- mikerR482OK0 contributionsA Memorable DayWe enjoyed our day spent with Igor! He is very knowledgeable, polite, and a pleasure to be with. He took us to many of his favourite places and even ones that he wanted to experience. Thank you, Igor … #7.Written 16 November 2024

- 14kristinea0 contributionsKravica watterfalls and MostarWe had an absolutely stunning day! Everything was interesting, and the guide had a wealth of historical knowledge. I had previously vacationed in Croatia, and wanting to explore more, we chose to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina-and it was the right choice. I swam in the Kravica waterfalls, where the water was refreshing. This was absolutely the highlight of the trip, so don't forget a towel and swimsuit! This journey was vibrant and full of history, just like our next stop after the waterfalls: the city of Mostar. Mostar has a unique atmosphere, with plenty of shopping, souvenirs, and delicious traditional food. I would definitely go back there.Written 5 November 2024
- DonnaF80 contributionsMedjugorje, BosniaSuch a spiritual place - the Blessed Mother of Jesus, continues to make apparitions here. Everything you see is a blessing. Stayed at the Hotel Grace which is a very short distance from St. James Church in the center of town. Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain are a must for your visit here. These are arduous climbs (not for the faint of heart), but sooo rewarding!Written 2 November 2024
- jyra20240 contributionsDay trip to MontenegroWe visited Perast, Kotor and Budva. Guide was good and informative. It was a small group tour. We enjoyed the day trip and scenery was amazingWritten 29 October 2024
- John L0 contributionsMostar is unmissable - lovely town, people and surroundings, lots of history! This was a great choice of day trip, Nico our tour guide and Mr Branco the driver were lovely, Mostar and the waterfall and last trip were well worth it; the tour bus was comfy and the whole day was a pleasure, please note your wil leave to wait for passport Checks at the border crossing and this has nothing to do with the tour, once you understand that there will be a bit of delay on your trip, otherwise 10/10 for Supertours!Written 27 October 2024
- connect2source0 contributionsSeamless and wonderful from start to finish!Exceptional experience from start to finish! We were transported in a small van with only 5 of us in total, Our driver could not have been more knowledgeable and enjoyable and provided us with lots of insight into the the balkan culture and recent history! We arrived before the crowds both in Perast and Kotor and had ample time to explore both. The border crossing was a breeze and the drive was magnificent both ways! The scenery is breathtaking and Kotor is a must see! Highly recommend!!Written 26 October 2024

- RutiF30 contributionsGreat day outHad a lovely day with Niko our guide. He was very knowledgable and fun. Lunch was great! I’d recommend bringing a snack as we got stuck in border control for 2 hours (not the guide’s fault!) Overall, highly recommendedWritten 26 October 2024
- J2509DYaustinm0 contributionsIncredible tour with Niko! The trip to Bosnia from Dubrovnik was an amazing time! The driver, Branco, and tour guide, Niko, were both exceptional! Niko was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and provided a one of a kind tour! The waterfalls and free time exploring Mostar were great highlights. This was one of the best tours I’ve been on!Written 26 October 2024
- Suzi M0 contributionsWow! It was a great day filled with fun adventures and beautiful sights! We had soo much fun! Loved the waterfalls and lunch and of course the Mostar city and bridge. We also went to the war museum which really was impactful. Our guide Niko was awesome! So fun and experiences and knowledgeable - we all learned so much! Ask for Niko if u can as u will have a great expedience! Bronco the driver was also phenomenal as we felt safe and comfortable the whole day!Written 26 October 2024
- Marco V0 contributionsNiko is the best guide everNikolas was the greatest tour guide ever. He explained all the historical sites and all the context of the major landmarks. We spent 3 full hours in Mostar and he was kind enough to wait for me 2 additional minutes because I got lost in the bazar but he was patient and fid not leave me behind, otherwise I don't know what I would've done stranded in Bosnia. Thank you Niko, 10/10Written 26 October 2024
- markdI6402TY0 contributionsExpect a long day it’s an experience but there’s better things to do from DubrovnikFirst off this is a very long day. For us it started with a 6.30am pickup. And cannot fault the transportation and connecting minibuse times all ran like clockwork. First stop is the waterfalls. Now this is a beautiful natural place. But the way it’s presented is really quite poor. There’s old sunlongers and pallets lay about. It’s a pretty scruffy place that could be absolutely brilliant. This is probably down to the fact that Bosnia is still rebuilding. The other negative was that for us in October it was too early to go swimming as still pretty cool. (Though I imagine in the summer months it’s an ideal time). The next stop is Mostar and thus is an amazing mix of east meets west. Don’t be sucked in by the tour guide trying to get you to go to a specific restaurant. There’s definitely better ones in the centre of Mostar and have a better view over the river and famous bridge. Finally the village of Počitelj which just felt like the tour guide was on commission from the villagers to send tourists their way. Personally for us as a family with a teen. This was an ok day out but it’s a long way and lots of driving starting at 6.30am getting back about 6pm. If you are in Dubrovnik for a few days there’s better trips to do. Such as the island boat trip and the kayaking around the old city.Written 26 October 2024

