We travelled with kids and going down to the sacred valley straight away definitely helped get used to the altitude. We toured all of the sacred valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu private and it was all fantastic. Thank you so much for making our trip unforgettable!Written 9 January 2025

- naomie6850 contributionsAMAAAAAAAZING TRIP!Wow- what a trip!!!!!! I cannot recommend Into Peru enough. From my indecisiveness in the booking process, to precise and on time transportation throughout the trip, to amazing ideas and trips- I cannot fault a single thing!! They made a once in a lifetime trip even more special than we had ever imagined! We didn’t have any issues, but the team in Peru were on hand and checked in frequently incase. We felt safe and supported the whole time. Patricia managed to jam my many ideas into one action packed and varied trip, with special touches and amazingly detailed organisation. Honestly, amazing from start to finish. It’s hard to make Machu Picchu any more amazing- but the whole experience certainly managed!! Can I do it all again please??Written 5 June 2024
- shania4640 contributionsGreat ServiceThis company was recommended to me by a friend and boy they did not disappoint. They always respond swiftly and assisted me in planning my entire trip to Lima and Cusco. They took care of all transportations, hotels and excursion bookings. The guides they use are top notched. They are knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The agents assigned to me were always there on time consistently. And ensure I was always properly prepared for my next day of activities. I didn't spend that much days so I need to revisit Peru and I for sure will be using Into Peru again. They make traveling so much earlier.Written 4 June 2024

- Bronxwood0 contributionsBest of Perú in seven daysI had the opportunity to plan my full week in Perú with Patricia. It was a wonderful experience from the tours to the accommodations to transportation. We started off in Lima for two days and spent 6 days in Cusco. The tour guides offered us their expertise in history and culture. Peru’s cuisine captivated us and the landscapes definitely surpassed our expectations. Our highlight of the trip was definitely visiting Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world! What an amazing experience, I highly recommend them.Written 29 April 2024
- katherinerN3353QL0 contributionsInto Perú is amazingInto Perú is a great travel agency. They planned our trip from day 1. We visited Perú and Cusco. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our drivers were always on time. The tour guides were exceptional. They have an amazing team. We went to a Cusco City Tour, to the Sacred Valley and to Machu Picchu. Into Perú, organized all the transportation, hotel stays and the entrance to every place. I definitely recommend them. - johnwD208XZ0 contributionsBig family trip round Lima and CuscoOur whole extended family (over 20 of us!) did our dream trip to Peru. After a lot of trying to plan everything ourselves we came to the conclusion we just couldn’t manage it so we got Into Peru to help. They took care of all of the planning which meant we could forget about everything but having fun which was priceless. We toured Lima and Cusco, with a memorable visit to Machu Picchu. Some of our group did the Inca Trail and the rest of us met up with them in Machu Picchu. We all had a fabulous time! Thank you so much for taking all of the stress out of our trip, your help was invaluable and we loved your restaurant recommendations in particular! The food in Peru is awesome. Highly recommended. Thanks again!Written 12 April 2024

- IshitaP80 contributionsAmazing Astonishing Astounding.. Highly recommend!!! 😊I don’t usually write reviews but this one is well deserved Into Peru. Firstly this was one of the most organised tour operator I have ever seen.Starting from getting prompt response on WhatsApp/emails to scheduling video calls to go through the itinerary, the dos and don’ts , the packing lists..We felt a lot more at ease considering we had heard horror stories related to safety, altitude sickness etc. Patricia you are a star !!! We had a customised 3 day tour and airport pick and drop off and we were three girls travelling all the way from London. On reaching Cusco Into Peru guides helped us with every query and request we had. We had different guides helping throughout our 3 day tour but each and every guide were equally good and friendly. They were constantly in touch via WhatsApp as well ensuring we were happy and enjoying our trip to the fullest. I would definitely recommend Into Peru as one of the best !!! It very unusual to get tour operators as thorough as them. Thank you once again Into Peru !! We have made memories we are going to cherish forever..thanks to you !!Written 22 March 2024

A group of 4 of us took this tour and all of us thought it was great. Great guide, comfortable transport, amazing scenery and unexpectedly good meal afterwards. The guide was really attentive and wary that a few of us were taking our time due to the altitude.
Glad we did the private tour so we could fully take our time and enjoy the glorious views.

So glad we did this tour, we didn’t fancy the arduous trek we’ve heard about for the Vinicunca rainbow mountain. This tour drops you off at the base of the beautiful palccoyo rainbow mountains and you can walk at your own pace. It’s still a bit tiring due to the altitude but it certainly wasn’t too hard.
We were glad we chose Into Peru as they were organised and punctual and the service was faultless. They picked us up at 7am to let us get some sleep which was much appreciated after a lot walking on this trip already! Very highly recommended!

