This trip is outstanding and highly recommended to anyone who likes mountains and/or kayaking. Frank was an excellent guide, who took care of everything, including taking photos, so I could enjoy the absolutely stunning scenery. The weather was perfect and the lagune was like a mirror in the morning as the pictures show. Booking this trip was easy, and Matias from Andes Explora was very helpful answering questions very fast. Our trip to valle Nevada with Frank was Super !! We had a fantastic day 👏👏👏 He brought us to the nicest spots for wonderful pictures with very beautiful scenery in the mountains, explained many things about the area and we enjoyed the wine and cheese picnic very much. Wow! Is the word to sum up the amazing experience we had on the Andea Explora E-Bike MTB tour in Santiago. From the booking process Matias was maticiculous in making sure everything was perfect. Especially as we were on vacation from Australia We were picked up by one of the best tour guides we have ever met, Frank! He picked us up straight from our hotel and took us out to the incredible bike park not too far from the city. Even on the journey to the bike park, he took the time to explain the way of life as a Chilean, the sites we were seeing on the way and great knowledge of Santiago. We were measured up and given all the best, top quality protective gear and of course top of the line E-Bikes. Frank took his time to understand our skill level, and gave us so many tips and guidance to get the most out of the day. Throughout the whole journey we could not stop smiling and enjoying the scenary and the whole experience! Frank made sure he ran us through each run and we felt like Frank was our good friend by the end of it all! Highly recommend Andes Explora and cannot wait to try some more tours in other parts of Chile Thank you to Frank and Matias for making the trip extremely memorable!

Kayaking in Laguna Del Inca was incredible! My tour guide was Frank, and I enjoyed his company for the day. He was prompt, spoke good English (my Spanish is terrible), and is an all around good guy. He gave me the option of kayaking in a single or a double with him. Even though I am experienced at kayaking, I chose the double so that I could take lots of pics and just enjoy the scenery. The highlight was us being the only ones on the water!! Absolutely beautiful place — pictures don’t do it justice!! It is a pricey excursion for a solo traveller, but I thought it was worth it for the unique experience of kayaking in the Andes. The drive to Portillo is very scenic as well (take Dramamine if you get motion sickness — lots of switchbacks).

Great day out riding. The Levo was much appreciated on the long climbs, descended like a demon too. Matias went above and beyond helping me, from answering questions to actually getting in the location to get the bike. Absolutely will be back.

The Andes hike was fantastic and Martin was a great guide. He is knowledgeable and very personable. His English is excellent.

This is a challenging hike in the Andes. You could see various birds including eagles as well as lots of flowers and cacti. The guide was patient and able to support an inexperienced hiker.

Awesome hike! Our guide, Martin, was super friendly, on time, and brought everything we needed (waters, hiking poles, and snacks). He knew the hike like the back of his hand and also pointed out a few cool birds and flora. The hike going up is easy to moderate, but going down it can be moderate to difficult so just be prepared to take it slow. Highly recommend this one - amazing views the entire way. Thanks Martin! Definitely intense and best done with proper hiking shoes. I had legs cramps while going down but Martin was extremely patient and took great care of me. Had great conversations with him along the way. Great day out.

Challenging and amazing at the same time. Martin my guide has fantastic local knowledge. A real must for anyone keen to experience the Andes all within a short drive from Santiago.

I wanted to leave a review because I absolutely loved this hike, but I feel like the other reviews paint it as either too easy or too difficult. It is a challenging hike and I wish I had worn hiking boots, especially for the way down. I also wanted to mention that my friend is afraid of heights and she did not enjoy it as much as the rest of us. However, it was fun and the views at the top are absolutely astonishing. Be prepared to take the full 6 hours and if you are not a regular hiker, you will likely be a little sore later. Our guide, Martin, was awesome. He was encouraging and helpful, and made sure we safely navigated the more difficult terrain. I'm so happy we booked this tour and I was very happy that we had such an experienced guide with us! I would definitely do this again!

This was a fantastic hike. Our guide, Nicolas was exactly what you want on a half day hike. He was patient, funny, a good conversationalist, informative… From pick up at the hotel- he went above expectations and asked the concierge in help going ahold of our group due to miscommunication on my part, to the fantastic views and care he took in ensuring our safety, to the drop off… We stopped for slushies at a gas station on the way back on our suggestion. Wonderful trip all around and well worth the cost and effort. 5 out of 5.
