About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- tashao9580 contributionsFlexible and AccommodatingI had a great time! I had just half a day and wanted a tour in the evening and I felt like this gave me all that I needed in just a few hours. My guide and chauffeur were very flexible when I changed my pick-up location twice and the team was very responsive on WhatsApp. They took me away to see the fountains showing me the highlights and making sure I got to watch the story on the fountains and then took me to the very romantic downtown area which was full of life even in the evening. I was able to ask all my questions and was given a lot of flexibility when I needed to step aside and answer work questions. I highly recommend this tour!Written 19 September 2024
- ElizabethEC0 contributionsGorgeous at night with no stress!Wonderful and easy way to see Lima at night. I was travel g solo before meeting a tour group and I booked this experience with the hope of getting a broad view of Lima at night and taking photos. Juan Carlos, our driver, navigated Lima’s busy traffic beautifully, and Carlos, my tour leader, made the evening memorable. He provided lots of historical context and he navigated me around the busy Water Park perfectly. When we visited Historical Lima we stopped for. Pisco demonstration and tasting. Yum! I am so glad I booked this tour! Pro tip: if you are in Lima on Sunday, book a tour for that day as traffic is more manageable.Written 16 September 2024
- iman_liu20190 contributionsGreat Experience to Explore Island and DessertThe trip was bit long, other than that, we really enjoyed the boat tour and was able to a variety of sea animals and birds. The desert by the sea in reserve had great and unique views. The restaurants the guide brought us were clean, upscale with reasonable price. It’s a good trip over all.Written 12 September 2024
- Katrina F0 contributionsGreat experience.Great private tour. My tour guide was Carlos and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Excellent host and took all of my pictures as a solo guest.Written 16 August 2024
- Inspire168706669160 contributionsAn important history tourOur guide Carlos was very informative, his English was superb and clear and he was able to discuss the complexity of the terrorist period and the government's response. The museum is well organized but all in Spanish so havinga guide was crucial for us. Taking us to the Cross made of old tv towers allowed for great.photos from a high point on the city. Well worth doing to gain a better sense of the modern history of Peru.Written 27 June 2024
- M435XDka0 contributionsRojas is a wonderful tour guide.Rojas is the best. I went with him on bird watching and also the Catacombs. We also went to Chinatown for dim sum. He is a dedicated and excellent tour guide. Intelligent and funny, he will entertain you and also provide lots of information. Sign up with him. You won't regret it.Written 6 May 2024
- Jean J0 contributionsVery educational and interestingWe had a great tour Our guide was informative, polite and friendly The transport was very comfortable The museum was so interesting and we had no idea of what a struggle Perú had experienced We were very pleased we chose this tourWritten 20 April 2024
- D1999YHdawnt0 contributionsLoved Seeing the City Lit Up!It was wonderful to see Plaza de Armas & Plaza San Martin all lit up at night. They were places that I would not have explored solo in the evening, so it was wonderful to have a great guide like Enrique. He also took me to the amazing Magic Water Circuit and it was so efficient to be guided there because Enrique knew the area so well. It is a large park, and without guidance, I would probably have missed a lot of the fountains. I really enjoyed being with Enrique who shared his amazing knowledge about Lima. I highly recommend it!Written 2 September 2023

- ZoweeC0 contributionsBusy streets, the “real Lima”?Safe, interesting: a good view, a bit of clothes shopping, a good walk around. Interesting, busy, noisy and easy. If you’ve travelled in Asia you’ll feel right at home!Written 4 June 2023

- 51kelvinm0 contributionsSurpassing all expectationsWe planned our trip to Peru with the sole intention of going to Machu Picchu. We planned 2 days in Lima then 5 in Cusco where we planned to go to MP. I booked the hostel in Lima because it was close to the airport and offered free pick up. Just before we arrived in Lima we were informed that tickets for Machu Picchu were sold out for at least 3 weeks after our trip. We immediately checked online and this was confirmed. So I asked Carlos, the owner of the hostel, if it was possible to fix some tickets. Not only did he get us some tickets he came up trumps in every aspect of our trip: when we told him our flight time to Cusco he worked out everything to fit our itinerary perfectly. From planning our drop off at the airport in Lima to our arrival in Cusco, to our pickup the following morning from our hotel in Cusco, to dropping us at our bus to MP town(he even combined trips to the Maras Salt Planes & Sacred Valley on the way without us even asking which themselves were great experiences). From there we were escorted onto a nice train where the scenic journey took us through the mountains and dropping us at Machu Picchu train station where we were met by Rosa, our friendly, efficient and very professional guide. She escorted us to the ticket office where we registered for our tickets the following morning. She then escorted us to our hotel and gave us thorough instructions on what we were to expect the following day. The next morning we were met by our lovely guide William, who with his calm, relaxed, yet very methodical and professional manner made our morning perfect beyond words. We have been planning this trip for years and had such high expectations, thanks to the professionalism of Carlos and everyone in his team our trip to Machu Picchu surpassed all our expectations. We can’t recommend this company enough- if your experience is only half as good as ours I can guarantee you will still have an unforgettable, life-changing experience. If we come back to Peru again, without doubt Carlos will be the first person we contact to book our trips.Written 18 September 2022

