About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 326danicab0 contributionsPretty good experience overall! Ask for Roger! :) Our rating for Roger is 5+ stars! We had roger as our guide and he was incredible! He took tons of pictures for us and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip! Pretty impossible to do as a vegan, bring protein powder! Food wasn’t the best so pack snacks and make sure you bring cash! I was disappointed no where on the trip provided water. Bug spray/ sunscreen is a must and wear long pants in the jungle to avoid bug bites.Written 10 October 2022
- Carol56531250 contributionsI loved the rainbow mountain tourThey picked us up at the hotel in Cusco and we drove for about 2 hours until our breakfast, to then continue and walk through an adorable and incredible nature, it is a bit strong, but it is worth doing the walk, since the reward is in nature , and our guide Roger, super professional. Thanks, highly recommendedWritten 11 July 2022
- Lindarplusfour0 contributionsPatiently waited for me to make it through the mountain.I am a little overweight and have trouble with stairs. The guide was very patient and made sure things went at my pace. We were picked up at our Airbnb very early to begin the trek. During the car ride most slept but I took advantage of asking the guide lost of questions. Roger was extremely knowledgeable on the history and culture of Machu Picchu and the Inka. We then boarded the train to Machu Picchu where we were able to have breakfast upon arrival. There were options of finer restaurants as well as restaurants for locals. Roger stayed with us throughout the trek up the mountain and through Machu Picchu he kept the children engaged and was able to explain things in both Spanish and English so the kids would understand. After we returned he showed us a great place for a late lunch. He also informed us of how to get to the thermal baths that we passed on as well the shopping market before he departed. We returned by train to find the driver waiting for us at the town ready to drive us back to our Airbnb. I know that if Roger hadn’t been our guide this would not have been as wonderful an experience as it was. We were guided privately which was a treat as we saw many tour companies trekking around with large tour groups. I feel like they would not have waited for me to catch up or answered all our questions. Additionally Roger was a great photographer and pointed out many photo spots and even did some reels for our teens to be able to post on Instagram.Written 21 June 2022
- jhonn3453450 contributionsSuper Adventure ExperienceSimply an adventure, the 4 days are great. The first one we enjoyed biking in down hill until we arrived at Santa Maria, a small town with a warm climate and in the afternoon, after a delicious lunch, we went rafting, I really enjoyed it. On the 2nd day we hiked all day, an incredible hike, we walked through the hills, we crossed the river through a cableway, our guide Roger chose the best, and we reached the thermal baths, on the 3rd day, wuouuu zip line, one one of the best I have ever done, and in the afternoon another walk to reach Machu Picchu Pueblo or Aguas Calientes, and on the last day, we visited one of the 7 wonders of the world Machu Picchu. in the afternoon we chose to return by train, the agency very kindly also helped us to get our train ticket. I highly recommend it. Thank you¡¡¡¡¡Written 29 May 2022
- Florian7730 contributions4 day Salkantay trekReally enjoyed the 4 day Salkantay trek. Food and accomodation on the trek were really good. We weren't too lucky with the weather, but even on a cloudy day Machu Picchu is worth a visit.Written 9 December 2019
