Fantastic scenery well worth the climb even if the weather did not cooperate, the cloud base only started to lift as we left the park.

Jeannin was an amazing guide! The drive to the highlands was gorgeous and Quilotoa Crater Lake was breathtaking! We recommend hiking boots and hiking sticks to assist with the footing, which can be challenging because it is steep. We would definitely do this trip with Jen again!

We enjoyed our trip with Jen as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about Ecuador and Cotopaxi Volcano. Food was great also. I highly recommend this tour for a family trip.

Had a disappointing experience with this company, who organised my excursions in the Galapagos. Originally the communication was excellent, they requested I paid for all my tours upfront and informed me I would receive my vouchers for the 3 trips organised (this was a bespoke tour) 30 days before. About 2 weeks before I received another message saying the vouchers would be sent next week. This never happened. I should have chased it up but I was busy myself. So all I knew when I arrived at Baltra airport was that I was to be met by their representative at arrivals. No one was there. I tried ringing them (it says they have 24hr service on their website) but no one answered. After waiting 40 minutes I decided to get the bus as I had a ferry to catch. At this point they rang me (I'd left several messages) and explained that the representative would be waiting after the barge you have to take to get off Baltra island. I arrived in Puerto Ayora where the rep got me my ferry ticket but knew nothing about my activity for the next day. Again I tried unsuccessfully phoning them. So I arrived at my hotel with no idea as to where or when my trip to Los Tuneles was taking place. A robust text msg got a suitable response and finally I received my full itinerary and I was able to get to Los Tuneles. As an apology they offered me a few meal at the Royal Rock which I appreciated. However there was also an issue with my second trip, las Tintoreras. Originally it was booked for 8-11am which gave me enough time to get to the airport for a 2pm flight. However when I got my final itinerary it had been changed to 10-12.30. This was extremely tight and added unnecessary stress to the morning. I ended up cutting the trip short to make sure I got my flight There are trips that leave at 8 but despite taking my money for the trip some 5 months earlier they clearly left it late to book and could only get the later trip. My final trip from San Cristobal went fine but overall I found this company far from inspiring

This was a great way to hike through some of the country. It was a an amazing experience to see the Andes. Our guide, David, took us to the best spots and showed us plenty of things I would have missed if I'd have tried to do this on my own. He not only guided us through the mountains but through small and big towns along the way. And showed us Ecuadorian culture and taught us some historical facts as well.

We went on a hike to the summit of Fuya Fuya with David. David was an outstanding guide, he had a bunch of interesting facts to tell us along the way and also knew the most efficient way of getting up to the summit

This was a fantastic trip! Our tour guide Jeannin was friendly and very knowledgeable. She welcomed our questions and gave thoughtful answers. We enjoyed the butterflies and the waterfall hike. It was a little challenging, but she made sure we took plenty of rest and water breaks. The lunch was tasty. The coffee tour was informative and fun because it was hands on for all phases of coffee production. We tried different coffees and coffee snacks. We highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time on Galapagos. The animals are amazing, the sights are fabulous and the people are lovely. Our guide on isabela island Emma was one of the best tour guides we've ever had, she explained things as we were walking, answered questions confidently was funny as well as informative. Our best day was our first full day and Emma made it amazing.

We had a great trip with Manuel, on July 3, 2023. Manuel was very knowledgeable about the area, about Quito, and Ecuador. We enjoyed getting to know him. The private tour gave us great flexibility, which was helpful because we were still acclimatizing to the altitude.

A tour is only as good as the guide, and Jorge was not only the best guide we've ever had, but truly one of the most incredible people we have met in all of our travels as well. Inspiring Ecuador also took care of all the planning and made things very easy for us. In case you're concerned with the lack of reviews so far, know that Inspiring Ecuador is just a secondary company started by Adventure Journeys during covid to facilitate more local expeditions while the borders were shut. As you'll see, Adventure Journeys has the best reputation for tours in Ecuador!

We just got back from the Active Adventures Galapagos tour. It was an incredible experience with the best tour guides. Pablo was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and everything that you'd want from a guide. His assistant Paolo was also very helpful and I'm sure he will make a great guide some day. All the activities were fun and easy to do if you are in good health. The accommodations were wonderful and the food was also amazing. I had not tried many Ecuadorians dishes so it was a good experience.

David was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, fun to talk with, and took me to some local places for authentic Ecuadorian food. Cloud forest is gorgeous, and honestly, rain just added to the experience. He was so kind and willing to help when I had a tough time on some other f the steeper parts of the trail due to altitude change and post-op ankle. Tour was completely tailored to my needs and desires. Roberto, the driver, was also great - felt very safe on some very sketchy, curvy roads. Highly recommend!!!
