        Machu Picchu with Inkayni
Have been in many places of the world and listen to many guides . Most of them are common but Wilbert was by far the most passionate, informed and with a credible answer for any question . He talked in such a way that was easy to follow and understand about the inca culture . Never in too many words and never something boring . And a great photografer too .

        Great time on Inca Trail
J.C. was our guide and did an amazing job. I could never have completed the trek without his patience and help. Mario was an incredible cook and our meals were delicious.

        The Journey is the Destination!
One of the best travel experiences ever! Best guide, Freddy and best chef, Herminios, and the rest of the local, professional Chasquis team were all so helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful trek, wonderful food, lots of breaks to absorb the beauty, and learn more about this once in a lifetime destination and its rich history and culture.

If you go to Peru, do this Trek
Best part of my visit to Peru by far. Awesome people, both the guides and the chasquis were a blast to hike and eat with. I was with Freddy and Jonathan, they were great about making sure the pacing was flexible and comfortable, sharing info about the land and sites, and showing everyone a good time. The hike was spectacular as well.

Very beautiful, challenging and inspiring hike and Freddie and Jhonathan were amazing guides, we learned about the history while hiking and were able to appreciate what it meant to be there. All of the chaskis were superheroes and the chef Herminio made incredible food. They took amazing care of us

Excellent 4 day Inca trail with Inkayni and Freddy!
A great locally owned tour company. Our guide, Freddy and his team went out of their way to make the trek a great experience. Freddy is an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable in the history, culture and environment of the area. His team of Chasquis were great too, we couldn’t have made the trip without them. The cook, Herminios, made excellent dishes in the middle of nowhere. Inkayni was great we’ll definitely use them for future tours! Make sure to ask for Freddy and Herminios.

        unforgettable experience
非常好的一次旅行经历,我们的导游 Wilbert 从第一天在酒店接上我们开始,一路安排好了妥当了所有行程:汽车接送,来回的火车,还有无与伦比的景点讲解。马丘比丘让人流连忘返。 It was an amazing travel experience. From the very first day, our guide Wilbert picked us up from the hotel and perfectly arranged everything along the way: transportation, train rides, and detailed explanations of the breathtaking landmarks, including the incomparable beauty of Machu Picchu, which left us in awe. Truly unforgettable!

        Always The Best
Last year I did the 4 Day Inca Trail solo with Inkayni Peru Tours and I was very happy with the experience. This year I did the 7 day Salkantay Trek and Inca Trail Tour with three other friends. That is three days visting the Humantay lake and then over the Salkantay pass at 16000 feet, and then the standard 4 day Inca Trail. Inkayni is a local, small company and the service was amazing as usual. Paul the tour guide was incredible, as was the chef and all the porters. Paul was extremely knowledgeable, taught us a lot, was able to answer any question we had, kept us on schedule, and made sure we were safe. I will definitely be taking more tours from the company, but after visiting Machu Picchu three times I probably won't be returning there for a while. The hiking was very challenging at times but doable. It is very important to think about every item you take, and only take what you need. Most of the time the scenery was stunning and constantly changing. December is a summer month in Peru and it is the rainy season there so you need to be prepared to sometimes hike in the rain, but at night on a clear night the stars are impressive.

Unforgettable adventure, it’s not easy but it’s worth every steps !
I took this Inca Trail Hike to celebrate my Birthday. Our guide Paul, & the crews ( chef and porters ) are the best people that I have met in my life. They were genuinely care to us. I had really hard time with high altitude. I couldn’t sleep the whole journey. I basically had 50% of energy, but Paul patiently accompany me and helped me to carry my back pack. On my Bday, the chef made Bday cake !!! I was so touched, I had happy tears. It’s journey physically, spiritually and emotionally that I won’t forget until my end day.

