About
Cooking class includes the preparation of; phyllo doughs, cheese and fruit fillings, štrukli and strudel shaping and baking. Lecturer to guide you step by step. While the štrukli and strudel are in the oven, we will have a stroll through Dolac market, hear a few stories about the traditions and customs of the region, and see the local stallholders selling their produce. After that its back to the kitchen, greeted with the heavenly smell of fresh baked štrukli and strudel in all its cheesy, creamy, fruity glory, not to mention a glass of Croatian white wine to wash it all down.

  • Prepare to roll and stretch your homemade phyllo dough, taste amazing small bites on the market, sip a glass of local wine, and enjoy a few hours of fun, cooking mouth-watering traditional Croatian delicacies. We start with the rich and savoury starter – Štrukli. Fill it with farmhouse cheese, smother with cream and bake till’ crisp and golden. Follow up with a seasonal strudel – plums, apricots, apples etc… whatever is fresh from the market you will roll it up and bake to flaky, crisp perfection.
