino castle was an unexpected delight though there is something for everybody on this tour. We would definitely recommend. Traian also recommended a great restaurant for lunch and again for dinner on our return to Brasov.

Traian is an amazing tour guide. He has lots of interesting facts about all the places we visited. He provided a seamless tour for us and was accommodating, offering additional stops/experiences as requested by us. His warmth and friendliness made the tour a delight. He also doubles up as a fabulous photographer (see attached photo). The locations were also amazing, particularly Sighisoara.

Amazing tours! Our tour guide was well informed and answered all our questions. We went on two excursions with this company and they always got us into the attractions before the crowds and helped us avoid long lines which gave us more time to explore.
