We had a lovely day and a superb trip. We were well looked after by Danny and Juanito who showed us Valparaiso and all of its wonderful quirks within a very vibrant and cool city.
Danny was a great guide, funny and very knowledgeable about Chile and Chilean history which added a special touch to the trip itself.
Would highly recommend to anyone who fancied a day out to Valparaiso - he even knew the locals in the city, and showed us the best places to eat.
We ended our tour in Casablanca at a winery where we tried a couple of different wines which were also delicious!
Thanks again to Danny and Juanito for a superb day and wonderful tour of some real Chilean culture!

We were a little perplexed about how and how long to visit Valpo from Santiago. This tour was a very good solution. We saw enough of Viña Del Mar and Valparaiso to get an appreciation of each, particularly with our great guide Daniel (and our driver Christian). We were a group of 8 people a couple from the UK living in Australia and on their honeymoon, two women traveling solo (one from Turkey and the other a Canadian also living in Australia plus an Australian couple). We spent time seeing the highlights of VDM and then began a visit in Valpo, with a break for an excellent lunch with a great view of the harbor area. We then did a walking tour to see the multi-colored houses and wall murals. We ended our trip by taking a funicular to street level to meet up with our van. On the way home, we paid brief visit to the Veramonte winery in the Casablanca Valley for a taste of red and a taste of white - - both very young wines; we did walk out with a very good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
We would highly recommend this tour and especially our guide Daniel who was both informative on a wide range of topics related to Chile and very entertaining.

Getting out to see Valparaíso was the best part of my trip to Chile. It was so easy to book this trip online and receive my exact pickup time the evening prior to the trip. Our guide, Daniel, shared so much information about Chile’s history, geography, and the nuances of the current policial environment (very relevant today...). The tour was efficient without ever feeling rushed. Perfect stops in Valpo (we got to walk through the streets, which not all tours take time for you to do). It was planned to drop us towards the top and descend the hills at a nice pace, with plenty of time for pictures and information along the way. The driver Jimmy was excellent at navigating tricky curves and getting us to each destination. Fortunately, the majority of the time was spent in Valpo, with a quick stop in Viña Del Mar - really to you take in the view of the ocean, and at a winery in Casablanca Valley - we tasted two wines and enjoyed a view of the vineyard. Attempting to do this trip without a guide would be complicated and effortful - this trip was smooth and was worth not having to plan a thing. The lunch spot (cost of lunch not included) was on a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the town and plenty of options on the menu. Definitely recommend our guides and definitely recommend this trip.

I had an amazing tour with Daniel (guide) and Hector (driver),They were very punctual since the pick-up. We started the tour at Valparaiso, where Daniel showed us great places with great street art and furthermore he has a great eye for good photo spots, so needless to say I got great photos , plus he did me the favor of taking great pictures of me.
Added to all of that he knows great stuff about the murals, so it really helped to understand everything.
Place where we stopped for eating was delicious too.
If you want an awesome experience at Valparaiso and Viña del mar I will recommend you taking the tour with Daniel.

P.s. We also stopped at a vineyard on our way back (where we did some wine tasting) , I totally recommend including this on the trip 😉👍

We had a great day. I went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at the result. The “small group” was 4 people and the guide in a comfortable minivan. Hotel pick up was prompt and worked out well. The driver/guide, Julio, was awesome and easily able to answer any question we came up with. Julio spoke great English and has a great story.

I appreciated the lack of stops to traditional “tourist traps” seen all too often on tours like these.

The price is definitely higher than seen on other tours of the same type, but it was worth it.

I wished I had booked my Andes excursion with them instead of another operator.

I don’t really do tours but I heard so much about this city that it sparked a curiosity and I needed to go. I nearly didn’t go on this trip as they didn’t have enough minimum person to go. I’m glad the travel managed to fit me in. I was the only one in the tour and it was great! I had Daniel as my guide and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to and he shared so much about the history of the country and Valparaiso as as Vina del Mar. He was also kind enough to adjust the tour according to my preferences. I told him I wanted a local experience and he brought me to a local fish market and we saw sea dogs waiting to be fed my the local fishermen! That was such an experience!! We also explored the city and walked for 2 hours while he showed me the best murals, stories of some of them and also introduced me to the locals both human and dogs. Sure, you can rent a car and drive yourself to this city, but you won’t get the history and stories of many local events. I say, go on the tour so you’re not going in blindly. Overall, a great day well spent! Thank you Daniel, Vanessa and Emmanuel!! 100% highly recommend!

We had a marvelous time on the tour, from the moment we were picked up in the van to the final drop off. We were fortunate enough to have a knowledgeable, friendly, and funny (he thinks so) tour guide, Daniel and a kind and skilled driver, Emanuel (who tolerates Daniels jokes) :) All along the ride, Daniel was peppering us with facts about the history of Chile, Santiago, Valparaiso, and the natives who loved the land before the current peoples.

We drove through the scenic Casablanca valley, known for its temperate climate and exceptional wines. When we got to the coast, the view comes out of no where - ocean as far as you can see with a colorful town hugging the coastline. Emanuel expertly drove those curves and navigated the narrow streets so we could smoothly and safely take in the beauty around us. We stopped at a few places to get a feel for Vina del Mar before heading to Valparaiso for lunch and wandering. Daniel took us through the streets and alleys to appreciate the colorful murals and unique buildings.

After eating a delicious meal and taking tons of photos of each other as well as the art, we headed back towards Santiago making a stop at Bodegas Re, an old and well-respected winery. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed several glasses of their wine. After many more photos and time to talk with the group, we made the short drive back to Santiago.

Not only did we have Daniel and Emanuel to make the journey enjoyable, we were fortunate to have an AMAZING group of people on the tour with us. We all became fast friends and still talk today. The only thing I wish was different was that the tour was longer. I could have spent several days wandering through Valparaiso. Otherwise, this was an excellent tour and one I would go on again! Thank you!

I would recommend anyone taking this tour to book an official tour rather than attempting to travel from Santiago by normal bus. Valparaiso City is built on many hills and using a booked tour the mini bus will take you to the higher points and allow travellers to walk downhill back to their bus. A most enjoyable day.

Nice tour with a small group.
Our guide Julio could speak perfectly english and he knew all the spots. He took his time to show us around and explain everything.
He also gave us time for ourselves.

I do recommend this vendor/tour, because of the size if the group, which gave the guide the opportunity to react to individual demands/requests.

Highly recommend this trip as Danny, our guide, was most informative, funny and invested in sharing the culture of the area. A nice combination of walking, talking and picture taking. Unfortunately, it was Monday and the funiculars were closed but Danny had us walking the streets with all the beautiful murals. We were lucky enough to meet one of the artists, Tomato, while he was at work! Many thanks for a great day!