We were so glad we did this tour, the tour guide and transport were great (be prepared for a long but scenic drive with good stop offs on the way back for nice, local food and to see some signs). The Palccoyo rainbow mountain was one we had seen on Into Peru's Instagram and was on our bucket list during Covid. We were so pleased to be able to finally go once Peru opened up again. Along with Machu Picchu (which we did with Into Peru too) this was our favourite part of our trip to Peru. The weather was mixed but we got some great views of the mountains and enjoyed how the guide took his time with us and took some good photos. We highly recommend, just be aware that it is at high altitude so take your time to acclimatise in Cusco before you go.

Loved this tour. Not only did we get to see Rainbow Mountain but from this location you can see a huge rock garden and nearby snow covered peaks. Much less walking to get to the first overlook (15 min.). When we visited there were only 60 people total at the site. My wife is a slow hiker because of a foot injury and she did the entire circuit with no problems or rush.

This was a great trip to see a new attraction in the region. It’s a long trip (Into Peru warns us of that), but well worth it to see such magnificent landscapes.
We were picked up at the hotel at the time we agreed (we asked for a slightly late start). Williams was our driver and Américo was our guide.
Williams is a great driver. He managed to get through small roads, negotiating the traffic in such a way that I thought wouldn’t be possible.
Américo is very knowledgeable and patient. He answered questions about the history and culture of Peru along the way. We got in a bit of altitude trouble when we got there. He encouraged us to continue for some time, with small breaks here and there. His support and encouragement allowed us to not give up and see more that we would have without his help.

We waited since Covid to go to Peru and we it was so worth it! We chose Into Peru to plan our whole 10 day trip as they had great attention to detail and were very personable.
We started in Lima, went to Cusco, Rainbow Mountain and the jungle in Puerto Maldonado. It was all marvellous and the country and people are so varied and full of culture.
We were looked after well and everything was planned perfectly. They even helped with some amazing restaurant recommendations. The food is INCREDIBLE!
Thanks to all the Into Peru team, you were amazing!

Into Peru were fantastic from the planning stage through to all of the details of the tours. We toured around as much of Peru as possible, starting in Lima then around all of Cusco (Machu Picchu, rainbow mountain, Humantay lake, Maras and Moray) and Puerto Maldonado. We loved it all, we had great hotels, incredible food, great tour guides. We fell in love with Peru! Into Peru helped to take away any concern for planning, we just had to turn up every day. They told us the details for the next day every evening and were always punctual.
We had an amazing time and highly recommend Into Peru!

I highly recommend the service provided. Into Peru's team behind the scenes as well as the guides and drivers were all excellent. The tour ran like clockwork which enabled us to enjoy the mountains in all their glory. We enjoyed the food too, thank you! We will be recommending you to all.

Decided to do this Palccoyo Rainbow mountain as it’s the newer and less visited of the two mountains. It was definitely worth it as you get to see 3 rainbow mountains and the rock forest up close without many other visitors. Our guide Freddy was very knowledgeable of the area as well as the towns we passed through along the way to get to the mountain. The hike up is short but at this elevation we took frequent stops to catch our breath - encouraged by Freddy along the way. We got some amazing pictures there and Freddy even took some pictures of me and my wife using our camera. They look great!
The road in is a bit bumpy and beware of the altitude. Otherwise I would highly recommend this experience!

Normally I wait until I’m home to write a review, but I didn’t feel this on could wait. First, I organized this with a woman named Patricia who was fantastic. She was thoughtful, helpful and extremely responsive. The day before our day trip I heard from Alex. He is the reason I am writing this only a few hours after my trip ended. Supposedly my children checked the vehicle for their belongings, but one left his iPhone behind. We were notified by Alex after Darwin (our awesome driver) found it. Alex drove to our hotel to return it to us. I have no doubt he had to drive a ways to do this and I am so grateful. Regarding the trip itself…amazing. Absolutely stunning and so incredibly worth it. My advice is to acclimate as much as you can (we were only in Cusco about 36 hours prior) and then drink water every 5-10 steps. If you feel a slight headache, drink water. My kids made it to a great viewpoint of the first mountain. Darwin took them back down and looked after them. My husband saw all the mountains but opted out of the final push. Our guide, Americo, and I made it to the rock forest. It was awesome. It felt like their were rainbow mountains everywhere. Walking down was so easy. Americo cheered me on every step of the way. I HIGHLY recommend this group.

Written 3 May 2019
Hi, we recommend that those doing this tour are at least 12 years old. As well as highlighting that the hike takes place at up to 5000m above sea level and participants may experience altitude sickness. Please get in touch if you have any more questions!
