- Curious153789916440 contributionsA gentle cycle around historic MinilaI went on this tour with my Husband and my friend. The 3 of us absolutely loved it.From the moment we were given our lovely bikes right to the icecream at the end. We were brought around the old city of Manila and our guide Anj was very informative not only about the history of the city but she answered my many questions about the school children we saw on our tour. Thank you Anj . We had a beautiful lunch in Barbara's after. Great value for money thank you guys .Written 10 February 2025
- jessbecause8080 contributionsGreat way to experience old ManilaMy husband and I love going on bike tours in every city or country that we visit and Manila was no different. We learned so much about the history of Manila and the Intramuros area. The bamboo bikes were super cool - very sturdy frame. However, the bike ride itself was very slow and leisurely. It's really just to get from point A to point B. Don't expect any fast riding. The tour course was flat and there are bike lanes in certain areas. Nonetheless, I very much appreciated the team that goes out with the group to help stop traffic to we can all stay together. That's the first I've seen that. I definitely felt safe and that they put our safety first (because Manila traffic can be crazy)! It's worth a go just don't expect any "real" riding. Our guide was informative, nice, and funny! We even got ice cream at the end of the tour.Written 4 February 2025
- SallyRY0 contributionsA great tourReally enjoyed this tour. Our guide Naomi was excellent giving interesting and detailed information and was friendly and keen to answer any extra questions. There were lots of stop offs so although the tour took about 3 hours you weren’t actually cycling very far. We also had an additional cyclist from the team with us who did an excellent job of making sure we had safe passage through traffic. Would definitely recommend.Written 3 February 2025

- Tess D0 contributionsEasy rideThe reviews were very helpful and got this tour right. We really enjoyed our morning on the bamboo bikes. Easy riding around the old town gives you time to look around. Stephen our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about Intramuros and it's history. Thanks for a great tour.Written 18 January 2025
- KrisciaT30 contributionsSo glad we did this tourThis tour was one of the highlights of our Manila visit. Russell is an excellent tour guide- he's very knowledgable and a great storyteller. We started the 3 hr walking tour at the gates of the fort where Russell started dropping facts all the way to the armory where he took us down to the dungeons and then back out to walk on the wall along the river. He then took us out to various other sites like Manila Cathedral and San Agustin church, ending the walk at the Casa Manila museum. He had loads of intersting historical stories at each spot, and gave us enough time to take photos and wander about on our own. We were very lucky that the weather was good too. All in all, a highly recommended tour and if you can, ask for Russell!Written 16 January 2025

We really enjoyed the tour and only wish we had time for the longer one!
The social enterprise Bambike is inspirational and the bikes are really good, staff make sure they are suitable for you.
JayD was an informative and enthusiastic guide who clearly enjoys showing you around his city.
Cold towels and beautiful ice creams are a very welcome end to the experience.

A great way to learn and have fun going around Intramuros! Cedhie the tour guide was well knowledgeable and I would recommend him for those who are interested in booking the tour.
We arrived 20 minutes earlier and we were the only one who went through the tour and it started on time 9:30am as scheduled. And finished the tour around 11:20am. The bambikes were well maintained and easy to handle. Just ask the bikes with basket if you are bringing things with you.
We visited 6 historical sites, these includes churches and landmarks inside the intramuros wall. And all of which has its own story. Well it's worth the knowledge!
After the tour, we were taken to a scoop of ice cream beside bambike and it was really good! The Langka and Avocado! Yummmm! For extra scoops its only worth 50pesos

Steven was a fantastic guide he was very knowledgeable and very passionate about history and you could tell he lived his job. Always checking on people. The riding was very simple and really only took 20 minutes overall. there's lots of breaks, BUT you do have to have good balance on the COBBLESTONES, but THATS only 5 minutes overall. drink at the end was fantastic, same with the view. you can request they bring a fan if you get too hot, great value, very with the money. Water &toilet at start & end. So much better than walking tour, as that would be very hot

The tour mostly takes you around the old military structures in Manila, and ends with Manila Cathedral. Generally not very interesting locations. There were two groups of tourists, and the guide in the other group had a microphone with a loud speaker, while the guide of our group did not, which was a little strange. After the tour they provided complimentary ice cream for everyone. They also have a bar upstairs with ridiculously overpriced beer. I recommend doing this tour only if you are staying near the starting location.

After positive tour in 2018, I repeated the experience of bambo-bike. As 5 years ago tour was almost perfect, this time it will not arrive to the sufficient rate.
Start was delayed by 15 minutes bur finished 11 am as scheduled. Initial Less stops, less explainations (and more confused), only 5 minutes each stop. Express tour will end at main cathedral when the next stop is saint Augustin church in front of the shop. It makes more sense finishing there.
Evidenty business growed and parallely the quality decreased.
It must be considered different options in Manila intramuros.

Booked the 1.5 hr biking tour with 3 of my friends, and had such a blast! Our tour guide was both informative and funny, although at lightly lower energy, considering it was later in the day, and the bikes were comfortable and easy to use. (I hadnt been biking in over a year, but had no difficulty) The roads were, for the most part, smooth, other than the cobblestone we had to get over initially, but that was next to no issue at all. The stops were all very nice, but definitely left me wanting to see more (definitely will be looking into the 2.5 hr tour next!) The bike riding wasn't in any way arduos, so would definitely recommend this tour for everyone! The only thing that could classify as an issue was how one of the people meant to stay behind the group ended up going over some of us, but regardless, I still felt safe, even when the road was busy, or people were crossing. Overall, it was a really great tour, and the free ice cream they gave us at Bathala Bar was the cherry on top!

I enjoyed using a bambike it’s really fun and comfortable. My kids used a pedicab made with bamboo, they had fun as well.
What my concerned was the traffic along the streets it was a bit upset while enjoying a bambike ride there’s a danger that you might hit with the vehicles.
But the tour was enjoyable, our tour guide Joseph was cool and knowledgeable they taking care of us for the whole trip and after that we had a complimentary ice cream! The whole team of Bambike Ecotour are so nice! ( from front desk, tour guides and the pedicab drivers, thank you all! ) It was a good experience, kindly concerned about the traffic or maybe a little extra careful and booked for later hour with few traffics around.
But all and all two thumbs up i gave 4 stars the other bad 1 is because of the traffic. I recommend this express tour for fun and learn about the history of the Fort Santiago. What are you waiting for? Booked now!

I hIghly recommend this tour, the 1.5 hr express. I went on a Saturday, booked it 45 min before the 10am and they got me right in, easy breezy. Well priced and located, I signed an e-waiver and paid with my American credit card. Again easy breezy. Tour guide was knowledgeable with impeccable English skills. We had time to wander in a few sites and the breeze while biking on a hot day kept us cool.

Our tour round Intramuros was excellent, our tour guide (I forget his name now) was so knowledgeable and informative of the history in the area. The trip length was just about right and so enjoyable.
We were provided with water bottles to keep us hydrated during the trip and it was a nice little touch having an ice cream to finish of the tour.
I would highly recommend this tour if your in Manila.

It looks a great tour but I haven’t ride a bike like forever! Is it possible to have a private tour? So I don’t delay others if I am too slow… thanks, Gloriana
