          Excellent!
They prepared us well before; answered my questions within 24 hours. The taxi driver navigated us past dogs, cows, TukTuks and slow drivers on both legs. Our tour advisor was Luis A. Excellent! He was highly knowledgeable about history, agriculture, religion, sociology and the building of Machu Picchu. Our 2 hour tour went by so quickly but was thorough. Highly recommend them

Best guide for Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley.
Gary has a lot of experience example: he advised us to wait a little bit before going to Machu Picchu so that we got less rain (it’s rain season). It worked: we had NO rain and got great pictures.

Awesome MachuPichu Circuit1 experience by Fredi from ‘MachuPichuLatinAmerica’
Fredi ~ Tour Operator from MachuPichuLatinAmerica did an awesome job in scheduling, booking the MachuPichu Circuit 1 activity in the last minute for 12/25 at 10 am . He ensured the itinenary was shared and clear with the detailed instructions. He also ensured that the pick up and drop off at various points from/to hotel; train ride from Ollantaytambo to Auguas Calientes; Bus ride from Auguas Calientes to MachuPichu along with the lunch was well coordinated and orchestrated. Will look forward to doing this trip once again in the future with Fredi.

Great way to get away from the over toured sites and be exposed to more local culture.
I highly recommend this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Everything went according to plan. Great opportunity to see other sites Cusco that are not overrun with tourist. The scenery was beautiful, we learned a lot, and had more exposure to local culture.

Machu Picchu great! Booking experience not good. Driver in return trip horrible!
Machu Picchu is great. Guide is only ok, but his videography is good. App not clear how to book salt mine side trip and missed. The biggest disappointment is the return ride to the hotel. Driver took the whole gang to the wrong address about 12 min. away. One tourist has to jump ship and order a taxi. I hope he made it to the airport on time. Driver did not announce his intentions of how to drop people off. He was extremely rude and said no when I just needed to jump into the hotel for another tourist to do a number 2. Why, he had to pick up his wife around the corner! After a long while, finally found my hotel. Totally destroyed the great trip to just a trip!

          A must see!
This tour was incredible, high recommend! Gary was informative, professional, prompt, and overall made the entire experience, it would not have been the same without him, everything went off without a hitch, and luckily it did not rain and we had a full view of the mountains, Gary also knew all of the photo ops opportunity and took incredible videos of us, highly recommend!

          Unforgettable!!!
Hands down one of the best tours I have been on. Luis Hermoza Ramirez made this experience one of a kind. He answered the millions of questions we had about Machu Picchu in such detail and care. I fully was immersed in the beautiful history. We felt such kindness from Luis not only as tour guide but as a friend. He also acted as a professional photographer for us making sure we got pictures in spots with the BEST view points. If u want Instagram photos Luis is your guy! All the transportation was very smooth and I felt incredibly welcomed by everyone along the way. I recommend for families of all ages.

          Great Tour Guide and View
Great tour of a beautiful location, our tour guide Luis R was very informative, patient, and fun, making the tour a very light hearted experience with a comfortable hike. Machu Picchu was incredible, and the small details shared really made the trip. His research and experience truly shone through, and Luis's insight was always great (w photos too). Would totally recommend him.

          I would not recommend
Terrible from start to finish. Ahead of time, asked what to pack and was told a backpack and carryon is okay. 2 days before, when in Peru was told only a small backpack is allowed on the train. - Had to purchase an expensive backpack at the airport - Had to purchase a raincoat as I was never informed to bring one (as people on other tours were) - The guide was 1 hour late to meet us and NO ONE INFORMED US!!!! So we sat around waiting!!!! - I was given a different ticket than what was communicated by Fredi Massively disappointing and he did not care!!! -The guide, although nice, told us NOTHING about Machu Picchu. When questions were asked he told stories about his own collection of artifacts, past clients stories, all about how dogs and children love him, what he does with his tips, where he has traveled, etc. -Booked a trip advertising Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu, but never went to the Sacred Valley! Huge disappoint. By far the worst tour I have ever been on. I informed Fredi of all of this and he does not seem to care one bit. No apologies, no effort to correct anything, no care in the world. It’s a money grab. Avoid at all costs!!! Full of excuses about how he forgot to write something, which ended up as my misfortune and he didn’t seem to care or take responsibility. Not trust worthy and zero accountability! UPDATE: I requested a refund through the booking company and it was Rejected. Then I wrote to the tour company again, explaining all the above for the 3rd or 4th time. Finally, when I sent them screenshots of what I booked, which was supposed to include Sacred Valley (and did NOT) they finally agreed to a partial refund. After which, they asked me to remove my reviews- I informed them I would not remove them as this is an accurate description of my very bad experience, but that I would update to include I received a partial refund after my relentless efforts.

          Amazing Mountain views
The tour was very well organized. From start to end. The highlight of the tour however was our guide Jose. He is so passionate with the Incas history that he manages to pass this onto you. I really hope he could have been with us on Puno as well.

