Our guide was wonderful and made me feel welcome as a solo traveler. He made my day more meaningful by providing me with insights and information as a solo traveler. Exploring the mysterious beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas was a great way to be alone with myself and understand this ancient region. - 969ferdit0 contributionsWe Had a Great DayBefore participating in the tour, I had heard many positive things about the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and this tour exceeded my expectations. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and he gave us detailed information about the region's historical and cultural wealth. This route, which is full of stops on the way to Machu Picchu, was not only full of scenery, but also impressive ruins of the Inca civilization. We had the chance to shop at the Pisac Market and admire the local handicrafts. The lunch was also delicious, and we had the opportunity to get to know the local cuisine better. Our guide made our tour even more special by telling us interesting anecdotes and stories about the region. I would like to thank him for patiently answering all our questions. In short, this tour was a truly unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas.Written 12 January 2024
- Katharine K0 contributionsThe Sacred Valley: An Unforgettable Day with Jose TitoMy friends and I took a day trip to the Sacred Valley, and I will never forget the experience. Our guide, Jose Tito, brought the Inca history and culture to life for us. Ollantaytambo, Pisac, and Moray all showed us the grandeur and achievement of the Incas. With Jose Tito's guidance, we were able to better understand these places. Throughout the trip, we also saw the breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains. Jose Tito told us the stories behind these landscapes. Jose Tito was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, and welcoming. Our day with him was an unforgettable experience. The Sacred Valley is one of the most unforgettable trips you can take in Peru. I highly recommend visiting this magical place.Written 11 January 2024

It offers a unique opportunity to learn about Inca history, culture, and natural beauty. I recently took a day trip to the Sacred Valley and will never forget the experience. I was captivated by the magic of Ollantaytambo, Pisac Market, and Moray. The breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains will also stay with me forever. This trip was also a great opportunity to strengthen my friendship bonds. We hiked together, learned new things, and had a lot of fun. - _V7300FI0 contributionsThe Sacred Valley: A Must-See for Inca History and CultureThe Sacred Valley is a must-see for anyone interested in Inca history and culture. I had the opportunity to visit the Sacred Valley last month while on a trip to Cusco. This enchanting place is home to ancient Inca ruins, terraced fields, and sacred stones. A one-day tour will allow you to see the most important sites in the Sacred Valley. You will visit the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, the colorful market of Pisac, and the mysterious terraces of Moray. Ollantaytambo fortress is an example of the Incas' defensive strategy. This impressive structure showcases the Incas' military and engineering skills. Pisac market is a great place to buy local produce, handicrafts, and souvenirs. In this colorful market, you can find products from all over Peru. Moray is a series of terraces that the Incas used for agricultural experiments. This mysterious place is an interesting place to learn about Inca agricultural techniques. There are other things you can do in the Sacred Valley. You can visit the Maras salt mines, take a boat tour on the Urubamba River, or just relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley. The Sacred Valley is one of Peru's must-see destinations. This enchanting place is a great way to learn about Inca history and culture and experience the stunning scenery of the Andes Mountains.Written 11 January 2024
- Mitul D0 contributionsFour Day Ruins Tour CuscoI did the tour of the 4 day ruins and it was great. I found this tour incredibly spiritual given the significance of the sites of Sacsayhuaman and Paka Pakura. Our guide Jose was amazing. Lots of knowledge and very well versed on the local culture customs and Inca people. He gave a true reflection of the Incas and their culture. Jose was very informative and a great character. The tour was extremely well run and on time. Would highly recommend them.Written 6 January 2024

- TBWtravel0 contributionsRich, cultural experienceWhat a wonderful way to see so many different part of Cusco! We did the Super City Tour and our guide Jose Ttito was so knowledgable and answered our endless questions. It was amazing to see places locals frequent, like the San Pedro market, and learn the history and culture behind the beautiful Inca ruins. I especially loved seeing the Last Supper rendition that featured a cuy inside the Cathedral of Cusco! So many details about the Inca ruins would have been lost on me if we had visited on our own. I'm so glad we had Jose to paint the rich history for us and point out details we would not have known to look for otherwise. Highly recommend the tour as a way to experience Cusco!Written 25 April 2023

Our tour guide was Jose and he was amazing! He was so knowledgeable, passionate and kind. We got to see so many different sites and learn so much. We would not have been able to see a lot of the places on our own and definitely would not have learned as much without a guide. We cannot recommend the tour and Jose enough!Written 27 March 2023

This was one of the best days I had in Cusco. I happened to be the only traveller in the group and I definitely got the VIP treatment!
Jose and his brother Jimmy were incredibly welcoming. Jose gave the tour in excellent English, he was able to answer all my questions on Inca culture and history. As a lifelong citizen of Cusco he was also able to give me an insight into the culture of modern day Cusco which I would not have found anywhere else.
Looking down over the city from Q'enqo I pointed out the city's Estadio de fútbol, Jose mentioned that there was a match against a rival team from Lima that evening and invited me to attend with some of his family. I took up the offer and it was a fantastic experience! Obviously this cannot be expected for every tour but shows how willing Jose was to go above and beyond to welcome me to his city.
A 70 soles tourist pass will cover admission to all sites on this tour, though if staying in Cusco a 130 soles pass will give entry to many more attractions. If visiting the alpaca farm, note that the alpaca merch is expensive (at least by Irish standards). It is possible to give a voluntary donation of any amount by visa or cash.
Also, for anyone intending on visiting Qorikancha, know that this site is not open to the public on Sundays.

