- Journey618728271620 contributionsFantastic place to see!Our experience in Belgrade private Tour with Damjan was fantastic. We were looking to experience for Belgrade`s history and Damjan was our perfect guide. We were guided through the city on a beautiful walking tour to visit many excellent places, from pick up at the Airport . Damjan provided Belgade history details plus industry-insider information along the way, and, most importantly, information at each shop. Our Tour was a total experience, all in a single day tour and the highlight of the Belgrade visit. Damjan is such a nice guy, so knowledgeable and accommodating. Truly a memorable day.Written 28 June 2023
- Andrew S0 contributionsThe best tour guide Saran RisticSrdjan Ristic is one of the most informative guides we have had.His knowledge of the sights he showed us in the short time we had was beyond excellent. We were on a tour organised by Emerald Waterways and his detail and the way he explained the history at Tito’s memorial was utterly fascinating. Thank you very much Srdjan for best tour ever. - KatalinTravels0 contributionsStreet Art and Graffiti in BelgradeWe had a fantastic private tour with Ljiljana! Not only was she flexible as to timing and that we had two boys aged 10 and 12 with us, she also made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned a lot about street art, Belgrade and its history including medieval stories. It was an eye opener on all levels! We highly recommend Ljiljana!Written 2 November 2019
- X2633QTmarkb0 contributionsAmazing tour! This tour was one of the highlights of my visit to Belgrade. My tour guide, Lilyana, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and evolution of street art, not only in Belgrade, but in many other parts of the world as well. She is passionately interested in understanding the nuances of this art form. She is a very engaging conversationalist and encourages questions and discussions about the art presented. This walking tour is also a great way to see how street art has captured some of the key historical and political moments of Belgrade’s history as well as the strong influence women have had on shaping this local art form. Overall, I learned a lot about Belgrade, street art, and I highly recommend this tour!Written 1 November 2019

June 2018 • Couples
Four of us visited Belgrade in the 2nd week of June and we had opted for the private tour to Novi Sad and Vojvodina, a day excursion from the city, offered by Explore Belgrade.
It is a fantastic tour, the drive through lush green agricultural Serbia is lovely, the destinations en route are very interesting and steeped in history. For the buffs, it is a very fascinating insight into the region’s past, the glory days, turmoil & upheavals.
The most credit for making this an extraordinary tour however must go to our guide – Соня Девиц (Sonja Devic). Her passion, her deep involvement and insight into the subject, along with her comfort with English language certainly made the tour far more fascinating. She was ever smiling, articulate, quick wit and interactive. She added another interesting facet to the day by introducing us to Cyrillic script! (That is of course how I learnt to write her name in Cyrillic)
I certainly recommend the tour as a ‘must do’ excursion and if you can, insist on being guided by her.
