My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, she also helped me with my Spanish. I like that it took most of the day but I had a few hours in Cusco after the tour.

We had a 7 hours (not 10) trip to the sacred valley from Cusco and back. We visited the stunning Temple of Ollantaytambo, made a short stop in Pisac and had a great lunch with a buffet. It seems due to corona everything else, promised in the description, is not possible anymore. Would have been fair to read about that before. But still it was worth.

This was the BEST use of our time and money in Cusco! Sylvia was our tour guide, and she was absolutely the most amazing tour guide in existence. She knew everything, and was able to share so much with us in such an engaging way. There was enough flexibility that we could ask her our own questions, but mostly her skill was that she knew what we would be interested in learning about and shared it before we asked. Sylvia also had connections at multiple markets and was able to guide us as we shopped. She was such a trooper, even when it rained at Ollantaytambo.
This tour is simply the best! They picked us up right from our hotel (they even sent someone 15-20 minutes early just to make sure we made it), the restaurant they selected for lunch was perfect, the bus was more than comfortable (much much better than the city tour busses and even Inca Rail busses), the time they provide at each location is just enough, but not too much.
They have really truly figured out a perfect tour. I particularly loved how Sylvia was in charge, and as we returned to Cusco she let us choose how to use our time and gave us great options. The wool dying place with the little cui (guinea pigs) was the perfect way to end our day. I can't thank Sylvia and this tour line enough for the amazing experience we had, especially for such an affordable rate.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
P.S. If you are going to go on this tour and intend on doing more sightseeing in Cusco I would strongly recommend buying the 10-day Integral Tourist Ticket or Boleto Tourístico del Cusco. Right now they are 130 soles, or just under $40 USD and totally worth it. Buy it before you go on the tour and save some time you could be exploring!
P.P.S. We did Machu Picchu two days *before* this tour and wish we would have done this tour, had them drop us off at Ollantaytambo and stayed the night and *then* gone to Machu Picchu the next morning. It would have been easy to find our own way back to Cusco. It would have been cost-effective for a hotel just to avoid going back-and-forth between Cusco and Ollantaytambo multiple times and paying each way.

This was a very good tour. Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and even spent the drive to the sites talking about the past and current Peruvian political situation. I wish the stop at pisac would have visited the ruins instead of just the market but would still very much recommend this company and tour

Dear Ben S, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us, we appreciate you had a nice day touring Sacred Valley with us. Regarding the price, we can mention that our prices are very competitive considering the quality of our guides and the information they share, we manage security measures in order to guarantee the passengers’ and our staff’s security not to mention that our transportation units are truly comfortable, with AC/heating system, we also have different insurances to protect our passengers; it is true that lots of tour companies may offer this full day excursion but they won’t guarantee a good experience or a safe environment like we do. Once more, thank you for taking the time to comment your experience, we hope our service matched your expectations. On behalf of Viajes Pacífico, we thank you for choosing us and hope to be part of your journey in a next trip to Perú! Warm Regards, Quality Department Viajes Pacífico

Shuttle bus to the "Lost City of the Incas" was very interesting. Very comfortable train. The City of Machu Pichu remained hidden for centuries until discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. An interesting day through the bustling town.

Our tour guide (Lillian) was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience worth while. We also got the chance to see and visit a local market and bakery, prior to climbing the steps for a great view of the sacred valley. Lunch was extremely nice, the company was professional and we had a great day. We used the same company for our trip to Machu Picchu where we had an equally informative and great guide (Ana) who made the day much better and answered many of our questions. Would definitely recommend Viajes Pacifico company for their excellent tours and great tour guides!

I had an enjoyable time on this tour. It lasted from about 8:30 to 5:30. The tour arrived right on time. Started with a lookout on the Sacred Valley for pics then off to the Pisac Market. The guide took us to a store where the owner explained the differences between the different alpaca textiles. After, we went to another store that explained silver jewelry. We were allowed about an hour to explore and shop then it was off to Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo was was amazing. Our guide provided the history and places of interest there. Be warned, the steps are harder than they look lol. The top has amazing views. We were given about half an hour to an hour to explore then it was off to a buffet lunch at a nice hotel. The food was pretty good but if you are suffering from altitude sickness, you might not be hungry. Take some tea or medicine. After lunch, we went to an alpaca farm where we were shown how alpaca textiles were made and dyed. Pretty awesome place to take a selfie with a llama or alpaca as well as buy souvenirs. Then we went back to Cusco. All in all it’s a fun time for sightseeing and shopping. Have fun!

Rony, our tour guide, was excellent. My husband had a bit of a hard time walking, and Rony managed to accommodate him and not inconvinience the rest of the group which could move at a faster pace. It was a very interesting and informative tour. I highly recommend it.