        Fantastic 4 day hiking experience
This 4-day hike was a perfect mix of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural learning. The carefully planned route kept things exciting and challenging without being overwhelming. Though we are experienced hikers with multi-day treks, there were beginners in the group who also had a wonderful time. We were met on day 1 by our guide Yiyo (Gigo), who helped us acclimate before the start of the trek on day 2. This was crucial if you are not accustomed to the high altitude of Cusco (13,100 ft). Yiyo was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, helpful and funny. We learned so much about Inca history and the trail during the rest of the week from him. He made sure every detail was taken care of and also gave us tips for the local area. Day 2 we started the hike, a gradual 6 mile ascent to camp 1 at about 8500ft. When we arrived our tents and campsite were already setup for us, and we met our porters. These guys were simply awesome, and took care of everything. The only thing we had to worry about was unpacking our sleeping bags into our tents. This was a luxury my wife and I had never experienced hiking before, used to doing everything on our own. We also met our chef Mario, who would prepare all the meals for the entire hike. After a long day of hiking you build up an appetite, and the meals Mario put together were delicious. We always went back to our tents happy with full bellies. Day 2 was the most challenging as we hiked up and over Dead Woman’s Pass (13,800ft). It was a tough day but everyone made it, and we thrilled as we arrived at camp 2. The views were beautiful there and along the way. Day 3 was the longest, ending at camp 3. Again we had amazing views, visited ruins along the way, and learned more about the Incas. Here we visited the nearby ruins of Winay Waynu which were stunning and which most tourists will never visit. The last night we broke camp super early so the porters had enough time to pack out everything as they parted to head home. We then waited for daybreak to finish the last part of the hike. At 5:30 the gates opened and we got on the trail, headed to the famous sun gate. Along the way the sunrise was absolutely beautiful, and as we crossed over the Sunday we stopped to admire the stunning view of Machu Picchu a short distance away. A short while later we arrived at Machu Picchu and were in complete awe. Yiyo guided us through, giving us lots of history throughout. Some of us opted to hike Huaynu Picchu (you must buy tickets far in advance!), which was very challenging but provided the best views of the area and is very worthwhile. The classic photos you see are from this peak. To end, I would highly recommend this trip over just taking the train as you will learn much more about the Incas and will see many more beautiful ruins that you won’t see otherwise. This was an epic experience and we left with a lifetime of memories.

We spent an amazing 6 days with Jonathan as our guide. He started with showing us the historical gems of his town, Cusco, with so much enthusiasm for his ancestors, giving background and history as a great storyteller. The journey to Macchu Picchu was smooth and started with breathtaking stops at some of Cusco’s lesser-known archaeological spots—Tambomachay, Saqsaywaman and more—just gorgeous and peaceful. The tours around Chinchero ruins and Cusco’s center were excellent too. Jonathan did such a great job bringing the history to life in a friendly and relatable way. Thanks so much, Jonathan, you rock!! Peru was beautiful, but especially Cusco and Macchu Picchu. Highly recommend this tour!!

We highly recommend this tour company. We booked a 5-day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley tour plus a 1-day Cusco city tour. We originally planned this trip for May 2020 but then the pandemic happened and so it got delayed by 2.5 years. It was so worth the wait. Inkayni still applied the deposit that we made in 2019 to our trip.

We were taken care of very well all throughout this trip. They have excellent customer service. I need to do a special shoutout to Lisseth, who was very responsive by email all throughout the 2.5 years of planning and the actual journey.

The hotels we stayed at were great. There was one hotel that we didn't like as much but Inkayni made sure we were compensated for the inconvenience once they found out about it.

Our guide Nilton was great. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we went to. He also took care of us very well all throughout the trip and even made suggestions for our Lima stay, which was not part of our Inkayni package.

I would highly recommend this company to all my family and friends who now want to go to Peru after seeing my pics. Thanks so much for taking care of us so well, Inkayni. We hope to book you again in the future.

The tour guide made the travel experience fantastic! Guido was very helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. He even accommodated me to have an English tour guide to Machu Picchu for a day. The weather cooperated well to see the Machu Picchu with the best sunshine for the day. It was quite the opposite for the day to the Rainbow mountain as the whole mountain ground was covered in snow. I would recommend dressing comfortably, such as wearing a sun hat, hiking shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent. The tour itself couldn’t have been more enjoyable without the excellent tour guide as well as the tour group, who made it this six day journey a wonderful memorable experience!

Absolutely enchantingly fabulous from start to finish! Our guide Jonathan shared his knowledge and deep appreciation of all the sights we visited, patiently answering our questions and always allowing us to move at our own pace. It was like traveling with an old friend and not a disinterested tour guide. We will always treasure our time spent in Peru, meeting its peoples, visiting its ancient sites and experiencing its indigenous cuisine. Thank you Jonathan!

Excellent tour, the attention by our guides Yiyo and Edy was exceptional, at all times they were very attentive to the group, they were very good guides, they were supporting us during the different routes. The driver of the band who was also transferring us was also always very well coordinated with our guides and the unit in very good condition. It was a great tour, I recommend them.

We just returned from our South American bucket-list vacation. For the Cusco portion of the trip this package was both cost effective and a great experience. The itinerary exactly to our expectations, with an emphasis on archeology and ancient culture. The hotels are clean and comfortable, but not in prime locations.
Our guide Ernesto is very personable, informative, and has good English skills. Even better, he is a good photographer that knows all the best spots. We got more pictures of better quality than we could have imagined. Thanks for a great time!

They gave it the energetic spiritual mystical touch with which not only made the experience very rewarding but also changed the way I look and see nature.... Thank you so much!!!

The places visited are impressive, the way the agency organizes the level of complexity is perfect you go from least to most by height. The experience provided by the guides such as Franklin who in addition to showing experience and knowledge in the subjects makes a familiar atmosphere among all those who enjoyed the tour and were together for 5 days!! It is recommended!!
