About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Nadia C0 contributionsAmazing view point, but not worth the priceWe were excited about visiting this iconic part of Marina Bay Sands. The view of Singapore is amazing. However, there are no additional amenities—not even binoculars, which are often available at similar viewpoints. There are no activities or lunch options either except a small bar desk. The experience is not worth the price.Written 15 March 2025
- Dale R0 contributionsBeautiful Gardens and walkThe entry to the gardens is free, you only have to pay entry to the orchid garden. Ps entry is reduced for over 60s if you have a copy of your passport. It's a big saving on the cost. What can I say, I'm not a greenfingers type but it's an enjoyable walk with some stunning plants. Value for money in an expensive city.Written 13 March 2025
- Dale R0 contributionsSadly underwhelming but great viewWell that was expensive! Great view for all of 15 minutes. Very little shade or seating so once the pictures are taken nothing else to do but leave. We just turned up and there was very little waiting time. I know why now. Would I recommend this 🤔 If you don't mind the exorbitant entry price for 15 minutes then it's a great view.Written 13 March 2025
- terrypY3512TK0 contributionsClosed early.Advertised as closing 22:00, but when I attended at 20:45 both the park and bridge were already closed. Had made time between checking in baggage and boarding so both tickets went unused due to the early closure. Not a major deal and managed to cage a limited view from the shopping areaWritten 6 March 2025
- paula0550 contributionsAmazingWhat an amazing experience. 56 storeys above ground you can see for miles. I would definitely recommend this as a place to go in Singapore. You can sty as long as you like and if you want to eat there is a restaurant. You will need to book as it gets busy. I would recommend pre booking tickets to avoid a queue.Written 4 March 2025
- 133odiles0 contributionsSpectacular viewsThe views were 360 and spectacular. You could see all around Singapore. I thought view from Gardens by the Bay Observatiry were good....but this was next level!!Written 2 March 2025
- Stockers1040 contributionsWhat a viewThe sky walk observation deck is located at the top of Marion Sands hotel. This building was opened in 2010 and is an architectural marvel & a Singapore landmark. You take the lift to the 57 floor for wonderful photos of Singapore city and skyline. You can spend as much time as you want on the observation deck and even get a drink at the bar. Great views over Singapore & out to sea with up to 1000 ships offshore at one time. This is a must do in my opinion while in Singapore.Written 1 March 2025
- stephaniefreeman0 contributionsPoor sized compoundsThe zoo is well arranged and they have a reasonably good selection of animals although no proper reptile section , only a Komodo dragon that was hiding! My main criticism is that the compounds for the animals were too small. They needed more space to roam . There were plenty of trees and waterholes but I felt the animals must be bored with such little space. Better seen in the wild on safari. The zoo staff were caring but do we really need to see an elephant perform tricks?Written 28 February 2025
- PutneySW0 contributionsA Terrific Show. This is a fabulous, informative and a very well curated exhibition. I particularly liked the display of recovered sunken treasure, the ceramics were delightful.Written 25 February 2025
- Charlotte C0 contributionsTrip adviser ticket problemsMyself and my partner book these tickets the day before going as we knew it is always fully booked. Firstly the ticket we were given for the experience were Apple wallet tickets or PDF neither of these worked here. When we tried to enter the building we were told that they would not accept the tickets we purchased. They wanted this ticket in the form of a QR code, which we had not been given. The manager then looked at our tickets and confirmation email and allowed us through but he explained that he would be in discussion with trip Adviser about the matter. He took the full details for the booking and stated he would chase it up! We then entered the lift to take us to the 56th floor we thought it was all going well. We were met by another member of staff who also denied us assess to the building again. I explained that the colleague on the first floor had accepted the ticket. He then started to challenge me further by asking for two tickets whereas, trip adviser only provide one for two people. Eventually we were left in as the staff member just wanted to move people along the line so to speak. This completely ruined our experience at this location. I am very disappointed with Trip adviser as this is not the first time I have had ticket issues.Written 24 February 2025
- yuanminc0 contributionstoo bad too saddidn't successfully change the ticket before the show as the longlonglong queue and non-helpful ticket counter officers. a fully waste of money :(Written 21 February 2025
- joania7030 contributionsExcellentAmazing both to look at from ground and to actually go to the observation deck. Very special. Wonderful views and a great experience. Memorable.Written 17 February 2025
- Bob F0 contributionsFabulous views from the observation platform.Great visit to this iconic venue. Well worth went in the evening which was great with all the lights on and great views over the City. Well worth went had plenty of time on the Skywalk and observation platform. Would recommend it to anyone.Written 14 February 2025
- Ourarka0 contributionsJust an observation deck - nothing special. The other reviews pretty much sum it up - it is JUST an observation deck. There was actually a small bar when we went, selling expensive beer in plastic cups. Otherwise, you walk around and look at the views of the city. No seating, no shade …… 10mins max. If heights and photos of the skyline float your boat, then you may be able to justify the price. We were also under the impression it was THE place to see the light shows but after asking around and seeing for myself, I’m pretty sure this is not true. Depending on which one you want to see, get yourself down to the bayside (quieter and for free) or in to the gardens (also fee).Written 6 February 2025
- shimb20140 contributionsMagical MonetAbsolutely incredible, they are beautiful and to have the impressions of monet in the middle spectacular. Not enough time so make sure you set most of the day for this and the flower dome. It is stunning! Highly recommend. Make sure your camera is charged so much to see!!!Written 5 February 2025

