    What to Expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Blagaj tekija, Blagaj village Localita Blagaj, Blagaj 88201 Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj will be our first stop, some 15 minutes of drive south-east of Mostar. The famous well of the river Buna located there represents the largest source of karst in Europe. A 200 meters high stone cliff with a cave complex in it is located above the source and it is an unforgettable sight for all visitors. The water comes from a 15 meters wide cave, it is freezing cold and clean and a lot of endemic species of trout found their habitat in it. Next to the source, a 16th century Dervish house – Tekke is still one of the most mystical places as well as one of the most important cultural and historical monuments in all of Bosnia&Herzegovina. An opportunity to have fantastic coffee/tea with a traditional local fig-cake “smokvara” at the base of the spring of magnificent river Buna should not be missed.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The historic urban site of Pocitelj, Pocitelj BB on the left bank of the river Neretva, Pocitelj 88300 Bosnia and Herzegovina

Počitelj, a hidden jewel of Herzegovina lies on a hillside that makes a kind of amphitheater and overhangs the turquoise Neretva River. This pleasant settlement is located 30 km south of Mostar on the road to the Adriatic coast. Its special Ottoman architecture and Mediterranean style blend of which give this town a special dimension, makes it a real gem of architecture. This unique stone town has been inscribed in 2007 on the Unesco World Heritage Tentative List. The fortress was built in the late 14th century upon the order of the famous Bosnian King Tvrtko but Počitelj is mentioned for the first time in writing in 1444 as the seat of the parish. Počitelj is a real, open-air museum and a much cherished place by numerous artists who, in this magical scenery, find inspiration for their works of art.

Besides its beautiful oriental architecture and Ottoman feel, Počitelj hosts the longest operating art colony in southeast Europe. Artists from around the world gather here to paint, among other things but importantly, the shiny red pomegranates and figs that grow in abundance on the hills of Pocitelj. Walking around the city feels like taking a step back in time. Here you will see amazing architecture, city walls, mosques, art studios and many more. Definitely have you cameras on standby. There is also a fresh organic fruit market and authentic local art and craft stalls.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Roman Villa Mogorjelo Archaeological Site, Mogorjelo bb, Capljina 88300 Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the road to Kravice, in Mogorjelo, we will visit the remains of the first Roman villa in this area.

In the complex of this national monument there is also an authentic restaurant with local specialties, an ideal place for lovers of fresh sea and river fish, delicious eels on a spit, as well as a top quality indigenous domestic wine.

    Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Kravice Falls, Neretva valley, Studenci 88300 Bosnia and Herzegovina

Kravice is one of the largest waterfalls in Herzegovina and certainly the most impressive one. The waterfalls have a natural pool dug out at the base of the falls by the constant rush of refreshing water. It is a favourite local swimming hole with a picnic area, cafés and restaurants. We will enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Trebižat River and walk beneath the Kravice waterfall, we will have some time here for an enjoyable and leisurely swim (if you are doing this trip in summer time). If you prefer to relax, there are plenty of gorgeous spots in the shade from where you can enjoy the spectacular views and take some amazing shots with your camera.

    Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Hum Mountain, Mostar Bosnia and Herzegovina

You will be driven to the top of the hill Hum above Mostar for great panoramic views of the city so that your guide can explain you about the geography of the area and show you a lot of spots that we would visit during the tour. Limestone hills, small fertile pockets of land following the river flows, flocks of sheep and goats grazing and endless fields of vineyards will capture your imagination instantaneously.
