5 stars. We really enjoyed our experience. Great food and cocktails. Jesus was very knowledgeable and friendly and it was a very professional setup. Can’t recommend highly enough. Definetely the best thing we’ve done in Peru.

A must do experience if you are in Cusco! Jesus was extremely accommodating with my allergies. His recipes are absolutely delicious!! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the day.

The cooking class and tour was amazing! Learned so much in the market tour and was able to try local fruits, cheese and chocolate before the cooking portion even began. Chef Jesús was engaging and funny while making multiple courses and cocktails. Would definitely do this tour again!

We met Jesus at the San Pedro market where we tried some exotic Peruvian fruits, chocolates, and cheeses. He gave us an introduction to the market and showed different types of potatoes, corns, and other vegetables. It was already so much fun and this was just the first part. We then were supposed to walk to the studio but it started raining heavily. Jesus went above and beyond here and booked us a cab. We arrived to this beautiful studio with a nice cooking area already set up with the ingredients needed to get started. We started with a drink, Maracuya Sour, followed by Causa, Tamales, another drink (chicha punch), and ended with the Peruvian national dish, ceviche. During the entire cooking class, Jesus taught us cooking techniques, told us interesting stories from his past and answered all our questions. His assistant Lucy was always there replacing our used utensils and bowls with new utensils and next ingredients so that we were very efficient with our time and didn't feel rushed. In the end, there was also a dessert, Piccarones and chicha morada drink. I would advise going to this experience with an appetite because we literally had a four course meal. Jesus is accommodating towards vegetarian and vegan variations and has things prepared if you let him know beforehand. It was a memorable experience for both me and my wife and we will enjoy making these dishes again and again.

We would highly recommend this cooking class. The food was good, we learned a lot about peruvian food and many other things about peru. The studio was nice and clean.

We loved this class and Jesus was fantastic. The market tour was fun and I ended up going back again to the places he took us - especially to get more chocolate! The class itself was well-paced, and his assistant Luci made it so easy for us to just cook and not worry about the mess. We had a blast and I'd say it was one of our favorite memories of being in Cusco.

This tour & class was exceptional. Jesus was very friendly & easy going. I was waiting at the wrong meeting locational & Jesus hung around for 15minutes until I found him. The market tour was really fun & exciting & I got to learn things by being with a local that I otherwise would not have had access to. After the tour we walked to Jesus’s kitchen where his assistant was waiting with all the ingredients prepped & ready to go. The kitchen space was very clean & inviting. The drinks & meals we made together were way better than I could have imagined. I learnt so much about Peruvian food & culture. Jesus has sent me all the recipes already & I will definitely be using them when I get home. I highly recommend doing any course with chef Jesus!

Jesus provided a wonderful experience in Cusco visiting San Pedro market to buy fresh produce followed by a short walk back to his studio to participate in making several Peruvian dishes and a couple of cocktails. A great experience and good value for money. Jesus was warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable regarding local dishes having previously worked as a chef for several years. I would highly recommend this experience while visiting Cusco.

We went to the cusco market to learn all about the Peruvian products and to buy the ingredients for our lunch. The recipes were easy to follow and tasted and looked really good. The 2 self made cocktails rounded up the experience. Can recommend this tour!

Jesus is a brilliant chef. He took us through the Cusco market to gather the fresh produce then expertly guided us to create delicious dishes and cocktails. He threw in a few secrets from his vast experience and heritage. Such a great way to understand the Peruvian culture through their wonderful food. Highly recommended. Don’t miss this if you’re visiting Cusco.

Fun experience and we learned a lot while eating some of the best foot on the trip that we made. The market tour was a good compliment to the actual cooking lesson.

A vegan cooking class in the middle of Cusco, who would’ve thought?! The menu offered delicious traditional dishes and 3 equally delicious local cocktails. Although some ingredients were prepared on our behalf, Jesus explained the process for us to understand. You could really see his experience as a chef and the techniques his learnt along the way. It was amazing to walk through San Pedro markets which we probably would have missed if it wasn’t for this class. Jesus had a lot of local contacts and relationships with the shop keepers too! A must do whilst you’re visiting Cusco! Thank you for having us and sharing your knowledge and recipes!