I am really conflicted writing this review. Unlike others we bought joint tickets to see the permanent “Future World” exhibition along with the Studio Ghibli ( the latter finishes on February 2, 2025). As an adult I loved the Studio Ghibli exhibition more so than the kids. The kids on the other hand absolutely loved the interactivity of the Future World which I thought offered adults very little.
The kids were having a great time drawing a fish and an octopus in crayons then having them scanned in to the system and projected on the “wall aquarium” which they excitedly chased around. There was another room with airplanes flying around with the same principle. All in all i am sure the kids would give this exhibition 5 stars, while I would only give it 3 stars. But taking into account their level of engagement I am happy to give the overall ArtScience 4 stars.
I have only attached photos from the Future World as there are already lots of Studio Ghibli online.

Visited the Singapore 2219 exhibition. It was interesting to see what might become of the city in 200 years. Some of it was quite dark and thought provoking. An exhibition worth a visit

Spent a few hours here on our last full day was interesting with lots to see but every thing you wanted to look at came with a cost and can get quite expensive if you are not too carefull.

The city is beautiful, needless to say... the cost of living in the center is roughly comparable to the cost of living in the center of Milan... to give an example.
In the suburbs, however, much less.
The city can be visited in 3 days, the metro and buses work great.
It is important to have either cash to buy public transport tickets, or alternatively, a much more recommended and super economical thing, to have an ATM for each person and pay automatically by placing the ATM at the bus entrance or at the metro turnstiles. In 3 days doing this I spent maybe €2 in total and I made a lot of trips, I received the transaction in my bank's app and I spent 7-8 cents per trip. Very little indeed. Super convenient.
Don't miss a visit to the Marina Bay on the terrace 200m above the ground, the gardens by the bay, the ArtScience museum to be booked a few days in advance and then all the most characteristic neighborhoods such as: Clarke Quay, Chinatown, little India, Arab street with the various mosques and temples.
The sea in Singapore isn't much, but if you have time to waste, take a trip to Tanjong Beach.

Not much content - admission gets you one floor / gallery then have to pay extra for other floors and experiences- as a scientist and art lover I was bored and the kids found it very boring. Didn’t mind the exhibition on development of the science fiction novel over the 20 century. Done and dusted in ten minutes.

Tried to buy a ticket for the museum and was told I had to be a combined ticket with one of 2 other things (one being a goddess something) neither of which i understood.
Anyway paid the money, went in and found it was little more that artistic things such as flying cartoon aeroplanes drawn by children on a massive screen.
Similar for the rest of it and on the way out you walk through an led display which has mirrors behind it to make it look like it goes on forever.
In and out in 20 minutes and probably the most disappointing thing i did in Singapore.

It is a very beautiful place with a lot of art to see. I like it very much and would like to go again. My favorite is probably the slide where you slide down and there are flowers and fruits scattered on the floor of the slide. It's very unique and very beautiful.

Took two of our grandkids and had a marvellous time - the Wonderland exhibition in particular was stunning. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Can thoroughly recommend paying a visit when you are next in Singapore - the cafe in the front foyer had the best coffee (and the cakes were good too!!) we had during our 9 days in Singapore!

The 2219 Futures Imagined is horrendous. It shows an apocalyptic future where “Pets as Protein” is a book in a typical home and the home is filled with plants and grow lights. The water is spoiled, the sky's are black and plants are dead and everyone is starving. REALLY? This is a future to be shown to five year olds? If they even understand it, it would give them nightmares. I doubt most of the young kids could understand all the ugly dark visions of a dead planet.
The Future World had some fun moments. You color in a fish or a truck and scan the image. The fish-image swims on a wall of other fish and the truck trundles along in an imaginary village. This part was sort of fun. One section had an imaginary village on a screen. As you moved stuffed-animal-houses around, the images moved on the screen. My favorite part was an elephant on an airplane, flying across the village on the screen. A butterfly area was pretty, but brutal. The only way to interact with the butterfly is to touch them on the wall and then they die. REALLY? Kids want to watch butterflies die? Hey tommy come over here and kill a few hundred butterflies.
We gave up and skipped the Disney part. The first two displays were so dark and depressing that we decided to leave.

Some of the Future World displays were closed for maintenance but the parts we did see were really good. We also had a look at the Alice in Wonderland exhibit which was very interesting. Overall it was a good morning out.
