About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Nynaeve880 contributionsGood day outEnjoyed this day trip, great tour guide. Long day but soo worth it! Amazing views really loved the waterfall and surrounding areaWritten 4 December 2024
- Virginia0570 contributionsBeautiful nature! The luxury minibus made the journey comfortable, and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing interesting insights about the history and culture of the region. Mostar was charming, with its iconic bridge and vibrant atmosphere, while the Kravice Waterfalls were absolutely stunning. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wished we had more time to explore Mostar, but overall, it was a well-organized and memorable trip. Highly recommend!Written 25 November 2024
- Sunshine416189309270 contributionsNice Mostar Tour!An early but well planned tour met up at the Pile Gate. We had a nice walking at Mostar where things and souvenirs are cheaper there when compared with those in Dubrovnik. It was not crowded to cross the Bosina border in mid Nov as not many people traveling in the morning. The Bosinian local tour Elma told us a lot of history of this place. Special thanksssss to the driver and tour guide Karmela in which they had brought us to Mostar and another tour to Kotor in these 2 days! :) I would recommend to join this tour.Written 14 November 2024
- Sunshine416189309270 contributionsVery enjoyable local tour!We travelled on a comfortable car and with an informative tour guide. Nice and good time arragement to visit Perast and Kotor. May be it was an off season in Nov that not many cars passing through to Montenegro, every thing was going smoothly and no need to wait long. The boat ride was also great that was so relaxing to see the view. Lovely tour and must join!!Written 12 November 2024
- buenab20240 contributionsAmazing! Our guide Sandra is wonderful took time to pick us up even we are out of the way. Very informative and funny. Give us time to explore but takes more than a day to cover everything.Written 31 October 2024
- lkreese0 contributionsEnjoyable day! Worth every centWas collected promptly at a bus stop close to my hotel, and off we went. Border crossing into Montenegro went smoothly, less than a half hour. Have your passport and three euros cash. The return border crossing into Dubrovnik took just under an hour. This is out of the tour company's control. Laura, our guide, kept everything streamlined and easy. Diana provided an excellent, brief walking tour in the old town of Kotor; very much appreciated to make the most of our free time in this stunning place. The 45-minute boat ride to Lady of the Rock Church was enchanting and beautiful. The day ended with a quick visit in Perast, just enough time to stroll the promenade with a rest for coffee and cream cake. The day was perfect and timed well. I can't imagine a better experience, especially for this price. Gorgeous, heavenly Kotor Bay! Thank you, Select!Written 24 October 2024
- maniya80 contributionsHighly recommendedWe had a good day trip to Montenegro. Good value for money. The only issue is the wait to cross the border but it wasn’t the tour operator’s fault. They did their best to check on us and keep us comfortable.Written 19 October 2024
- louist1810 contributionsGreat Tour - Worthwhile!A very well run tour and exceptional value for money. The day trip was a fantastic addition to our 5-day holiday in Dubrovnik. Boki and Sandra were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide in Kotor, Maja, was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, this would be a tour I would recommend and was a highlight of our trip.Written 17 October 2024
- ClareJL30 contributionsA long day but so worth it!We pre booked this tour and it turned out to be the one day we had stormy weather. It was still superb. Our guide Laura was efficient (although she made Mostar out to be a haven for criminals! 😉. Mostar (Andrej was our gude) was stunning but filled with groups of tourists like ourselves and we found an excellent, traditional place to eat qnd watch the crowds go by. The waterfalls are spectacular- even in the rain! We stopped again on the journey back at the impressive suspension bridge across one of the ravines.Written 5 October 2024
- Metromart0 contributionsGreat TourA bit of a long day and the weather could have been better, but we both enjoyed the tour. Even at the end of the season Mostar was mad busy with tour groups. You could hardly stop to take a photo without being trampled. The waterfalls were amazing and would be a great place to spend a full day if the weather was good. The highlight of the tour was our charismatic and mercurial guide, Laura. She gave an excellent off the cuff explanation of the last 500 years of the local politics with some excellent insights. She also (nearly) kept her cool when the customs introduced an unexpected delay. Thanks Laura!Written 5 October 2024
- EAMarkb600 contributionsLovely day!Had a wonderful day exploring Perast and Kotor, good communication and was picked up not far from our hotel, lovely boat ride to lady of the rock and we got through customs quickly Olli our guide was excellent!👍Written 2 October 2024
- MMcK19690 contributionsWaste of time!If you don’t mind sitting on an uncomfortable bus for 5 hours with a rude, disengaged driver who almost caused 3 accidents and definitely did not know the meaning of the stop sign, then this trip’s for you. The tour leader did provide some information as we drove, but there were many more opportunities to explain things as we drove. She did nothing with the group. Three hours in Mostar given the crowds provided only a limited overview of the history. The inclusion of the Turkish House was a complete waste of time as little information was given and there were too many tourists to get a feel for its significance. The trip to the falls was interesting for those who wanted to swim but other than that it was not of great value. It was picturesque but compared to other falls we’ve seen, it does not rank among the top sights to see. Don’t waste your time or money!Written 27 September 2024
- hossameldine740 contributionsWell planned tripIt was a very good trip. Everything was on time as planned. Our guide (Sandra) was very friendly and helpful. The trip with the boat was my favorite part. I would recommend it to everyone.Written 25 September 2024
- chauhanLondon0 contributionsIvanka from Grayline tours is the best guideWe went with grayline tour operator in Split. Our tour guide Ivanka from Trogir was the best ever;a wonderful, caring and genuine human being who looked after each and every one of us,kept us entertained and knew the facts of each place visited very well. Her presence made the trip memorable. Only downside is I wish we had more time than the 40minutes we had in the little village of Pocitelj which was so pretty 🥰Written 13 September 2024
- isabelcZ1411ON0 contributionsAmazingCarmella was an amazing tour guide. The whole day felt very well planned. The city of Mostar was so interesting and the waterfalls was incredible. Loved the whole day. Would recommend bringing lots of snacks and water!Written 8 September 2024