          Awesome tour and great service!
We had a great experience with Machupicchu Latin America! Fredi was awesome putting together our tour and let us change things as needed. He was very professional and responsive while we were in Peru too. We were greeted every step of our journey with a Machupicchu driver and/or guide. Our guide was Luis and he was fantastic!!! He’s a walking encyclopedia of information about the Incas and everything about Peru. Very funny and fun to be around….he engaged with each of us in the tour and his English was great! I would highly recommend this tour company for any if the tours on their site - and especially Luis as a guide.

First, The Itinerary was on point! No hiccups throughout which is outstanding in itself considering the complex coordination of transportation that included vans, trains & buses plus a very decent accommodation at Aguascalientes for an overnight stay for my family. I highly recommend upgrading the train ride to the Vistadome and the admission tickets to Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins which both sites build up to Machu Picchu the following day.

Second, our guide was key that enriched our experience with history, agriculture, culture and his passion ensured we were completely satisfied with respect to all the senses. Michael introduced the Choclo, a must try for everyone. He shared his local knowledge of plants, architecture, food and he had thorough knowledge of Inka ruins; and he definitely knew where the breath taking views were to take priceless pictures with my family and to share with friends.

A complete turnkey service from Cusco. Simply get to Cusco and book your hotel/AirBNB and hand it over to Machu Picchu Latin America and prepare for an amazing experience that will exceed your expectations.

Thank you Michael and Fredi for the priceless memories and keeping my family safe.

        We appreciate you!

We had a great time from start to finish, thanks to our passionate, knowledgeable tour guide, Gary, and the lovely driver, Roman.
We requested for a 6-days, private tour, with 2 days for each of the city: Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. All the site seeing, transportation, communication for those 6 days was perfectly taken care of. Gary's amazing wealth of Inca knowledge and Andean culture have turned all the key sites into a beautiful yet tragic painting of history. Along the way, It was truly wonderful how Gary not only shared with us about history of the sites, but also about animal/livestock, special plant species, and the way of life. The experiences we had with the tour and with Peru are truly amazing and will be remained with us forever. We definitely recommend this company, which is owned and operated by the Peruvian themselves.

We booked a 6 person private bus tour which picked us up from our hotel and took us all to the various sites. Booking with Machu Pichu Latin America was very easy and Fredi was very accommodating with adding a second excursion the night before it was set to begin. He even met with us around 8PM in our hotel lobby to finalize the itinerary for a second hiking trip.

Our guide Gary (Garcia) was energetic, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Inca and colonial history of Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley. The guide and driver were always on time and kept us on schedule without feeling we were being rushed. Gary also always knew the best times to visit places and the best locations for pictures.

Overall we had great trips and I would recommend others book with Machu Pichu Latin America.

Gary, Ramon, and Fredi made our trip to Machu Picchu intimate and unforgettable! Our group was only 4 people, which made it easy to move around and get to know each other. I won't cover the full itinerary, but Gary did a great job of keeping us informed of each activity, and truly taught us so much about Incan and Quechuan culture!

The first stop of this trip was at Manos de la comunidad, where we fed and learned about llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, and their importance to the people of Peru. Thanks to Gary, we also had the opportunity to interact with a friendly baby condor and get some great pictures with the animals! We then learned about dying and weaving processes, and how to determine if something was really made from baby alpaca. Gary taught us about the burial processes of the Quechua people, and many other cultural practices.

Besides Machu Picchu, we stopped at many other ruins, including Pisac and Ollantaytambo, and Gary made sure to keep a good pace so we had enough time to see everything without feeling rushed or too tired. He was very open to questions, and often offered to take pictures for us, which was greatly appreciated!

Initially it seemed like we may have needed to walk up 1.5hrs to see Machu Picchu since locals at Aguas Calientes were organizing a strike, but Gary went above and beyond to keep us updated on what was happening and our different options. He sacrificed sleep and meals to ensure we'd be able to take a bus, which was a relief since it did not seem like an easy walk up.

Overall, Gary was an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful guide, who worked hard to make sure we had a good time. He often communicated different options we could do, and taught us so much about Incan/Quechuan culture. Ramon's driving deserves a shout out as well, as he navigated some bumpy roads with ease. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Machu Picchu

Customer service with Machu Picchu Latin America is outstanding. The other reviewers have all mentioned this before, and I just want to say it again that they really take care of all our needs. We had the great fortune of having Gary as our guide for the Moray and Salinas de Maras tour, and also the two day tour of Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Gary was only supposed to be our guide for the Sacred Valley part of the tour, however on the day of there was a train strike (5/19) and we were not able to take the train from Ollantaytambo to Agua Caliente. Fredi, the owner of the company, instead arranged for Gary and our driver Ramon to accompany the three of us passengers all the way to Santa Teresa in a very comfortable van. Gary then guided us to walk the six miles along the train track into Agua Caliente (with lovely scenery along the way), just so we could still visit Machu Picchu the next day. Gary really took care of everything the two days he spent with us, checking us into a very good hotel, arranging dinner, meeting us in the hotel to take us to the bus station in the morning, and guided us in Machu Picchu, then arranging lunch before putting us on the train back to Ollantaytambo. When we stepped off the train, Gary and Ramon were already there waiting to take us back to Cusco. Even though we couldn’t tour the Secret Valley due to the train strike, we had a perfect day in Machu Picchu including climbing the very tough yet very rewarding Montaña Machu Picchu, and it was largely thanks to Gary. Gary’s passion for the mountains is also very contagious. It really made us want to come back to do the Inca Trail one day. To make it short, I highly recommend this agency if you want your Machu Picchu experience to be hassle free.

