I was great to do it again!
Marcus was amazing. He is a fabulous guide. We did tour with him a couple of years ago and was a must to do again. Had the best time and didn't leave hungry, the amount of food was plentiful.

Award winning for the worst communication would be more realistic
Booked the tour, went to meet the host, no show, waited for an extra 10 mins to see if they were maybe running late. I then messaged the company to see if there was a problem and was eventually told it was cancelled and to book for another day. The annoying thing is that they could have told us prior to the tour so we didn't have to pay for a taxi and could have arranged other plans instead. I usually don't leave a poor review but this experience was ridiculous and really disappointing.

    Great day with Ronnie!
Fantastic overview of Singapore! Ronnie was knowledgeable and gave us a great background on Singapore’s history, geography and culture (and most importantly, food!). Would highly recommend to hit the ground running with a working knowledge of Singapore!

    Great day tour of Singapore
We had a fantastic day with Meng Teck. From the moment he picked us up it was a wonderful experience. We saw views from the Riverfront, Singapore gallery, the Supreme Court building as well as Chinatown. We had a wonderful lunch in Little India and finished with a great excellent tasting authentic Singapore coffee with the special toast. Meng Teck was always attentive to our needs. I would highly recommended this tour and Meng Teck as a guide

    Fantastic Tour in Singapore
Had a great day with Leo. We were a group of six and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Leo’s knowledge, his local expertise and his sense of humor. We learned so much about the history and the culture of Singapore. We visited sights not to be found on a routine tour that enhanced our appreciation for the history and the future of Singapore. Highly recommend.

They flaked out on us. Terrible customer service.
We wound up not being able to take the tour we had booked weeks in advance, because the tour guide had personal issues. That's understandable - but what's not understandable is that the tour company did not tell us this until AFTER the tour was supposed to happen. In the meantime, we were left scrambling trying to figure out what was going on - with no response from the tour company. They did charge our credit card 2 days before the tour, but when we had not heard from anyone the day before, we sent a message through Viator asking where to meet the guide. We got a response from a tour guide saying he had just been assigned the tour at the last minute, because the original guide could not do it, but that he was fully booked that day and had not accepted the booking. We asked him to find us a different tour guide or cancel the booking, but he said we needed to contact the tour company to do that. So we sent them two messages through Viator, as well as a text, but did not get any response. Finally, that night (while we were traveling to Singapore from another country), we reached out directly to Viator customer service asking them to help. They said they would need to contact the tour company, and we would hear back in one to two days. (Viator also warned us against cancelling the tour ourselves on its app, because it was within 24 hours so we would not be eligible to receive a refund.) Finally, the next day, after the tour would have taken place, we got a message from the tour company saying the original tour guide had personal issues, so they would refund our money. Just horrible customer service! Needless to say, we would never consider using this tour company again - and would never recommend it to anyone.

Great tour not only about food but also about the history of the city. You’ll get to taste things that you’d never choose yourself but that are really nice.

    Worth Every Penny.
I couldn’t recommend this enough, especially to first time visitors to Singapore. This tour gave us the opportunity to get a brilliant feel for the city, and explore places that we otherwise wouldn’t have even thought to have been to. We even went back to a couple of places to explore a little more on our own. Marcus was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and a fantastic host. Every city needs a Marcus to show you around! Do this on the first day of your trip to make the most of your time here. Thanks again for showing us around!

Great introduction to the food of Singapore. I would highly recommend this tour. Our guild William was wonderful.
This tour was a great introduction to the food of Singapore. Our guide William was wonderful. We started with food in the Malay section of the city. Then we went to a Hawker in Little India and sampled Indian food before going to Chinatown and going to a Chinese Hawker. I would highly recommend this tour.

    William is simply The Best
My small group of three followed William through Chinatown, Little India and Haji Road on a Monday. He knew exactly where to go and anticipated every need. The food was out of this world and was enhanced by his walking narrative as we experienced Singapore for the first time. He truly was an emissary for his city and nation and provided insights not only to food, but the culture, ethnicities and lifestyles of his people. We learned more in three hours from William than we could have gleaned from a mountain of guidebooks!

Excellent tour, good range of food
Grayson was a very engaging host with a quiet sense of humour. He took us to 3 different hawkers markets each with a different type of Singapore eats - Malay, Indian and Chinese. Our family tasted food we would not have otherwise tried. served as the Singaporeans would. Our favourites were the Teh Tanik and the Kueh Dadar. He also gave us quite a bit of history and took us to an apartment complex to explain the housing in Singapore. The whole tour was highly entertaining and we would recommend both the tour and Grayson.

Grayson was an incredible tour guide. Not only did he share history about each dish, he also delved into the history and culture around Singapore. He has a gentle manner, which makes asking questions approachable. I would recommend his tour to anyone who is new to Singapore or who wants a true hawker experience.

