it is a very banal tour, has no stops in major historical building. it always stops in some shabby neighborhood, feeling out of no where.and it is
not long walk.

i would say the interpretation is mediocre not much interesting stories and not knowledgeable.it sounds like a long blaming to the history with a superficial understanding.
it is not professional. A professional tutor will know to focus on factors instead of judgment.

it is not intriguing and below my expectation. most boring tour i ever had.

Hi, Thank you for joining our tour and for expressing your honest opinion. We are sorry that this tour did not meet your expectations. However, we have reason to believe your opinion is not 100% based on facts, but may be attributed to other factors, such as inconsistent expectations about the tour, political orientation, etc., since the other guests who joined this tour on the same day as you gave it a 5/5 raving review. For the benefit of other guests interested in this tour, please allow me to state the facts: 1. The tour includes stops at the Palace of the Parliament (the most visited tourist attraction in Bucharest, according to INS), the Patriarchy, the Old Town, and Revolution Square, all of which would be considered major historical sites in Bucharest. It is true that we do not go inside any building during this tour, but this is because of the time constraints (i.e. visiting the Parliament takes at least 1 hour). However, we do tell guests the history of the sites they are seeing. 2. It is true that many parts of Bucharest, including very central ones, do not look as polished as similar neighborhoods from other European capitals. This is a reality we are not trying to hide, but to explain to a certain extent through this tour. Bucharest is not Paris, London or Dubai, but this is exactly what makes the city interesting to some people. Obviously, it's not a city to everyone's taste, so some guests may leave disappointed. 3. The content of the tour is based on historical facts (from books, research, documentaries, etc.), as well as the personal experiences of each guide. The content has been reviewed by a researcher with a Ph.D. in history. We are not simply voicing personal opinions about history, but we do encourage guides to share their personal experiences or the experiences of their families under Communism, because we believe this makes the tour more authentic. If anyone who is reading this is not interested in seeing any major sites in Bucharest, does not find Bucharest an interesting or at least an intriguing city, and is not interested in listening to the fact-based history of Communism in Romania, as well as the personal experiences of the guides, then this tour is not right for you. Thanks, Marius

Very interesting tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and a good speaker. It revealed a lot of answers to the questions we had about the state of Bucharest. Furthermore, it was very intriguing to hear about the crazy stories of Romania under communist rule.

If you are visiting Bucharest, you must do this tour. If you are only in Bucharest for a day, you must do this tour. If you are in Bucharest for only 3 hours, you must do this tour!

Andrea was absolutely amazing. The tour was wonderfully curated and we left having learnt so much about Romania's history. Once you do this tour, you will see Bucharests' streets & buildings in a whole new light. I cannot recommend this enough, thank you Andrea for your beautiful stories!