My sister and I had a wonderful time! First we visited an alpaca farm and fed them food, then we visited 2 archaelogic sites in the Sacred Valley with awesome views. The train to Machu Pichu was OK, you are required to wear a double mask and a face shield inside and no food. We had a Voyager ticket but honestly this train car is only a bit different form the normal one, so i don't think the upgrade is worth it...
Our tour guide Michael was fun, social, and able to answer any and all questions. On the first day, we went for dinner together as a group. Michael asked for a Pisco Sour show and we got to see how it is prepared and of course tasted it :)
The hotel stay was decent, with breakfast.
On the second day, we took a shuttle up toachu Picchu, it is the only way to get up there. Climbed to the upper platform with Michael's guidance. It was very foggy and we were disappointed however Michael told us the main thing to be patient and wait. We were getting anxious but Michael assured us it will clear up and indeed the wind and sun helped and got to see Machu Picchu from the top. The view is breathtaking ! We then walked down and strolled around the actual town with Michael explaining about the history and more
After riding back down, we had a couple hours to ourselves, some people went to lunch or walk around Machu Picchu town. We went to Banos thermales instead and relaxed for a bit.
Another train ride and a bus ride back, and we got back to our Cusco hotel. It was a great trip, in a comfortable van and the timing was kept like advertised. Also note that our group was only 7 people and it was perfectly small. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend to everyone!

Some of the downfalls of tours is that it becomes too generic and robotic. This was NOT the case for our tour. We were promptly picked up from our hotel in Cusco in the morning. We were in a group of 8 people and our tour guide, Miguel (Michael) was so genuine and warm throughout. The stops that we took were all wonderful - from feeding alpacas, seeing a rescued condor, visiting baby alpaca shops, and meeting family owned diamond shops, not only did we get to explore the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, but we were able to absorb a lot of Peru's many culture and history. Miguel was so passionate to share about his heritage and culture, and I love that so much in any tour that I take.

We had lunch in Urubamba at a buffet, and cost 65 soles (not including drinks). From there, we drove to Ollantaytambo. Before boarding our train, we hiked up the Archaeological Park, which, believe it or not, was more challenging than Machu Picchu. Miguel shared with us about rock formation representing the Inca God.

We stayed at Hotel Ferre in Aguas Calientes and got a lovely room with a view of the stream. The room was loud from the stream. It may not be a cup of tea of some, but it was certainly a great night sleep for me.

One thing I would change with the tour for Machu Picchu is to add an extra hour in Machu Picchu. When we got back to Aguas Calientes, there was so much time to spare before we had to board our train back to Ollantaytambo.

What really got me emotional was when Michael said how thankful he is that we chose this tour, as he said one thing I will never forget: "This gives us hope". We all know by now that COVID truly affects the hospitality and tourism industry, but for other countries like Peru, tourism is a big contribution to their GDP. What will never change from this is that tourism to Michael is not a job, it's a passion. And I felt his genuine compassion all throughout.

Everything from booking to execution was flawless.

Once we booked we were contacted by email/WhatsApp to make sure all our questions were answered. We were given a very detailed itinerary to help us understand what was coming up. This was a turnkey tour all we had to do was show up and enjoy.

Our tour guide Bernardo went out of his way to make sure everyone in the group was comfortable and made all the necessary arrangements for our luggage to be secured so we can enjoy our time. With altitude sickness slowing us down Bernardo was extremely patient and supportive.

If you’re looking for a Machu Picchu tour, I highly recommend working with Machu Picchu Latin America tours and Bernardo as his knowledge and kindness makes the trip more enjoyable.

My wife and I undertook a package of tours with Conde Travel - all were led by the very talented Willy. Our package comprised a half-day city tour, Sacred Valley tour, Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain hike. Willy also provided airport transfer services.
Our tours were originally booked for 2020, but, of course, Covid got in the way. Conde was extremely responsive through this period and carried our bookings through to October 2022 when we eventually were able to make this trip.
Willy is one of the Guide Gods, up there with the best we have experienced anywhere in the world, and we travel a lot. He is extremely well organised and punctual; and, more importantly he is a very knowledgeable, friendly and generous with his time and support.
We very strongly recommend Willy as your guide and Conde Travel as your agency. They will ensure that you have a sensational trip! Mike & Munny

Gary was just an amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable about his ancestors and passionately gave information while keeping the tour moving. He even squeezed in an extra trip to Pisac ruins which was not on our original itinerary. Such an enjoyable experience and would recommend for anyone only next time I will book a longer tour to soak in more scenery and history. Book without hesitation.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
