About
Visit Pachar, located 8 kms. from Ollantaytambo, where you will find the Via Ferrata, a climbing route 300 meters high. Here you will have the opportunity to climb a mountain with a safety system permanently installed, for which you do not require any previous experience. While climbing, enjoy the mystical landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon completing the ascent, enjoy an energyzing snack while you admire the spectacular scenery and recover your energies. Then climb 100 more mts until you reach the second cable of the canopy or zip-line, which will allow you to fly over the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in a very safe and fun way. Through a pulley suspended by 6 cables of 100 to 500 m (with a total of 2000 m), located in an inclination, you hook the cable through a pulley fixed to your harness and you will be impulsed by gravity, sliding from the top to the bottom, increasingly losing speed as you approach the end of the cable.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Curious7687680 contributionsCuscoIt was an interesting trip where we learnt about the Inca culture. Unfortunately, my wife felt the effect of the high altitude to enjoy it more. I would have preferred less standing and listening to the tour guide. I know he liked to share with us as much as possible, however there were so many beautiful views which we missed by standing around. I would have preferred to be given time and place where we would meet and do some exploration of my own.Written 11 November 2024
- Robert S0 contributionsCusco City TourMartin was an amazing guide. His knowledge of Cusco and all the sites was tremendous. I would definitely recommend him for this tour.Written 24 September 2024
- E2256PWmh0 contributionsPachamama is everythingDespite booking the Cusco city tour? We weren’t quite sure what we’d see. We had a great guide. We saw mostly Inka sites and saw the impact on these by the Spanish occupation. We had time to enjoy the sites and understand what they were all for - wonderful.Written 16 August 2024
- BruceD6620 contributionsHenry Luis Renteria Tour Guide Extraordinaire!Through Lima Tours were we had Henry Luis Renteria, who was absolutely the BEST guide. Not only was his knowledge of Cusco and Inca history limitless, he brought a true passion to his subject. He also somehow was able to make last changes in our schedule involving Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and train schedule, that were above and beyond the call of duty, or the capability of ordinary tour guides! He helped carry my pack up Huayna Picchu and made arrangements with another excellent guide for us named Saul for Rainbow Mountain. This guy made our trip over the top exceptional!Written 7 August 2024
- guillermoc5100 contributionsBest vacation. This has been the best planed vacation that I have ever experienced with a travel agency. I purchased this package with Hectours from Puerto Rico and they coordinated with Lima Tours in Peru. The level of professionalism since the moment that I booked this trip, the drivers that picked us up, the guides, the WhatsApp constant follow up and attention. Everything was excellent. The hotels and the places that we visited were awesome. Even when our plane and train got delayed the drivers were constantly connecting with us and letting us know not to worry that someone would be there waiting for us was a lot of comfort. Great job! My only comment is that this was a very busy and tight schedule which requires at least a day of rest every three days and should be recommended by the travel agent. Nevertheless this vacation was great.Written 28 June 2024
- Cathy3820 contributionsA good insight into Cusco and the Surrounding area. The trip was varied as it visited local archaeological sites as well as buildings within Cusco itself. The guide was informative and took time to explain the history and local customs. The driver was very polite. We also visited a local craft centre and were able to feed Llamas and Alpacas - it was nice to see these roaming around the grounds rather that enclosed in pens.Written 1 June 2024

- Andy F0 contributionsGreat way to see the key sites of CuscoExcellent tour. Our guide Freddy was excellent. He told us enough about the sites we visited without so much detail that we were overwhelmed with information. The Inca sites are a must whilst in Cusco. The cathedral doesn’t look much from the outside but is a big wow inside. Great tripWritten 14 October 2023
- nuriatc20230 contributionsNot the right guide. The guide didn't try to make it interesting. He was boring, slow, and didn't organize the timetable properly. We missed almost all the places worthwhile seeing in Cusco city center. He was more eager to take us to a shopping center not planned in the visit than to explain the nice buildings in Cusco to us. Very disappointing.Written 19 July 2023
- IsabelF3120 contributionsInteresting but Too LongIt was a very long tour. It took over 5 hours to visit all the sites. Our guide was knowledgeable but clueless about the lack of interest of our group on his detailed explanations at the cathedral which was our last stop. He also was kind of repetitive in our previous stops. For me this tour would have been much better if the cathedral would not have been included and just cover the Inka fortifications and temples. The temples themselves were amazing to visit. Really great viewsWritten 12 June 2023
- atisb0 contributionsSurreal experience near ollantaytamboWe came here after a visit to the archeological site at Ollantaytambo. It was fixed by our tour company. We had nice lunch with excellent folk music. We didn’t expect it would be so nice experience. The musicians were delivering the authentic music from the high valley and possibly Inka culture. Overall it was a nice experience at Ollantaytambo.Written 22 February 2023
- pill_wen0 contributionsInka Grill is just superbMy husband and I toured Peru for my 40th birthday in Sep 2019. We were starved after a full day tour so decided to grab a quick bite at the Inka Grill restaurant in the Cusco Main Square. One of the beef dishes caught my eye so I decided to give it a whirl and oh my word was I impressed :) The 'Lomo Saltado' is a combination of beef stir fry with vegetables, white rice and chips; coming from South Africa where the braai/barbequeing of red meat is akin to a national pastime, the beef was the most perfectly cooked I have tasted even till today. Everything on the plate was well flavoured, the gravy was divine. It was so good that we went there a second time and I ordered the same meal, another gentleman on our tour ordered the same and was just as impressed. Inka Grill, keep being superb!Written 9 January 2023
- IdaJ760 contributionsReal authentic Peruvian foodI really enjoyed my lunch here. The owner warned me beforehand: no pizza here. And that was not what I was there for-I was after real Peruvian food, which was exactly what I got. I got the best food ever, an entre (soup) and a delicious chichen stew. All made with really fresh ingredients, no canned food or food additives. I liked that they offered two sauces, so I could adjust the flavor to my liking. Plus a coffee to cure my tiredness and a very tasty lemonade. The restaurant itself had a great ambiance, decorated with local products, it was a place you could relax and fully enjoy your meal. I went by myself, and had a great time, did not feel weird. I enjoyed how swift the food was served; no extra waiting. The waitress was nice and really attentive. I enjoyed the food so much that I got soup as take away for supper this day and the next. Their take away service was also great.Written 28 November 2022
