Guide drove us to Constansa and back. Guide didn't say much about the city. However, I enjoyed the scenery and the free time walking around the city. Overall, a decent trip.

My wife and I had a very nice time with our guide Ionela. She is lovely, smart, an excellent driver, and extremely knowledgeable, She took us to Constanta on the Black Sea and led us to the most important sites of interest and the most scenic spots. We highly recommend asking for her as your guide.

We had a group of 17 people including some young children... not an easy trip to build! However, the tour company was amazing and really listened to everything we wanted and needed. From the bat cave and hiking in the hills, to Bran Castle, to a wine tasting, we felt like we got a truly authentic and unique experience. Furthermore, our guide TB and the sommelier at the winery were awesome people and made sure we were well taken care of. Next time we go back, we'll be sure to book more things through them!

This was a group tour but I was the only one booked so it became a private tour. Alina, my guide, and Gabriel, our driver were wonderful. It was a great trip with lots of knowledge passed on and free time to explore. I would recommend this company to take as your guide.

A great trip, Christian was a wonderful guide. The tour ended up being private, so we had plenty of time to walk Constanta and watch the ocean.

I went on a week long tour and it was excellent. Alina was top-notch. She knew lots of interesting information and the bus was on time, and everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend. I stayed a few days longer, and reached out to Alina, and she arranged for some additional tours, with a private driver. She spoke perfect English and the prices were very reasonable. Would hire her again!

The tour was so fun! Alina was great and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They took us to all the main sites, and gave us good recommendations for restaurants.

My wife booked the tour for us on our honeymoon. She grew up in Northern California and she has taken me wine tasting there a fair amount, so we are pretty strong critics. The tour was absolutely amazing. We saw two very different types of wineries, one very traditional, one very modern. The second included lunch with the wine maker and an extensive tasting. The wine was great, the people were incredible. I cannot recommend this enough. Such a great day!

I spent the most beautiful days! I forgot about the pandemic, I forgot about hard times. we are glad to be able to ride the bus again.

We recently spent three days / two nights on a privately guided tour of Transylvania. Bucharest is a lovely city, but there's a great deal more to see in Romania, and we were delighted with the Transylvania excursion organized by Authentic Romania Travel. Our guide and driver, Emanuel Balaban, is extraordinarily well informed. In addition to the scheduled points-of-interest on the tour, he added some stops that were oriented towards some of our interests, but was able to organize everything in a way that did not disrupt the timing of the original schedule. The pick-up at our hotel and drop-off at the airport made for very easy travel, and the background information added by Emanuel made for a very informative trip. We are planning on returning to Bucharest for the Enescu Festival, with the add-on of a trip to Moldavia, and we would happily book Authentic Romania Travel and Emanuel again.

I cannot speak highly enough about Alina and my tour to the Transfagarasan Highway. The trip itself was breathtaking (I have been recommending Romania to everyone I know since I went!) and Alina was kind enough to help with photos and gifts for back home. The communication and planning was excellent especially since I required special accomodation. They are very flexible! I would consider this one of the most professional tour companies I have ever dealt with and would recommend them highly to any and everyone. My first choice on a trip is to develop a relationship with the people who live there...and Authentic Romania helped me do that. Again, they are the VERY BEST!

The Black Sea was beautiful. We thought it would be packed with people since we went on a Sunday but it wasn't. We took the cable car ride and it gave us a nice overlook from the sky. The walking tour was very nice and we loved the stops at the church and mosque. Our guide was Octavia and he was excellent.
