Overview
The Peruvian coastline is teeming with native marine life—both above and below the waves. On this tour, enjoy an up-close encounter with some of the sea’s boldest inhabitants—wild sea lions. Following an optional hotel pickup in Lima, zoom across the water by speed boat with your guide to swim among the sea lions in their natural habitat. Stay warm in your neoprene wetsuit, and replenish lost energy with a snack afterward.
What to Expect
Head to the marina club in the morning, or upgrade your tour to include a handy hotel pickup from the Miraflores district. Then, hop aboard your speedboat and zoom out toward Palomino Island and the Guanera Islands nature reserve.

Pass San Lorenzo Island, and listen as your guide sheds light on the area’s rich pre-Colombian history. Spot fishing boats bobbing on the waters, and keep watch for native bird colonies and Humboldt penguins.

On arrival at Palomino Island—home to a large colony of sea lions—climb into your neoprene wetsuit and jump into the rolling waves. Splash among the wild sea lions, and enjoy an up-close experience with one of South America’s finest swimmers. With no natural predators to worry about, the sea lions can be surprisingly bold.

When your time in the water comes to an end, enjoy a snack with sweeping views over the soaring cliffs and hidden islets on route back to the marina club.

Hello Jenny, am not sure what do you mean with the entrance fees. There are no hidden fees in this trip. You just book the trip and here you go :)

Hello, it is def a half day trip as you will be back by the afternoon. The ride is approx 20-30 mins then you have some spare time to change into the swimming suits and swim with the sea lions.
