We are always a believer that there is no better way to learn about a city than on a bike early in your stay. There is no better way to learn Santiago than with this tour and Jaime Valdovinos as your guide

He took us to a number of the important areas in the city and gave us great insight into the history and why the city is like it is. No punches were pulled in telling us some of the history that other guides might shy away from. As a result we feel like we have a much improved appreciation for the area.

He pointed out a number of places that we have traveled back to for food and relaxation.

The amount of photos that he took and shared with us were amazing!

Jaime also has an infectious personality that we enjoyed and added an entire new level to the experience.

Communication, pre-tour, was top notch and we never felt like we did not know where to go to start things off

We toured Santiago on a bike after having gone on a walk tour earlier in the day. Our guide was Sebastian. Having walked around town for 4 hours, I was hesitant to go on the bike tour at first.
Despite all we had seen and learned in the morning, we still saw and learned far more after the bike tour. By bike, there is more to cover and see.
Sebastian is extremely warm and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we were enjoying our tour. He paced himself with us, stopped anywhere we wanted, made sure we are comfortable and that the journey would be a memorable one for us.
Sebastian made us feel at home and we felt like we’ve known him all our lives…
I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

I was nervous about riding a bike at night through a new city but Balthazar made it easy. He’s an expert on a mountain bike but let me go at my own pace and stop when I needed to. It’s a great way to check out the way the neighborhoods change and you may get to interact with interesting locals. Be sure to ask for recommendations on places to eat and drink! I had a blast!

While our guide, Jaime, was outstanding, the condition of our bikes was mediocre. After about 10 minutes of riding, the gears in my bike wouldn’t hold due, it turned out, to a lot of obvious debris in the gears. A replacement bike was brought quickly to the rescue; however, when it got dark, i found out neither of the lights on the bike were charged so neither worked. We learned a lot about Santiago during the tour from Jaime, but the bikes did not seem well maintained and I was not comfortable riding through car and pedestrian traffic for 2 dark hours without bike lights. If you choose this tour company, make sure the bikes are in good shape, especially if riding at night!

So, before I did this tour with Juan, I knew like 4 things about Chile: wine, ski resorts, dictatorships and mining accidents. Juan relieved me of my ignorance with detailed explanations of the sites we visited, and put these places in the context of Chile's journey through a complicated and difficult history. I particularly enjoyed visiting the university area and learning about a Nobel prize laureate poet who has a dark history yet to be acknowledged by the major art institutions.

We booked a private tour as we had a specific time we had to start. This turned out to be a blessing for my partner and I, as we got to enjoy a rich Andean sunset riding alongside the Mapucho river into the city, then get to see Santiago come alive with youthful revelry.

This was a terrific way to spend a long layover between one LATAM flight and the next; Juan graciously arranged an Uber to the airport and, worn out from the tour, we slept easily on the plane to our next destination. Thank you for making Chile great, Juan and Huaso bike tours!

Juan gave us a great tour and bike ride through the city. We learned a lot about Santiago and we got to taste a fabulous drink aka the earthquake too. This a great way to see the city on a bike and at night. It was my birthday and I am glad I chose to do this. P.S the drink is great but it is strong so don’t drink it on an empty stomach.

Andres is a great host and guide. We enjoyed touring on bikes with him through Santiago. He is a very knowledgeable guide and works hard to ensure that everybody has a good time. He is located a short walk from the Sheraton which is ideal. Lots of fun and highly recommended!

Juan gave me the best tour ever. During a delightful 3 hour ride we interacted with locals, experienced Santiago culture, and even learned a little bit of Santiago's darker history. Not just the best tour of Santiago, but the best tour ever!
