Dennis, our personal tour guide in Panama City, deserves a standing ovation! He arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and had an arsenal of Panama knowledge that could rival a history teacher. His pride in his homeland was infectious—by the end of our tour, I was ready to apply for honorary Panamanian citizenship! Seriously! Our walk-through Casco Viejo felt like strolling through a living museum. Dennis gave us information that gave us pictures of the past with his stories, sharing the history, culture, and hi-lights of the neighborhoods. He also gave us plenty of time to shop for souvenirs (I had to get my cigars) while keeping us on schedule. It was like having a tour guide and a timekeeper rolled into one guide. The highlight, of course, was the Panama Canal. Dennis helped us maneuver the ticket-purchasing process; I should have known to purchase them ahead of time but it’s all good! He made sure we didn't miss the IMAX film on the canal's history which gave me a totally different perspective of the history of the canal. Dennis exceeded all my expectations. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. I’m already planning my next trip to Panama City, and you better believe Dennis will be my go-to guide for every adventure. If you're heading to Panama, do yourself a favor and book Dennis. Your trip will be unforgettable, and you'll probably leave knowing more about Panama than some locals.

We were very fortunate to have Dennis as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the canal and the history of Panama. He was very flexible to provide a tour tailored to our interests. After a fascinating tour at the Miraflores locks, since the timing did not work for us to see a ship go through, he took us to another lock where we could. As we had already been through the old town, he took us on a very interesting and informative drive on the causeway and into the downtown area. He also went out of his way to find us a sloth! We highly recommend Dennis as a guide and thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Great experience! Dennis was very knowledgeable and friendly. He tailored the tour to our interests and took us to areas we had not visited. Since we were staying in Casco Viejo and had already explored the historic area, he drove us around other areas of Panama City before going to the Panama Canal to watch boats pass through. The IMAX movie at the museum was very enjoyable. Dennis let us watch the boats from the observation deck, but was always around to share info and fun facts as we seemed interested. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fabulous day touring with Andre. He was enthusiastic, engaging and an expert tour guide. We covered the antiquities to modern times in Panama in an efficient manner. He helped us understand the workings of the canal and gave us insight into the construction of the canal. He even timed our visit with viewing a ship navigating through the locks. I would have to say that this was one of the best tours we’ve experienced. Highly recommend this tour and guide.