My friend and I had some extra time in Peru at the end of a business trip, and decided to book a tour of Pachacamac because it was relatively close by, and fit the amount of time we had. We found a tour done by “Peru Best Price” which had good ratings, even though the most recent rating was over a year old. That should have been a red flag for me.
Our pick up from the hotel was supposed to be at 9 AM, but by 9:15 AM they had not shown or emailed to say they were going to be late, up so I contacted the company. The phone connection was poor so they contacted me on WhatsApp. I asked the driver what the problem was, and he said that they could not do the tour today because of “COVID-19 policies“ which he claimed required that you book reservations “5 days in advance.” I told him that there was nothing on the website which specified that, and that the system allowed us to select the date and time we wanted, and that I was unhappy. He then advised he was going to contact the facility, and a few minutes later wrote that he “might“ be able to get us an afternoon tour. I told the tour operator that would not fit with our schedule, and said that if we had to book 5 days in advance, why is it we would be able to do an afternoon tour, but not the morning tour that we bought, and he had no response.
I told him it was very poor customer service to make me have to track him down to find out why nobody had shown up, and his response was that we could ask for a refund!
My advice is to avoid this company at all costs. They will not contact you, will leave you high and dry, and then when you press them on something, their answer is that you can ask for a refund. I am sure there are better tour companies out there, and I would never use these people again. I also do not know why Viator has them listed as an available option, when it is pretty clear they have such poor customer service.

Carlos my guide met me at the hotel and we spent 3 hours touring Lima and the incredible Pachamac location. He is a senior guide with the Ministry of Tourism and was allowed to drive his vehicle within the National Park, other guides and guests had to walk a fair distance to see the Temples. We climbed the main Temple and also took me to see a convent next door from the Incas. His knowledge of the different civilizations and how they evolved allowed me to have a clearer picture of the base of the Inca Empire. I would recommend this tour highly.

My husband and I did this tour on our first day in Lima. Our guide, Jean-Paul, was so knowledgeable and gave us the history in such an interesting manner. The site is very much worth the visit- it was an amazing site and we learned so much about the history of Peru. Stopping at Barranca on the way back showed us another personality of this diverse city.
I highly recommend this tour and this tour company. The guide and driver were outstanding.

While on a cruise we stopped in Lima. We took the ship shuttle into town and were dropped off at a shopping center. We arranged for Carlos to meet us at a hotel near the shopping center. He was just awesome. He was on time, had very easy to understand English, and was so informative about the ruins as well as Lima and Peru, in general. At the ruins we were given an English speaking guide who accompanied us through the museum and then joined us on our drive through the ruins. Then both guides walked with us around the ruins, as well! How lucky to have such wonderful guidance by two knowledgeable individuals! This private tour was so much more enjoyable than a group tour and it was half the price! Thanks Carlos! Loved the restaurant in Miraflores you recommended as well!

Barranco is a lovely artist quarter and it would have been nicer to spend longer. However the whole tour was quite long. Pachacamac is worth seeing. Ain't is a huge site, and Enrique led us through the main parts efficiently. It is a dusty place so wear suitable clothes, but Enrique provided water.

We are arriving on the Holland America Oosterdam on the evening of November 29. Is this tour possible from Callao on the morning of November 30 or December 1...we depart at 6 pm on December 1st? There will be 4 or 6 people aged 65 + who are interested in this tour.

How much time actually at the site itself? Not including the transportation to and from the site?
Written 30 August 2019
We spent a little more than an hour there. There is a museum to walk through. Then we drove through the site, stopping at view points. We also got out of the car at a few places and took walks around some interesting areas. We had a guide who seemed to really want to tell us everything that she knew, sometimes more than we really wanted to know. But she was very nice and had wonderful intentions.