We happened to be the only one on our tour so it was nice to have a private tour at no additional cost
It was convenient pick up / drop off from our centrally located hotel & water was provided.
Jose was very knowledgeable and passionate about Cusco & Inca heritage. Antonio was a good driver – we felt safe in the car & avoided very busy parking lots at drop off/ pick up locations at each site.
Pace of the tour was great. We’d been at Machu Picchu the day before so we were a bit tired & could take it easier. We had plenty of time for photos & appreciated that Jose offered to take our pics whenever we wanted.
We bought the Tourist Ticket circuit #1 at the first stop which paid for our entry into each of the four ruins on the tour for 70 soles. We didn’t see the cathedral which was listed as a stop, but we also didn’t ask about it as we were tired from the long morning (tour was 10am – 2:30pm). As others have noted we did stop at an alpaca/llama farm where we could pet the animals and buy some gifts from a little shop on site.
Side note: I received six emails since the tour asking for me to write a review. They look automated and duplicates but still a little annoying.

My mom and I booked this tour and it FAR exceeded expectations. Jose was our tour guide and Antonio was our driver. Jose was knowledgeable, polite, kind and excited to teach us about the Peruvian history of each site. He never rushed us along and spent extra time to bring us to bring us to Manos de la Communidad, an Alpaca and Llama farm and art center where they sold handmade, legitimate products including colorful tapestries and sweaters. Sales support the families/artists. As two women traveling alone we felt very safe. It was only the four of us, even though we were not expecting a private tour. It was a great way to get oriented to the city and sites. This tour is worth it!!

Seemed rushed and didn't get to explore Sacsayhuaman. The guide spoke so softly I couldn't hear him, even after asking him to speak up. The other 3 sites were ok... Nothing spectacular. The llama/alpaca farm was cute but had same prices as stand alone stores in Cusco. I'd recommend only if you want to kill half a day getting used to altitude, but would not recommend this tour if you actually want to learn about the sites.

good day. We understand your apprehension. and we are surprised by your comment because on the tour there is no need to be in a hurry. In the tour we have a sequence of visits to each archaeological center. The guides who work for us speak with a moderate voice and it is not necessary to speak very loudly when tourists pay attention to the explanation. The visit to the llama farm is to go see the llamas and alpacas and see the differences between them and buying them is not an obligation. The other comments from the other tourists in your group is very different from yours. We would appreciate your opinion. many thanks..

Jose Tito was phenomenal! He was on time, patient with our kids, 9, 12, and 14, and answered all of our questions. He was very informative about his country and city and went above and beyond to meet our needs with drink and snacks. He took a lot of family pictures for us which is something we don’t have many of from this trip.
We 10 out of 10 recommend his service. You can’t go wrong!

Our guide, Tito was very informative and passionate about the tour which made for an immersive and rich experience. The sites we visited where breath taking along with the views. The Alpacas and Lamas sanctuary / traditional weaving farm was also a great experience.
Finishing of in downtown Cusco at the Catheradal and tying everything together was well done.
Definitely a tour worth doing. Just beware that you will need cash on hand to pay an entrance fee to enter the sites which we where not aware off ahead of time.

We booked our Cusco City Tour Four Ruins Hald-Day Tour on short notice while in Cosco. The tour was really nicely organized with unexpected pickup at our hotel (though we were ready for meeting at the designated pickup location, the tour guide reached out to us the night prior via WatsUp, offering hotel pickup and other pertinent details of the tour). We really enjoyed the tour with a visit to ruins surrounding Cusco, Alpaca farm with craft boutique, and finish at the temple of the sun. Our guide, Jose was great and he took exceptional care of us. His command of English was excellent and his knowledge of history and customs was impressive. We could not be more satisfied or more grateful to Jose for his kindness and his sense of humor. We highly recommend the tour with Andes Peru Tour and Adventure, it's unbeatable value and pure pleasure.

Our trip ended up as a private tour and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Our guide Jose communicated our pick up time in advance, arrived right on time, and took us to the best sites in Cusco. We were amazed by the beautiful views of the city of Cusco and the surrounding historical sites and the knowledgeable guide explained the history of the region. Jose and our driver Antonio went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to take care of all of our needs. English is our first language and Jose spoke it like a native speaker. We finished off the tour at an Alpaca and Llama sanctuary where they sold authentic products to support the local farmers in the area. Thanks for an amazing tour!

We did the tour with Jose as guide and it was one of the most interesting and best organized activities that we had during our Peru adventure. Jose was super friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. He adapted the pace of the tour our needs so that we could really enjoy ourselves. It’s great that they only do small group tours, so we can highly recommend Jose and Andes Peru Tours.

We are so happy we booked this tour. Our guide, Jose, is fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and brings life to these historical Inca sites. You can tell he has a passion for his work. He never rushes, is considerate and patient, always ready to answer questions. We would highly recommend this tour and Jose, for anyone visiting Cusco wanting to visit the ruins, also if seeking an English speaking guide. Ask for Jose and you will have a wonderful experience.