A bit of a game of two halves really. The places we visited were absolutely stunning but the transport was pretty chaotic. Our tour guide seemed to be dictated to by an extremely inflexible driver who made it very clear he wouldn't stand for any lateness. He left two of the group behind at the first refreshment stop (which the guide only realised after carrying out a headcount after we'd set off) and we wasted 25 minutes of an already tight itinerary going back for them. We set off for a second time and whizzed past various places of interest that the guide gave us a LOT of information about as we passed.
The boat trip to Kotor was fabulous - the guide (not our tour guide) was very engaging and we learned a lot of interesting things about Montenegro. Kotor Old Town was beautiful - very picturesque and full of charm. There was an optional 30 minute walking tour but we decided to get food and explore ourselves.
On the return we got held up at the border for over an hour and a half. Our guide advised that we could be there for anything up to four hours, maybe longer. It would have been useful to have known this prior to departing as we could have bought extra refreshments (there's obviously nothing at border control apart from a Trainspotting-esque portaloo). Our guide then proceeded to tell us about all the other nice trips we could have gone on where there wouldn't be delays, and the best days for taking the trip we were on (not a Wednesday which is the day we'd chosen).
Two of the group (the same two who'd got left behind earlier) decided they'd had enough and left the bus and walked through border control to make their own way home. When we finally made it through border control, the bus driver took great delight in papping his horn at them as we passed them walking on the road.
The trip ended with five of us being called to exit the bus and having to get in a taxi to take us the last five minutes of our journey. Apparently our bus driver had decided he wasn't going to drive the bus to our pick up point from the morning as the road was too narrow. All in all, the travelling was pretty farcical and not the best experience I've ever had.

Perfect from start to finish. Picked up 7.30am above Hotel Astarea and the trip did exactly what it said on the tin. Everything ran like clockwork at every stop point ( and therefore start point). Boat was waiting at the lady of the rocks and we got 40 mins in Pestar after. Kotor Old Town started with a 30 minute guided tour... funny and knowledgeable. Then 2 hours 30 mins to wander which was about right. We were lucky 18 on the trip so a small air conditioned bus and 10 mins through customs ONLY both ways.

