Terrible experience - would NoT recommend!
Absolutely lousy experience from start to finish. Exorbitant entrance fee for adult + child, adult cannot accompany child for activities and can only watch from the side / through glass doors. Not all stations were open too. Insane lines from start to finish for practically all stations, arrived @10am the supposed opening time and there was already a snaking Q to enter the bottle necked entrance - got into the premise ~25 mins later. Queue systems that no one understands, they had oversold more tickets than what they could cope with inside. Timed entry for popular stations eg pilot, firefighter, hospital - medic released at only 3 timings a day ie 0945, 1305, 1545 where u need to attempt queueing for a timed entry ticket for the station if not already fully given out by your turn in the Q. Alternative is to join the normal Q with your kid/s and hope for a chance to participate. Some other stations eg shoppee writing down timed entry kids names at unspoken timings of the day. Each station can only accomodate 4-10 kids at a time, timed activity @ each station ~20mins. Soccer station Q makes no sense where it’s the kids that need to remain standing in Q up to 40 min or more and cannot leave or they’ll lose the spot?! Also need to wear covered shoes / long pants for some stations - a kid wearing crocs shoes with buckle backing was told he could not participate in the soccer activity. Food lines insane (>1h wait, staff couldn’t cope), only 3 eateries of sorts inside - kith café (regular kith prices), pizza bar and a kopi/ Teh shop. Better off bringing own food, snacks and drinks, esp if with young kids who cannot wait. Some stations need you to top up additional $$ eg pizza making and those where kidzo dollars can be earned give up to $10 kidzo dollars per “job done” at the station. End of the day u can try to redeem for a prize at the gift shop. The prices of the gifts were absolutely ridiculous and out of reach for most, esp if it was their first visit there. 50 kidzo dollars (which you get given at the entrance) get you a miserly country eraser whilst more “decent” gifts (which may cost </=SG$10 on platforms like lazada) were going at 600-2500 kidzo dollars?! Even if you spent the whole day there, the crazy waits for stations would make it practically impossible to accumulate >200 kidzo dollars. Many kids were so disappointed, with their parents trying to pacify them. It was a distressing sight. One would think that they’ve reviewed their processes and lessons learnt prior to the long hiatus. It’s no wonder they closed down for a period, not sure how long they’d last this round given how ripped off guests are made to feel from the underwhelming experience. There’s better and more worthwhile activities to consider visiting on sentosa island. Would suggest to take your hard earned money elsewhere !

Regular Hop on / Hop off tour
We like using this type of Bus tour to see what places in the city we want to go back to and spend more time at. This works great for that purpose. If you start early you can also use it to get back to the places you want to spend more time. Also gives you a little bit of information about the different sites and the city as it drives along.

    Timely upgrades are occurring
I have memories of this being the worlds best zoo, but it looked like it needed a bit of TLC. Lucky that there is a heap of renovation work going on! We filled 5 hours there and had a great time. The multi-stage online booking system was a bit of a nightmare.

    Great intro to Singapore
The river cruise that gives sweeping views of Singapore's iconic sights. The sea & land seamless experience quite unique. Tour guide gave good & authentic commentaries on the cityscape & snippets of Singapore's history. First time for us even though we are Singaporeans. Thoroughly enjoyed it so we gave the guide & captain a big tip!!

    Disappointing to say the least.
Due to being stressed as I couldn't download the voucher and had to buy new tickets. I didn't enjoy it at all. No one in my party could download the tickets when I sent it to them. I am looking for a refund from you.

    Amazing night safari experience
Worth the time and effort. You need to make sure you get there early as the queues are lengthy and it’s busy. The Night zoo safari is awesome and register for free for the COTN - creatures of the night , via the QR code as there are time slots. The show is great and well choreographed. Then take the tram later which will go around the zoo. There are also 4 walking trails to see the zoo creatures at night but it’s a long night , so brace for it. Oh, bought some ice creams there and it was pricey, 2 x cones with one scoop each , came to nearly S$20. They charge you S$2.50 for the cone alone . Best to bring your own food if you can.

Do not buy the Sentosa FunPass!
Do not buy the Sentosa FunPass! Unless you know you are definitely going to use them, only buy the FunPass after you have checked that the attractions which you want to go are open, especially when the Covid situation is still fluid. The tokens expire within 180 days and no extension will be provided.

Bad Experience with Sentosa Fun Pass
In fact, I would give it negative, if the ratings are there. A group of us went on a Monday, but no excuse being a Monday. Exchanging our voucher for the Fun Pass is easy, simple, no fuss. The counter staff was helpful. However we still have to exchange for a ticket at the Aquarium that we visited first, where they deducted the number of tokens needed to enter. It was the same process wherever you visited. What was bad, was that it cannot be used to 'purchase' any drinks or snacks. Not at all the attractions. Worse, when we get to iFly, even though the attraction was open, the cafe was not and there's nothing for us to exchange for a drink or snack. Butterfly Park was closed. We asked several kiosk that sells souvenirs as well as some cafes, they do not accept the Fun Pass. End up be prepare to fork up $2 for a bottle of mineral water. The Fun pass can give some savings when you visited the attractions but it is only useful for young people who prefer outdoors activities, which will utilize most part of the Fun Pass value. For us, who prefer indoors attractions, it is very limited. The Fun Pass was purchase with hard cash, why is it cannot be used to purchase drinks and snacks? And only at limited places which we may not go? I have written to the customer service but as usual, they can only feedback to their management. Overall, the value of the Fun Pass, AND the value of visiting Sentosa, is not worth. Better stay put on the mainland. See my other reviews on Sentosa.

    Never again
The bus driver was rude. A long wait sometimes. There is no proper timetable to see so that one can plan their trip. The automatic tour talk sometimes gets cut off as we experience when returning back to the city stop. Not worth in my opinion.

TYPICAL STANDARD HOP ON/ HOP OFF
They have four lines to choose from each taking around one hour to make the rounds. Some of them are repeats, can be windy up top, so I sat inside in the ac. Headphones worked fine but not much information imparted. Keep the headphones when you get off and get back on, or they will charge you extra. Wi Fi on bus, but not really working well. Water available for sale. Some delays at certain stops but maybe due to the construction going on in the city.

    Stuck at botanical gardens
It started off well with the lovely staff at the tourist desk being really wonderful. We bought tickets to the red and yellow lines ( remember what you’ve bought) for half price using our Singapore airlines tickets. We ended up going to the botanical gardens which is where it went horribly bad. Buses come on the half hour depending on traffic. They only let on the amount of people who get off when busy so guess what...... only 5 people got off with 30 waiting! So we wait another half hour and the lucky we got a standing spot on the bus. Driver was driving like an angry man and it wasn’t pleasant hanging on for dear life to keep from being thrown on the ground. Every time you get off, wait half an hour to change colour lines! Caught taxis after this!

A great service with 4 main routes covering all the main sites. We got the 48 hour ticket with evening tour. This was a fantastic trip with food and light show included.
