Amazing Tour of Trogir and Split
We had a full day in Split on our cruise but our cruise line did not offer a tour of Trogir and Split. We found Croatian Trails and booked a tour and had Tina as our tour guide. Tina met us promptly at the cruise port. We drove to Trogir and she gave us an in depth tour plus time to explore on our own. We then went to Split where we also had a wonderful tour of all the sights. It was so nice having a private guide as opposed to going on a ship's tour with 25 people. It was fantastic. We highly recommend Croatian Trails and if you can get Tina as your tour guide you will not be disappointed!

    Half Day Trogir-Split Shore Excursion
Had a wonderful time with our quite young but able tour guide Tina of Croatian Trails. She was ahead of scheduled time and had a clearly marked sign of name of their tour company! She was very knowledgeable of the history, facts and local legends and was very funny! She made sure everyone in our group (10 people from different countries) were taken cared of! I would highly recommend this tour company if you are ever in Split Croatia! What a beautiful seaside city worth going back to!

This is the tour that never showed up for us. So we ended up having to set up something at the pier which thankfully worked out really well. We got a call an hour later from this tour guide asking if we were coming and I said well, you didn’t come so we made other plans. I was told that the ship had let them know we were going to get in an hour late, so they notified everybody on the tour that they would arrive an hour later. We never got that notification and I know another couple who did the same thing also never got that notification so it was just very frustrating. The great thing was the customer service was great and we received a full refund and we very appreciative of that , So try but just be careful .

Thank you for your feedback. The other customer you mentioned read the message too late but he received it and you replied to my message about the time change so it was definitely received as you also received the message that we decided to issue a refund due to the fact you took another tour. Perhaps you haven’t read it but it is there in your inbox as even Viator saw it since they also notified you of the time change on the very same day. Considering all this, a 1 star review is really not merited. Regards Croatian Trails

An enjoyable shore excursion in Split and Trogir with Croatian Trails. Our tour guide Maja was friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first visit to Croatia and our tour provided us with some history and background of the area and country. The small group tour was a definite plus.

Excellent historical tour especially noting
our tour guide was excellent - She divulged some unknown historical secrets regards Split & Ancient Trogir.
Well worth the visit for half a day and the rest spent discovering beautiful Split on ones own.

What a wonderful tour we had with Tina - a really enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour. We learned and saw so much with just the right amount of time spent in each place. We were met as promised outside the port gates and left for Trogir. Tina showed us around and even had a group of traditional Klapa singers perform especially for us. We then had time to explore on our own and have a coffee before meeting up again with our driver. On to the Diocletian Palace in Split for a really fascinating tour, full of those little extra stories that you would never find in guide books. Thank you Croatian Trails for a really wonderful excursion.

Trogir was one of the prettier medieval villages we visited on the Dalmation coast. It is small enough to wander about comfortably and has quite a bit to see.

We had a wonderful time touring Trogir and Split with our Croatian Trails tour guide, Tina. Everything ran on time, like clockwork, as they met us at the cruise terminal. Several others on the tour were staying at local hotels and met at the port too. Tina, our guide, was quite funny giving us an "insiders" view of Split, Trogir and Croatia in general. It is one thing to learn much of the history and culture, it is an added bonus to be thoroughly entertained by Tina's humorous commentary. Trogir is a very tiny city, and we visited the old town area receiving a thorough (roughly 1-hour) walking tour. Split was a bit longer as we toured Dioclesian's palace, but like Trogir, the tour was fascinating and fun. The time flew by. Clean, comfortable, bus; excellent, excellent, tour guide, a high value tour that everyone from my 13 year old daughter to my 76 year old mother enjoyed.

If you're on the fence about booking through the cruise line or booking with a local outfit, I can honestly say that I have no regrets booking this, and enjoyed this tour more than the one we had a few days before through the cruise line.

My friend and I were looking for a fun day trip outside of Split during my short stay there a couple of weeks ago and another friend recommended Croatian Trails to me. My guide was very knowledgeable and super friendly, and even gave a lot of great recommendations for me for when we returned to Split, as I was there for another day afterward. We visited some cool places that I probably wouldn’t have known about if I hadn’t opted to do a guided tour. Really had such a wonderful time and couldn’t recommend the company enough!

The bus was good, the guides were great and we had a nice tour of both Trogir (With time on our own) and Split particularly Diocletian's palace. Everything was as advertised and our guide, Tina was a bonus.

Sandra met us and another couple at the port. We boarded the van and were off to Trogir where our driver dropped us off and were given an outstanding tour of the city. Sandra is very knowledgeable and friendly. She clearly explained major sights, the background of them and described the culture. After having some time to ourselves to shop and drink Lattes, we went to Split - a picturesque walled city. Again Sandra walked us around explaining sights, the history and changes that were made along the way. We had a great time