This was one of the best experiences we have had. We tasted wonderful, unique food that was freshly made, and absolutely delicious. Our guide was fantastic...he regaled us with stories, the connections of culture and food and the fascinating history of this delightful city. We so enjoyed our experience of the color, the vibrancy and the authentic flavors of Singapore. Thank you, Hundred, for a memorable experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Monica was so wonderful. She was on time, so friendly, communicated beautifully and knows the city incredibly well. She had an agenda planned but offered to change or amend anything that I may want to taste or see. You knew the history behind every food I tried and every site we visited. A special talent of Monica's is that she realizes how hot and humid walking around is, so she made sure to stay in the shade 99% of the time so I would be as comfortable as possible. While I loved the food, history and sites, the real draw was meeting Monica. I made a wonderful new friend. My time with Monica was the highlight of my trip! Great tour all around! Monica is a STAR!

The tour is a total rip-off! We (my wife and I) paid S$ 334 for the tour, and we sampled following drink/dishes:

1. Sugarcane Juice (drink - 2 cups S$ 4)
2. Popiah (Snake -1 order S$6)
3. Chwee Kueh (Snake -1 order S$4)
4. Hainan Chicken Rice (Meal - 1 order S$8)
5. Hokkien Mee (Meal - 1 order S$10)

The tour guide took us to two different food courts - one in Chinatown and one in the finance center. While we walked from Chinatown to the finance center, the guide did provide us with an overview in terms of the some of the historical points. The overall duration is about 1 hour and 40 minutes. The way as I see it, we were paying the guide's time, and the rest fee was split between the organizers. We had a similar food tour in Thailand, it was far better than this one. My suggestion is to avoid taking food tour in Singapore.

Our experience began before we arrived, it was our first visit to Singapore. Arthur our guide gave us great advice on where to meet and how to get there by local transport.
When we met up he was full of enthusiasm and was obviously proud of his country and heritage. He showed us round and gave us loads of interesting facts and useful information. Our visit to the hawker market was exceptional, Arthur kept on bringing us dish after dish of local food staples and delicacies. He was a really nice and knowledgeable guide and we could have asked no more of him. When we return we hope to see him again for another tour. I would thoroughly recommend him and the hawker market tour.

My fiancée and I had a wonderful evening with Jon on our private Singapore food tour. He was an enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable host who told us all about the culture and history of Singapore and gave us loads of handy tips about the city. We walked through the markets and took plenty of stops as he explained interesting facts about the different groups of immigrants who made Singapore the diverse city it is today, and we tried amazing food influenced by the Chinese, Malay and Indian cultures. Jon asked us questions and kept the tour really interactive. He was always on hand with a wet wipe to ensure we were able to clean up after eating and was a genuinely fun host. He even went the extra mile so we could celebrate my birthday on the night, which made it a very special evening and took loads of photos at various points so we can remember the evening and post on Instagram! There was plenty of food to eat, including five good sized mains and then other snacks and desserts along the way. Overall, this was a fantastic tour, great for families and couples who are interested in finding out more about Singapore. It's not too long and the walking was manageable and it was made by Jon being a very attentive host. We'll always remember our visit to this interesting city on my birthday, thank you!

Intelligent, informed with excellent communication skills, our "Taste of Singapore, Hawker Center Tour" with William was one of the best tours we've ever had. Not only did we learn about the local food...(which was fantastic) but as we moved from one part of the city to the next, we also learned so much about the history, people and culture of this amazing city state. William enjoys meeting and talking with newcomers and we all appreciated his enthusiasm. A lovely, kind, knowlegable gentleman, our family of 4 highly recommends William for you next tour in Singapore.

Grayson provided both a historical and culinary tour of Singapore. He has a calm demeanor and let us take our time to enjoy and the sights and tastes of Singapore. We enjoyed the murals in Chinatown and the Victorian architecture at Lau Pa Sat. he made sure to explain the historical perspective from a local Singaporean of each site we visited while we were walking around. We finished on time despite Grayson having to wait awhile to get food from the popular stalls with long queues.

My experience with Ang was exceptional! His knowledge of Singapore's history and its food scene was impressive. He enthusiastically answered all my questions, showing his passion for what he does. The tour was fantastic, and I left each hawker center feeling satisfied. The first one we visited was Singapore's largest hawker center, followed by my favorite where I tried the famous chicken rice Anthony Bourdain raved about. The last stop introduced me to a delightful dessert called chendol, made with shaved ice, coconut milk, and toppings. Overall, Ang's tour was amazing, and I highly recommend Ang! ☺️

A private tour through most of Chinatown is the way to go! Our tour guide HJ was wonderful. He planned a great half day for us that included many dishes at two hawker centers, walking tour of Chinatown and a tour of the Singapore City Gallery (a great museum of the history of how the city of Singapore planned and its future). HJ had wonderful energy, was thoughtful and very good communicator. He even sent us emails of suggestions on things to see and do.
