Overview

Split Cooking Classes are great for all levels and lovers of food and they are designed to give you an authentic taste of Croatian cuisine. Your class will include a vegetable and fish market tour where we will buy our ingredients from the local producers and fishermen (NOTE: classes are also available without the vegetable and fish market tours. Afternoon classes do not include the markets tour).

Back in the kitchen, we start the cooking process by tasting local wines and liqueurs and then switching on the tunes while our award-winning chef helps you to prepare the amazing meal. All of our chef instructors have worked in some of the best restaurants in Croatia as well as in Europe so as to give you the most professional cooking experience. You will be learning from some of the best food experts in Croatia!

At the end of your class you will enjoy the meal that you have worked to prepare. Food and wines are included in the price.

Enjoy!

What to Expect

Our morning cooking class starts in the local vegetable and fish markets where we will buy all our fresh ingredients (Afternoon classes start at our cooking studio). From there, we walk through the historic Diocletian Palace on the way to our professional cooking studio. Throughout the walk, our chefs will describe the history, significance, and philosophy of the Dalmatian ingredients and palette.

Once we arrive to the studio we will open the wine, pour the drinks and get to work making a traditional Croatian meal. Your instructor, one of our many premier Croatian chefs, will explain the process and assist you throughout the course (they are known to be jokesters, too... after all, laughter is one of our most important ingredients!). At the end of the course, you will take your seat at our dining table and enjoy the meal, the wine, and the atmosphere.

Dobar tek! (Croatian for "cheers!")