This was an absolutely superb private tour of Montenegro. Our tour guide was Nino who was incredibly professional whilst also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend going on private tours if you can stretch your budget as you get such a better experience. There is no waiting around for other people or doing pickups or drop offs. Nino was more than happy to stop at any point if we wanted a drink or a toilet stop. We were allowed as long as we wanted in each location (within reason) so if you preferred one place more then it could be tailored to suit the group. Nino’s knowledge was superb but also his driving was incredibly good, clearly a professional chauffeur at some point. Honestly can’t praise this tour highly enough, the scenery on the drive was absolutely superb and the locations we visited were unbelievable, absolutely loved it, the Bay of Kotor was stunning, a lovely boat trip over to a small island with a church (Our Lady of the Rocks) from Perast, a visit to the walled city of Kotor which draws comparisons to Old Town Dubrovnik and then a stop for food at a lovely sea/bay side restaurant in Budva. Highly recommended. If you have only ine choice between the Montenegro trip andBosnia I would recommend this one (although the Bosnia trip is superb if you can do both)!!!
Thank you Nino!!

Our guide and captain for the tour was Nenad, and he delivered more than we could have asked for! He was extremely friendly and able to discuss all aspects of the region and the significance of each of the stops on the trip. He was also an expert navigator and operator, clearly knowing many of the locals at each of the destinations, making for smooth interactions. I highly recommend this trip to anyone interested seeing the most beautiful scenes of the Adriatic and for great accompaniment of your guide!

Wonderful day trip to Montenegro! Our tour guide Marin was fantastic, so knowledgeable and professional and took great care to make sure that we had an unforgettable experience. He recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch in Budva where we had the most delicious freshly caught seafood. We highly recommend this tour!

The overall experience of seeing Kotor and Persat was good. However the overall cost of the trip in comparison to what you get to see and experience is not worth it in my opinion. 5 hours of the trip is in the car and that’s with short border control delays (don’t go on a weekend, 6 hour border control delays we were told). We went on a Thursday so it was fine. You get to see Persat for 1 hour and Kotor for 3 hours. Lovely places to visit and incredible scenery however not worth the price you’re paying for it. Our driver however was absolutely brilliant, very informative, accommodating and weighted on us hand and foot. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

My adult daughter and I had the greatest time touring with Nino. I was a bit apprehensive going into it as I’ve heard of other experiences where the drivers were unsafe. With Nino, I felt instantly confident in his driving and ability to shuttle us from place to place safely. He was so attentive and caring about our needs and desires for the trip. He was polite, communicative, prompt, pleasant and most importantly had a lovely sense of humor! We even contacted him for a ride back to the airport! I would highly recommend Nino and I will definitely pass his name on to friends visiting Dubrovnik.

