It was one of the most intense tours I have ever been on. My tour guide Ibrahim picked me up from my hotel. Communication up front was excellent. He sent me a WhatsApp message about the time of pick up and was prompt on time. The tour was very interesting. Ibrahim is a very respectful tour guide that adapts perfectly to the wishes and needs of the group that he guides. He understood that the tour was overwhelming and upsetting from time to time. He dealt with the emotions in a great way and was very helpful, respectful and also very friendly. And has great humor too. I strongly recommend him as a tour guide.

I had two perfect days with my guide Ibrahim, I can really recommend a tour with him. He knows everything about the different places we have visited together. He is very friendly, attentive and open to all questions about life in Bosnia. His English is excellent.

The Srebrenica Massacre Study Tour is very special and I will think about it for a long time. I would recommend this place to any Bosnia traveler. Especially with a good tour guide by your side, you can learn a lot about this place and the entire history of Bosnia. With a serious visit you can show your respect to the people of Bosnia.

The day tour to Jajce and Travnik was great. It was interesting to visit the medieval forts, buildings, mosques and learn more about them. During the tour you have spectacular views, great landscapes and above all, the impressive waterfall in Jajce. Hint: Try the Ćevapi in Travnik, Ibrahim knows a great restaurant there. The meal was delicious.

I can really recommend the tours with "Info Bosnia Tours" to everyone. Every single tour was great and it gave me the opportunity to make very special memories in Bosnia.

I visited the memorial for my researches on the Genozide.
It was so difficult to stay calm.
I still don’t really know what to feel.
Anger. Sadness. Even happiness for my peaceful childhood.
The speech of Mr. Hasanovic made me so cry!
It so unbelievable what happened infront of the whole worlds eye!
My guide also was such a nice person who gave me a lot of background information on our way to Srebrenica.
It really worth it to go there! Every single second is worth it!!
I recommend everyone, who visits Bosnia to go there and make your own opinion on this brutuality.
I thank Info Bosnie for this great opportunity!

Srebrenica is an "sacred place", travertine should visit once in life.
Our guide Jasmin today was great.
Very reliable and good story telling. Very balanced to explained what has happened: with necessary background, without exceeding and simplifying.
We are very grateful with you all.

We began the tour, booked with Info Bosnia, with our driver/guide Ahmed who drove us through the hillside forests and scenic farmland east of Sarajevo until we realized that we had arrived in the area, suddenly seeing the thin white pillars marking the graves of the over 8,000 victims on the hillside within the cemetery. In a quiet room on-site, Ahmed told us the story of the events of July, 1995 in conjunction with the background of the "Homeland War." As we traversed the rows, looking at individual graves, we observed the "green marked" ones containing the remains of those found within the last year.

Next, we visited the Museum, a multi-storied property where we were able to complete a visit to the first two floors, that told the stories of the victims, perpetrators and international support at that time. We viewed a 30-minute film in the auditorium with in-depth footage of the actual genocide (obviously taken as propaganda of the Serbian troops), highlighting individual stories of what occurred. We were privileged to then have an interview with the Director, Hasam Hasanovic who although a survivor himself, chose to answer questions from the group of tourists on the issues that they wished to discuss. For the next hour, the discussion focused on why the response and lack of justice took so long. One tour guide who was also a survivor, gave an emotional and emotive reflection on his experience as well. We then toured the Memorial, set up in the actual factory occupied by the Dutch troops tasked with keeping the peace in the area. Here we learned about the efforts of the Mothers of Srebrenica to get redress and international acknowledgement in the years since the massacre. There were also exhibits of items found in the mass graves, with photos of each victim and short biographies. One wall displayed photos of all the famous people who came to the memorial including Bill Clinton who fostered the Dayton Accord, ending the war. Our last stop was to the town of Srebrenica from whence the population fled to the security of the international forces, where we observed the war damage to some properties and the strange juxtaposition of a church and a mosque on the same square.

Ahmed told us that this is the most challenging tour he does, given the memories of having lived through that time. Would I recommend this tour to other tourists? I will answer by saying that back in Sarajevo, when we told locals that we took this visit, they thanked us profusely for doing so, some with tears in their eyes.

We stumbled onto the info Bosnia office and were very impressed with the friendly and professional service. Unlike other tour companies they take their time to talk to you and give you as much information as you need. In the end we wanted to go to Belgrade and they were able to modify the tour to first see the sites and then take us by van to Belgrade with a great homemade breakfast along the way and water from numerous springs. Credit to Asia for a great trip and great explanation of the politics and history behind the massacre. Also the visit with the grand mother is a must do, she is great.

What can I say!

It was a moving experience. My kids 18 and 21 came along in this tour. We live in Canada where the realities of human suffering in a grand scale can only be “experienced” through the lenses TV. Unfortunately, through reporting there will always be a point of view that can either be biased, unilateral or not do justice to the whole story and events.
I found this tour moving, emotional and holistic. We experienced the beautiful landscape with mountains, rivers, an emerald green lake and the breathtaking rural countryside. We immersed ourselves in history, not just the resent more difficult one, but also the better times. We had a lunch with the sweetest local grandmother who was kind, funny and had no idea what we said as her English was as good as our Bosnian. Through the day I felt the scars of the last war through the monuments and present underneath the many beautiful faces we encounter on our way to Srebrenica. However and more importantly we also witnessed the amazing strength and resilience of the people and how all is in the process of rebuilding and growing.

I particularly enjoyed the interaction with our guide Asim. He was very knowledgeable and discerning of what we needed to hear and experience in our private tour. He was kind and understanding. One of my kids suffers from severe anxiety and sometimes things can be difficult around her, however he was so playful and amazing and made her and all of us feel at ease. We laughed and learned and saw the land through his unbiased recounts events.
If you want a real experience with the sad, the beautiful and the extraordinary Srebrenica has to offer, this is your tour. If you want a fun, full of knowledge and memorable experience Asim is your guide!

Dear Tourist, Thank You very much for amazing review and time invested in writing it! I must say that I was thinking for a long time what to write as a response to Your review. Usually, we do not address reviews on the personal level, as everyone can read them, but I just had a need to say this. Your family is amazing! Your daughter is spectacular and I was able to learn a lot from her! I am very grateful for the opportunity to be Your guide and improve my understanding of human nature. I learned a lot from You, and I admire You because You are a strong woman and wonderful mother. You are an inspiration! Your friend, Asim