It was an excellent tour. We did the town near lady of the rock first then the boat to the Lady of the Rock. Both were nice and perfect timing. The best part was the boat to Kotor from the Rock! I guess we didn't realize that was part of the tour but it was lovely. Our guide for the day was lovely. I unfortunately have forgotten her name, but her stories as someone who was in Dubrovnik during the war were memorable. I'm so glad we got to hear from someone who lived the history we saw on television. She was informative, friendly, and an overall lovely tour guide. Well done! Kotor was cool, the hike was worth it and the old town was delightful. The border crossing wasn't the most fun but both our guide and the driver were honest about the situation and got us over as quickly as they could.

The route was wonderful and these parts of Montenegro are definitely worth visiting! Unfortunately I had a bad experience as the local tour guide (from Montenegro) chose to leave me behind by myself at the "Our lady of the Rocks" islet while she continued with the rest of the group on their way to Kotor. Although the cause might have been a miscommunication about the departure time (I thought it was 12.15 while it appears to have been 11.45), the tour guide counted the group, realised I was missing and chose to leave without me (a solo traveler!) instead of trying to locate me. The guide did not contact me on my phone or entered the museum (where I was) to find me because she was not allowed to go in without a ticket which she refused to pay for even though it was just 2 euros! I cannot comprehend how somebody can leave a person of the group behind, stranded in a literal islet in a foreign country. It is claimed that the departure time was 11.45 and I was at the meeting point at 11.50 so I cannot accept that any serious effort was made to ensure my safety and continuation of the trip with the rest of the group. I do want to say that eventually a boat and a car was arranged for me to get to Kotor and that was covered by the agency. Nonetheless, this is unacceptable but thankfully our Croatian tour guide was really helpful in getting me to Kotor and overall was a great guide.

We chose this excursion and with this company because it was in Spanish-English. Our surprise was that nothing was Spanish... everything was in English. If you had known before, the truth is we would have gone with another, cheaper company and with the same services as this one.
Another thing that we do not understand are the taxes in Kotor of €3 and none of the tourists who were free did not pay and entered the city as if nothing had happened. One of the girls on the excursion asked why they didn't give any receipt as if they paid to enter and leave the city and thus confirm that the fees were paid and they told us that it wasn't necessary and we could enter as if nothing had happened. And other tourists entered without paying.
Otherwise, the guide was very good and professional, he realized at the end that we were Spanish and if we had understood something... Just when everything was explained about the excursion, but well... any questions he would solve without any problem.
Therefore we felt cheated since our intention was to learn about the history of Croatia.
I emphasize that this score is not due to the guide or driver, but rather the deception of putting Spanish in English.

We've enjoyed our trip to Montenegro very much. Marinela was a really great guide, she was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information during the trip. The pickup was easy and right on time, and the driver was very competent. Both Perast and Kotor were well worth the visit. We also liked the fact that we had enough time in Kotor to explore and roam around freely.

DANGER!!!! Beware of this agency, they are spreading very big nationalist propaganda against Montenegro. The tourist guide(Andrija) is a mentally unstable and sick person. I was very afraid of him. I reported it to the agency, they did the same as their guide. Very unpleasant and aggressive owner!!!

My wife & I had a great time on a private tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. Our driver, Nicholas, became a new friend my the end of the trip. He was outstanding and a good driver. Nicholas was very flexible with our schedule (especially driving my wife around looking for certain face & body oils from Montenegro). We were driven around the sights in a new Mercedes Benz van. The drive around Kotor Bay were breathtaking. We also experienced a boat ride to the Lady of the Rock. Amazing. Great memories.

We went with select Dubrovnik to Perast, Lady of the Rocks and Kotor. We got a boat from perast to lady of the rocks and then onto Kotor which broke up the bus journey with incredible views along the way. I couldn’t recommend it more and value for money.
Our tour guide Patricia was a gem. She was so enthusiastic all the way through. We were stopped at border control for 2 hours on the way home due to an IT issue but with Patricia and Ivan the bus driver, they kept our spirits high so we’d never forget a memorable day.

This was absolutely amazing. My group made some mistakes and the tour group totally stepped up and fixed the problem for us even though it was our fault. The guide was amazing, as was the boat and Kotor guide, bus driver and boat captain! All went out of their way to provide a wonderful experience!!

Hi, we're very interested in this tour, will you pick up at our Hotel, Hotel Adria Dubrovnik? And is it possible for us to bring our luggages? As we will stop at Kotor and plan to not join the bus for return trip to Dubrovnik?
