You will climb to the top of Klis fortress situated at the very peak of the rocky ridge.
Due to its strategic position at the hill overlooking the valley, Klis fortress was controlling the entrance to Split and it was unconquerable for many years. You will learn more about defending techniques people used to defend the city. It is almost incredible that Klis resisted Ottomans attacks for entire 25 years.
If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you will be glad to find out that Daenerys, Queen of the Dragons was passing this walls, when visiting Meereen, fictional slave land.
Once in the fortress you can stroll through secret corridors or view displays of costumes and swords that guards had to wear. You will enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view of Split and its islands from the highest point of the fortress.

Next stop is city of Split, the second largest city in Croatia known for its rich historical heritage.
Visiting Split is unimaginable without visiting Diocletian Palace, built in 4th century as a military fortress and a royal residence for Roman emperor Diocletian. Nowadays it is listed in UNESCO World Heritage list and it is Split's living heart filled with people, picturesque bars and shops. Your guide will introduce you to the interesting history of Split, you will find out how people lived in the city and the way Diocletian's palace looked through history.

Last stop is Trogir. It is considered to be the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic city in Europe. Since 1997 entire city is inscribed at UNESCO World Heritage List.
