Great experience!! Lovely food, lovely people & the tour to the markets was a great addition to this experience! We loved it and are definately creating this lovely dishes back in the Netherlands with the recipes we recieved!

Highly recommend! A must do! It was about 4 hours+ and we made ceviche, chicken carimana, tamal and caramelized plantain dessert. We started at the restaurant but walked to the market. (Be prepared for a long walk.) I would recommend they start the tour at the market if possible. The chef Jorge was fantastic & a great instructor! His staff were friendly & excellent assistants to the chef. The food was outstanding - it will be hard to find another restaurant with this great of Panamanian food! It was so good that we went back again to have lunch. Wow!! Delicious.

From the moment we were picked up (right on time) The experience was amazing! John was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch we had was delicious! And the trip to the village was a memory my kids and I will never forget! Highly Recommend..

We booked a private tour as part of a business trip for 11 team members. What an adventure! We saw lots of wildlife -- toucans, sloth, 3 types of monkeys, agouti, iguanas, and a basilisk lizard. And we learned so much about the history of the Panama canal zone. Our guide was knowledgable and impressively good at spotting and identifying animals in the trees. Our half-day tour was a wonderful way to see more of Panama, just a short ride from the city.

I love to do cooking classes when traveling. I think food is the heart of every culture. This is one of the BEST I've taken. Very friendly, the cost and value excellent. It's a small class (on our day we were the only 2) which allowed hands on, a good visual and connecting with the Chef concerning questions . It was the best event of my week stay. Would recommend to others. 5 stars plus!!!

We cooked a 5 course meal and bought the ingredients at the markets. Our guide/chef was excellent. Provided a step by step instruction and provided us with drinks

Our guide, Nidia, was a wealth of knowledge regading the Panama Canal, Panama history, wildlife and pretty much ANYTHING Panama. We were on the water EARLY which allowed us to see Capybara, 3 types of monkeys, iguanas, etc. HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing tour with john, got to see many animals and learned a lot of things about the panama canal and its history. The breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately didn't see many things in the forest

Such a great experience, we would definitely do again! We doubt we’ll come across a better experience, including going to the market, having good conversations, and making great food! We came home and made the tamales for our family…definitely a hit! One thing to know ahead, don’t expect to eat until 4-6 hours after your class starts, so you may want to eat something right before, as drinks were plentiful and they were great hosts! Jorge and Edwardo knocked it out of the park!

Great experience for half-day excursion. Early start was great as we were able to be drop in Panama City around 12:30 to enjoy the Old City and Rooftops before heading back to Playa Bonita with a $10 Uber ride. Our guide Paola was simply the best. Very clear and good historical references. The iPad she us using makes it more interactive. The local brunch at the baseball field was great. Unfortunately didn’t see much animals during the 2km walk but was still an amazing experience.

Everything was great. The tour was fun and super relaxed. The tour guide was great as well. It was a really easy hike and we saw a good amount of wildlife walking as well as from the boat.

Totally impressed by the whole experience. Our guide, Paola, was friendly, charming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and current operations of The Canal and all of the wildlife that we saw!!! Tour was a perfect amount of time and included a stop for a local meal and a stop at a tropical fruit market!!