Nino was excellent. He was warm, knowledgeable and professional. He took care of all our needs and gave us so much information and accommodated our needs and requests. If you are considering a private guide for day trip to Montenegro, I would highly recommend Nino. And by the way, the place is incredibly beautiful.

Arsenije picked us up at our hotel on time, was very polite, knowledgeable about the history of the area, gave us a lot of information, made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Since we had a private tour we could tailor it to our needs - we could spend more or less time at the scheduled stops, ask as many questions as we wanted, and we did 😁. On the way back we took a different rout that went by this beautiful restaurant “Holiday” with the most gorgeous view of the mountains and the water. We stoped for the picture and stayed for the dinner. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and again - Arsenije was waiting for us and after we were done he brought us safely back to our hotel in Dubrovnik. The experience was totally worth it- very personalized, unique and unforgettable. Arsenije is a very good and safe driver, patient and welcoming! We highly recommend him as a guide and a driver for a long day trip!!!

My worst travel experience. The driver (who is not a guide or anything like that) just takes you to places. You don't have any kind of information about the history and culture of Montenegro. Although the description states that yes, you will only have the driver. I repeat, NO information. I don't blame the driver (Sinisa). I blame the company that sells us something and delivers something else. I felt robbed. I even asked the driver if we would have information about the city and the answer was that I could hire a local guide because he wasn't a guide. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Supertours.

We had a fantastic day exploring Montenegro on a day trip from Dubrovnik, guided by our tour guide and driver, Arsenia. His knowledge of the region enhanced our experience by providing great insights throughout the day.
Our visit started at the Bay of Kotor, an incredibly scenic spot with calm waters and a stunning mountain backdrop. The Island Lady of the Rock was the highlight here, adding a unique cultural and historical flavor to the visit.
Next, we explored the Old Town of Kotor. This charming medieval town captivated us with its rich history and well-preserved architecture. Walking through its narrow streets felt like stepping back in time.
The tour concluded with a visit to Budva, which was equally fascinating with its blend of old-world charm and modern seaside attractions.
Arsenia was a fantastic guide, providing context and fascinating stories that made each location come alive. This trip was not only scenic but also informative and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get a comprehensive view of Montenegro’s beauty and history in just one day!

This was our final tour on a long trip and one of the best ever! After seeing the stunning beauty of Dubrovnik, never thought that Montenegro can come close but it was absolutely brilliant!
Was worried about border control from EU to non EU but they are very organized and quick so long as you have the multiple entry Schengen visa to re-enter Croatia / EU and we didn’t need a separate visa for Montenegro.
The Adriatic Sea continues its beauty down south from Dubrovnik and our first stop at Parast was from the heavens. A beautiful, winter sunny day, serene and quiet (with hardly any tourists on Dec 8!) and a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. And walking the Parast boulevard soothes your soul in ways few places do. Off then to Kotor and the beautiful Old Town (Dubrovnik old town is magical too!) which so much to discover from the St. Tryphon’s cathedral built in 1166 - with an amazing museum on the upper floors - to lovely cafes and stores. Then to the coast side town of Budva with a lovely lunch and stunning views of the Adriatic, especially from up above the citadel and a nice walk in its old town.
All this and back peacefully to Dubrovnik in 10 hours (including a lovely 10 min sea crossing on a car ferry!). All in all, one of the best days on tour and one of the most beautiful countries to visit. HIGHLY, highly recommended … I hope to be back someday to stay.
Our driver cum guide, ZAK, was an absolute delight, who took care of us, knew everybody everywhere, played some lovely music and energized us with his positive spirit, happy vibes and loads of fun. Thank you so much, Mr. ZAK 👍😊🥂

Hi, apart from the price, what are the differences between the private day tour and the full day tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik? Many thanks.
Written 5 April 2022
Hi, we are from US and will visit Dubrovnik for a few days. If we go to Montenegro, do we need to get PCR 72 hours before arrival? We are fully vaccinated.
Thank you

How do we know if we need a visa? From United States and have passport.
Written 16 January 2020
That is right you do not need a visa just a passport and it’s easy to get through the border just avoid commute times.
