- reyn0lettee0 contributionsThe tour that never was.Don't even bother. Find another company if you wish to do a food tour while visiting Guatemala. If I could give less than one star, I would! The tour never happened. My friend and I were left sitting in the lobby of our hotel and the guide never showed up. Firstly, I sent a message via WhatsApp the night prior to our booking, to confirm that it was still on despite the 100% chance of rain. The next morning, I called the number via WhatsApp. At neither time did I receive a response. When the time for pick up drew near, I asked the front desk staff to call for me. The person who answered said they were NOT Menu Despierto. When they called again sometime later, the phone was left to ring with no response. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. I am truly hoping that Tripadvisor refunds my money.Written 12 October 2022

This was an excursion from our cruise ship and what a wonderful time. The beers we sampled were fantastic and the food they served was authentic and excellent. We met good, friendly people from the ship and the staff. This is a must do if you'd like to try local craft brews.
